This paper deals with investigations into the testing of cutting force of two type Milling Inserts. The experiments carried out to study that the cutting force was made by the shape of the face milling inserts. I knew that the cutting force is related with a radius of cutting edge on inserts. The result is that a type of B inserts is better than A type inserts because of the radius of cutting edge. For the more, the specific cutting energy is related with radial cutting force that is the direction of spindle rotate.
Cross Hole Type 비 연삭 밀링 인서트의 가공특성에 관한 연구

This paper reports some experimental results on the machining performance of non-ground cross hole type milling inserts. Six kinds of milling inserts were manufactured without using grinding process. Machining experiments were carried out to compare the machining performance of non-ground inserts with that of ground ones. The experimental results indicate that the cutting forces and surface roughnesses of machined surface of both ground and non-ground inserts are comparable.
