Considering that colors can work as media that can make the place better in between self-recognition through tracing and modernization, and that colors can secure individualities of streets, the study was started with the search for plans to restore the streets that have Identity. The external color of buildings was classified as the dominance color. Bright and low-saturation colors were applied to the external color of buildings. The sub color was applied to shades and signboards. The accent color was applied to lights. Shutters were classified as a factor for the application of the sub color but when considering the distribution of buildings, they can take effects as the variables of the view. Therefore, the colors for the shutters require further studies under the understanding of mutual relationship among characteristics and elements of the target place when considering the color selection of shutters is a view after closing time.

Meaning or the power of influence with country image re-intensified by shared information and spreading following advance and change of technology. As country image connect with environment color influence, It makes occur with place of identity, history, culture, geographical feature. Lately new cities are different with site. They have linear and mechanical street but old cities have irregular road and meandering. As a result, the other cities have diversity scene. In spite of some change they have peculiar scene in site accordingly such environment characteristic. In conclusion, this study is for proper image forming of city and country through research on environment color distribution and characteristic of site - from slip road for seoul to Seoul City Hall.

1961년 경제개발 5개년 계획의 실시에 따라 조성된 산업단지는 울산공단을 시작으로 현재 그 수는 740여개에 이른다. 산업단지의 조성 목적은 생산성 향상과 연구의 효율성에 있다. 그러나 그로 인하여 색채경관 측면에서 본다면 동일한 마감재의 반복과 전반적인 무채색계의 사용으로 인하여 획일화 되고 있다. 이러한 색채환경은 본 연구의 대상지인 오창과학산업단지 또한 예외가 아니며 건축물의 색채분포 조사 결과 주조색이 무채색계인 N계에 국한되어 있다. 균일한 색채환경과 격자형의 가로 구조는 방문자의 정위감(orientation) 형성에 어려움을 주고 있다. 따라서 양적 측면의 효율성과 생산성을 제고되어야 하며 색채환경 개선안 제시를 통하여 위의 문제점에 대한 대응과 오창과학산업단지의 색채환경 특화로 연계될 수 있도록 하였다. 그에 대한 개선안으로써 첫째, 오창과학산업단지의 업종파악과 그에 대응하는 구획별ㆍ기업별 상징색채를 제시하고 둘째, 단지 내부의 방향정보 표지 디자인 안 등을 제안하였다. The volume ran into 740 industrial complexes by Economic Development 5 Years Plan as the beginning of Ulsan Industrial Complex in 1961. The Industrial Complex was established for improvement of productivity and efficiency of research. But using of same finishing materials and monotonous caused of uniformly landscape from color environment aspect. Also site of this study, O-Chang Science Industrial Complex is no exception. The study on color distribution of buildings shows the majority consist of an achromatic color. The color environment of uniformity and grid pattern street disturbance for formation of orientation. Therefore, only limited to quantitatively efficiency and productivity have to improvement. This study suggest an alternative through the proposal on its improvement on the problem of site and specialized design of color environment. On its performance improvement proposed the first, grasp of type of industry and color plan of district and company second, direction information sign design on the site.
