        Effects of Annealing Conditions on the Physical Properties of Poly(1-oxotrimethylene) Fibers

        The effects of annealing on the physical properties of poly(1-oxotrimethylene) (POTM) fibers were investigated in terms of draw ratio (DR). Annealing increased the degree of orientation with increasing DR. Analysis of wide angle X-ray diffraction patterns and Raman spectra suggested that annealing caused crystal structure transition from the ${\beta}$-form to the ${\alpha}$-form, which had a denser and more perfect crystal structure. The ${\beta}$-form and ${\alpha}$-form crystals were favorably formed for as-spun fibers and DR 13 fibers, respectively. In the fiber of DR 4, a combination of both ${\alpha}$- and ${\beta}$-form crystals was observed. Once the fiber was melted, no melt crystallization took place during cooling. Infrared spectra revealed that the melting process changed the chemical composition of POTM fibers by thermal decomposition, resulting in disappearance of the melt crystallization. In the stress-strain (SS) curve, the as-spun fibers exhibited yield behavior and a plateau region, while the drawn fibers gave a typical SS curve of brittle material without a plateau region. POTM fibers of DR 13 exhibited a significant increase in tensile modulus compared with as-spun and DR 4 fibers.

        호흡방법에 따른 전방머리자세의 목근육 활성도 변화

        Purpose: This study attempts to determine the effects of applying three kinds of breathing exercises for four weeks on the neck muscle activation of subjects with a forward head posture. Methods: A total of 30 adults aged in their twenties (15 men and 15 women) with a forward head posture who voluntarily agreed to participate after listening to the purpose and procedure of this research were chosen as the subjects of this study. The subjects were randomly divided into either the diaphragmatic breathing exercise (DBE) group, the abdominal drawing-in maneuver (ADIM) group, or the abdominal expansion method (AEM) group according to the breathing intervention scheme. Each group included ten subjects. The muscle activity of the sternocleidomastoid, scalenus anterior, and splenius capitis was measured in all the groups prior to the intervention, two weeks after the intervention, and four weeks after the intervention. All the interventions were implemented for 30 minutes a day, three times a week, for a total of four weeks. Results: No significant between-group difference was observed in terms of the change in neck muscle activity according to the four-week intervention scheme. Further, there was no interaction between the intervention period and the intervention scheme in relation to the change in neck muscle activity. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that abdominal expansion exercise is as effective as other breathing exercise methods for subjects with a forward head posture. We therefore expect that abdominal expansion exercise can be used as a scheme for the prevention of symptoms as well as therapy for patients with a forward head posture.

        콘텐츠 명성 및 사용자 명성 평가를 이용한 UCC 검색 품질 개선

        본 논문에서는 콘텐츠 명성 및 사용자 명성 평가를 통해 신뢰성 높은 UCC 검색을 가능하게 하는 방법에 대해 기술한다. 기존 정보검색과 달리 UCC에서는 얻을 수 있는 텍스트 정보가 한정적이기 때문에 텍스트 외적인 정보의 사용이 필요하다. 콘텐츠 명성과 사용자 명성은 비텍스트 정보를 이용하여 평가되는데, 평가된 명성을 자질로 사용하여 UCC 검색을 수행하면 기존 검색 방법보다 향상된 검색 성능을 기대할 수 있다. 콘텐츠 명성은 영상 자체 정보와 영상과 관련된 소셜활동 정보로부터 콘텐츠의 명성, 즉 가치를 평가한다. 또한 사용자 명성은 콘텐츠와 사용자, 사용자와 사용자 사이의 소셜활동 하나하나에 주목하여 네트워크를 구축하여 사용자의 명성을 평가한다. 각각의 명성을 평가하여 UCC 검색에 사용하는 두 개의 시스템을 구현하고, 유튜브로부터 수집한 UCC와 사용자 정보를 이용하여 두 시스템의 비교 실험을 수행하였다. 실험 결과, 콘텐츠 명성을 활용한 시스템에서 조금 더 높은 사용자의 동의를 이끌어 낼 수 있었으며, 이 결과는 향후 UCC 검색에 활용할 수 있을 것이라 기대된다.

        전방머리자세 대상자에 대한 목운동과 골반운동이 척추 굽이에 미치는 효과

        Purpose : The purpose of this study was to compare the effect of pelvic exercise on the CVA and spinal curve in adults with forward head posture compared to the group using only neck exercise when pelvic exercise was performed in parallel with conventional neck exercise. Methods : GPS 400 and Formetric were used to identify craniovertebral angle (CVA), thoracic kyphosis, lumbar lordosis, and pelvic torsion and were measured by an experienced research manager. Forward head posture (FHP) was selected for people whose angle between the line connecting the ear ball and the seventh cervical spine and the horizontal line is 50 degrees or less. The 30 selected students were randomly divided into 15 experimental groups and 15 control groups. Mackenzie exercise and sling exercise were performed for neck exercise in both the experimental group and the control group, and pelvic exercise using a Swiss ball was additionally performed in the experimental group. All data collected in this study were analyzed using SPSS statistics 21.0. Cervical vetebral angle (CVA), thoracic kyphosis, lumbar lordosis, and pelvic torsion were compared at 0 weeks, 3 weeks, and 6 weeks for each measurement factor using ANOVA with repeated measures. For the statistical significance test, the significance level of α was set to .05. Results : The changes of pelvic torsion, thoracic kyphosis and CVA due to pelvic exercise using Swiss Ball and neck exercise were changed over time, but lumbar lordosis were not changed. And there were no significant differences among the groups. Conclusion : In conclusion, the pelvic correction exercise is considered to be an effective exercise for correcting the FHP and requires regular pelvic correction exercises. We expect the results to be used in clinical trials.

        TextRank 알고리즘을 이용한 문서 범주화 (pp.110-114)

        본 논문에서는 TextRank 알고리즘을 이용한 문서 범주화 방법에 대해 기술한다. TextRank 알고리즘은 그래프 기반의 순위화 알고리즘이다. 문서에서 나타나는 각각의 단어를 노드로, 단어들 사이의 동시출현성을 이용하여 간선을 만들면 문서로부터 그래프를 생성할 수 있다. Text-Rank 알고리즘을 이용하여 생성된 그래프로부터 중요도가 높은 단어를 선택하고, 그 단어와 인접한 단어를 묶어 하나의 자질로 사용하여 문서 분류를 수행하였다. 동시출현 자질(인접한 단어 쌍)은 단어 하나가 갖는 의미를 보다 명확하게 만들어주므로 문서 분류에 좋은 자질로 사용될 수 있을 것이라 가정하였다. 문서 분류기로는 지지 벡터 기계, 베이지언 분류기, 최대 엔트로피 모델, k-NN 분류기 등을 사용하였다. 20 Newsgroups 문서 집합을 사용한 실험에서 모든 분류기에서 제안된 방법을 사용했을 때, 문서 분류 성능이 향상된 결과를 확인할 수 있었다. We describe a new method for text categorization using TextRank algorithm. Text categorization is a problem that over one pre-defined categories are assigned to a text document. TextRank algorithm is a graph-based ranking algorithm. If we consider that each word is a vertex, and co-occurrence of two adjacent words is a edge, we can get a graph from a document. After that, we find important words using TextRank algorithm from the graph and make feature which are pairs of words which are each important word and a word adjacent to the important word. We use classifiers: SVM, Na?ve Bayesian classifier, Maximum Entropy Model, and k-NN classifier. We use non-cross-posted version of 20 Newsgroups data set. In consequence, we had an improved performance in whole classifiers, and the result tells that is a possibility of TextRank algorithm in text categorization.

        지지면에 따른 호흡운동 기법이 배근육 두께에 미치는 영향

        PURPOSE: The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of stable and unstable surfaces on abdominal muscle thickness and changes in trunk muscle thickness in accordance with breathing methods during bridging exercises. METHODS: Bridging exercise on a stable surface, bridging exercise on an unstable surface, bridging exercise using a drawing-in maneuver on a stable surface, bridging exercise using a drawing-in maneuver on an unstable surface, bridging exercise using bracing on a stable surface, bridging exercise using bracing on an unstable surface. In sequence, the muscles`` thickness was measured three times before and after each exercise, and the measured value was averaged. RESULTS: There were significant differences in internal oblique and transversus abdominis muscles`` thickness in the drawing-in maneuver in both stable and unstable surface (p<0.05). There were no significant differences in external oblique muscle``s thickness in the bridging exercise in both stable and unstable surface. The type of surface did not have a significant influence on the abdominal muscles`` thickness. CONCLUSION: As a result of the study, the drawing-in maneuver had a greater effect than bridging or bracing maneuver on muscle thickness. We suggest that drawing-in maneuver will be more effective in a person with a weak abdominal muscle.

        뇌졸중 환자에서 기능평가와 보행 및 균형과의 관련성

        Purpose:The purposes of this study were to find correlations among Fugl-Meyer Assessment Scale, walking velocity, walking asymmetry and balance ability. Methods:The study sample consisted of 50 stroke patients referred to the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine in the Sanggye Paik, Ilsan Paik, Seoul Paik, and Dobong Hospital. All subjects were ambulatory with or without an assistive device. All participants were assessed on Fugl-Meyer Assessment scale and walking velocity, walking asymmetry. The data were analyzed using independent t-test, ANOVA, and multiple regression. Results:The results revealed that upper extremity coordination, balance and pain items of Fugl-Meyer Assessment scale were significantly correlated with walking velocity and upper extremity and upper extremity motor and balance items of Fugl-Meyer Assessment scale were significantly correlated with walking asymmetry. Fugl-Meyer Assessment scale was not significantly correlated with Static Balance Index, Dynamic Balance Index and Weight Distribution Asymmetry Index. Their power of explanation regarding comfortable walking velocity and comfortable walking asymmetry were 60.3%, 42.5% respectively. Conclusion:These results showed that Fugl-Meyer Assessment scale is significantly correlated with walking velocity, asymmetry and not significantly correlated with balance ability. Therefore Fugl-Meyer Assessment scale is an appropriate assessment tool to predict walking ability of patients with stroke. Futher study about walking velocity and asymmetry by change of Fugl-Meyer Assessment scale is needed using a longitudinal study design.

        닫힌사슬운동과 열린사슬운동이 요부안정화근의 두께에 미치는 영향

        Purpose : This study was to investigate effects of closed kinetic chain and open kinetic chain exercise on the lumbar stabilizarion. Methods : A total of 30 healthy over 20 years old college students(men = 14, women = 16) who were participated in this. We selected randomly people of CKC, OKC, and control group. For the past four weeks, CKC and OKC group worked out 3 times per week and then we compared within group and between groups on muscle width. Results : 1. The width of internal oblique, transverse abdominis, and multifidus were all significantly increased after four weeks exercise in the CKC group(P<.05). 2. The width of internal oblique, transverse abdominis, and multifidus were all increased after four weeks exercise in the OKC group but transverse abdominis musule only showed significant difference. 3. Difference values between pre-exercise and post-exercise of transverse abdominis and multifidus in the CKC group was significantly high and difference among the groups were significant. Conclusion :: Accordingly, lumbar stabilizing exercise was more effective to increase a width of abdominal deep muscles through CKC exercise.
