The versatile practical use of electron beam welding which is very high energy density is still in early stage, but in the special welding field, the welding process is used in manufactured goods. The investigation for electron beam welding up to the present was almost achieved not for the mechanical properties of welded joint but for the process itself. On this investigation, the fatigue strength, crack propergation phenomena and hardness of weld metal and heat affected zone of partially penetrated welded joint of HT80 steel by electron beam welding was accomplished. The tensile fatigue strength in weld line direction of the joint was about $25kg/mm^2$. There still appeared spikes on the tips of penetration, and the crack initiated at the tips of spikes not from the roots. The hardness of the weld metal was higher than it of base metal because of production of martensite by rapid cooling.

스마트폰과 스마트패드는 편리성과 휴대성을 비롯한 많은 장점들과 우수한 성능, 풍부한 어플리케이션을 바탕으로 정보를 효과적으로 관리할 수 있다. 이러한 스마트 기기의 활용 빈도가 늘어나면서 사용자들은 스마트 기기를 이용하여 다양한 정보를 관리하고 있다. 최근 회의, 세미나 중에 스마트 기기에 저장된 정보를 활용하고 시각적으로 공유하는 사례가 빈번히 발생하고 있지만 작은 크기의 디스플레이로 인하여 효과적으로 정보를 교환하기에는 근본적인 어려움이 있다. 본 논문에서는 다수의 안드로이드 스마트 기기의 화면을 하나의 대형 디스플레이 장치를 통하여 효과적으로 공유하는 기법을 제안하고 이를 바탕으로 스마트 기기 화면 공유 시스템을 개발하였다. 개발된 시스템은 여러 스마트 기기 화면을 통합하여 PC에 연결된 대형 디스플레이 장치에서 보여준다. 또한, 효과적인 공유를 위하여 대형 디스플레이 장치에서 출력되는 스마트 기기 화면의 개수와 그 화면 크기를 스마트 기기와 PC에서 직접 제어하는 기능을 제공한다. Smartphones and smartpads have a lot of advantages such as high convenience and portability. Also, they can effectively manage enormous amounts of information based on their high performance and plentiful applications. As such devices have been frequently used, many users manage various types of information using the devices. Recently, during conferences or seminars, smart device users often try to utilize stored resources on their devices and present them visually. Unfortunately, since smart devices have small displays, there is an essential difficulty in visual sharing of information. In this paper, we propose a method which integrates screens of several android smart devices and supports sharing of the integrated screen through a large display, presenting a screen sharing system for android smart devices. The developed system integrates display screens of several smart devices into a screen and shows the integrated screen through a large display connected to a desktop computer. In addition, to support the effective sharing of screens, the system provides functions for adjusting the number and the size of screens on a large display. The functions are controlled on a smart device and/or a desktop computer.

JXTA는 개방형 프로토콜로서 인터넷이나 MANET(Mobile Adhoc NETwork)에서 연결된 기기들 사이의 P2P 방식 통신을 가능하게 한다. 본 논문에서는 JXTA를 기반으로 하는 스마트폰 협업 어플리케이션의 개발에 대하여 기술한다. 체계적인 개발을 위하여 P2P 네트워크에서 필요한 핵심 서비스와 협업 서비스가 정의되고, 정의된 서비스를 지원하기 위한 프로토콜이 설계된다. 개발된 어플리케이션은 다양한 가상의 작업공간을 지원하여 스마트폰을 활용한 효과적인 협업 환경을 제공하며, 모바일 네트워크에 의존하지 않고 근거리에 있는 스마트폰 사용자 간에 협업을 지원하기 때문에 재난 지역 등의 다양한 상황에서도 유용하게 사용될 수 있다. JXTA technology is a set of open protocols that enable any connected device on the internet or MANET(Mobile Adhoc NETwork) to communicate in a P2P manner. In this paper, we present a JXTA-based smartphone collaborative application. For this, we define the core services and collaborative services necessary for a P2P network, and design proper protocols to support the services. The developed application provides the effective environment for group works in smartphones, supporting the various virtual workspaces. Since application supports the group works among users in close-range without relying on the mobile network, it could be very useful in various situations such as the disaster area.

Analgesic and antiinflammatory activities of several herbal medicines were investigated in order to develop the antiinflammatory drugs from oriental herbal medicines. 80% Ethanol extracts of Ephedra sinica, Chaenoleles sinensis, Asiasarum siboldi, Nelumbo nucifera, Scolopendra subspinipes mutians, Evodia officinalis, Aremarrhenae asphodeloides, Bufo bufo gargarizans, Gardenia jasminoides, Piper longum, Carthamus tinctorius, Piperus nigrum, Magnolia officinalis and Siegesbeckia glabrescens showed significant inhibitory effects on hyaluronidase, trypsin, and albumin denaturation in vitro. They also decreased the acetic acid-induced pain and vascular permeability induced by histamine in mice.

JPE : AJAX 기반의 비동기 통신을 지원하는 Java Push Engine

The Web is widely used to share information, utilizing the client-server model. In the client-server model, since the server only responds according to explicit requests from the client, the model seems hard to support sharing of massive information rapidly changing in today's Internet. The technology known as Server Push enables the server to actively provide information to clients without explicit requests from the clients using Web pages. Although various studies have been done to realize the Server Push technologies, there are many problems in the development of push application without push engines which support infrastructures for the effective development of push application. In this paper, we develop JPE(Java Push Engine) which presents the effective support for push services over the Internet. JPE is composed of two main components: the JPE Core supporting Epoll and the JPE Library supporting asynchronous communication. In addition, JPE defines various push functions and provides programming interfaces supporting the functions. Push applications developed using JPE effectively manages client connections with Epoll mechanism, providing push services through AJAX-based asynchronous communication. 정보를 공유하기 위하여 널리 이용되는 웹은 클라이언트-서버 모델을 사용한다. 클라이언트-서버 모델은 클라이언트의 명시적인 요청을 통하여 서버가 응답하는 방식으로서 오늘날의 급변하는 인터넷 정보를 효과적으로 제공하기에는 많은 어려움이 따른다. 서버 푸시는 클라이언트-서버 모델 기반의 웹에서 클라이언트의 요청이 없더라도 서버가 능동적으로 정보를 제공할 수 있는 통신 기술이다. 이러한 서버 푸시 기술을 구현하기 위하여 다양한 연구가 이루어지고 있지만 푸시 어플리케이션의 효과적인 개발을 지원하는 푸시 엔진의 부재로 많은 어려움이 따르고 있다. 본 논문에서는 인터넷에서 서버 푸시 서비스를 효과적으로 제공하도록 지원하는 Java Push Engine인 JPE의 개발에 대하여 기술한다. JPE는 Epoll을 지원하는 JPE 코어와 비동기 통신을 지원하는 JPE 라이브러리로 구성된다. 그리고 JPE는 다양한 푸시 기능을 정의하고 이를 지원하는 프로그래밍 인터페이스를 제공한다. JPE를 이용하여 개발된 푸시 어플리케이션은 Epoll 기법을 이용하여 클라이언트 연결을 효과적으로 처리하며, Ajax 기반의 비동기 통신을 통하여 다양한 푸시 서비스를 제공한다.

트위터 사용자를 위한 스마트폰 그룹 채팅 시스템

최근 급속히 보급된 스마트폰과 SNS의 발전은 가상 세계와 실세계를 보다 밀접하게 연결하여 사람들간의 다양한 상호작용을 가능하게 하였다. 지금까지 등장한 여러 SNS들은 사용자들 간의 네트워크를 쉽게 구성하는 방법에 치중하였기 때문에 상대방을 확인하고 정보를 교환하는 기능은 매우 단순하였다. 특히, 실시간 그룹 채팅 등과 같은 복합적인 형태의 정보 교환 기능을 지원하지 않기 때문에 협업 수행과 같은 다양한 분야에서 활용되기는 어려운 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 대표적인 SNS인 트위터의 사용자 네트워크를 기반으로 실시간 그룹 채팅을 지원하는 방법을 제안하고 이를 바탕으로 스마트폰 기반의 인스턴트 메시징 시스템을 개발했다. 본 연구에서는 트위터의 소셜 네트워크 정보를 분석하여 메시징 시스템 서버에 실시간으로 반영할 수 있는 알고리즘을 고안하였으며, 소셜 네트워크 관계를 분석하여 자동으로 그룹을 생성하고, 그룹간 실시간 메시징을 지원하는 XMPP 프로토콜 기반의 스마트폰 메시징 시스템 클라이언트를 구현하였다.

CISG상 매수인의 신용장의무이행에 관한 연구

대법원은 2013년 11월 28일, 2011다103977판결에서 ‘국제물품매매계약에 관한 국제연합 협약’(United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods, 이하 ‘CISG’라고 한다)을 국제물품매매계약의 준거법으로 적용한다면, 국제물품매매계약에서 당사자가 대금의 지급을 신용장에 의하기로 한 경우 매수인은 계약에서 합의된 조건에 따라 신용장을 개설할 의무가 있고, 매수인이 단순히 신용장의 개설을 지체한 것이 아니라 계약에서 합의된 조건에 따른 신용장 개설을 거절한 경우 이는 계약에서 매도인이 기대할 수 있는 바를 실질적으로 박탈하는 것으로서 이는 본질적인 계약위반에 해당하므로 매도인은 계약을 해지할 수 있다고 선고하였다. 그리고 그 근거로 CISG의 제25조, 제53조, 제54조, 제64조를 제시 하였다. 본 논문은 매도인의 계약해제를 인정한 당해 판결의 결과에 찬성한다. 그러나 대법원이 본 판결에서 CISG 상 신용장개설과 관련하여 신용장 개설지연이 본질적인 계약위반이 아니라는 취지의 판시를 한 점과 매매계약서에서 합의된 조건에 불일치한 신용장의 법적 문제들을 설명하지 아니하고 계약위반을 인정한 점에 대하여는 검토할 부분이 있다고 보여 진다. 그리하여 본 논문은 국제물품매매계약에 있어서 CISG 상 위의 문제점들을 법리적으로 검토하여 그 결과를 제시하였다. CISG 상 매수인의 신용장 개설 거부와 매수인의 신용장 개설지연은 계약위반이며, 매매계약서에 존재하지 않는 특정 조건을 첨부하고 매매계약서의 내용과 부합되지 않은 신용장 발행은 매도인의 계약해제 사유에 해당됨을 밝히고 있다. The first Supreme Court ruling (Supreme Court 2013.11.28. ruling 2011da103977) applying the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (“CISG”) is concerned with fundamental breach of contract under Article 25 of the CISG and the seller’s right to avoid the contract under Article 64 of the CISG. According to this ruling, a buyer adding conditions to a documentary credit that were not previously agreed to by the seller constitutes fundamental breach of contract and, therefore, the seller is entitled to avoid the contract under Article 64. I agree with the court’s ruling because adding conditions that were not previously agreed to eventually burdens the seller. This paper approvals the result of the judgment that discharging a contract to the plaintiff. however, the Supreme court could not set forth the specific criteria of “fundamental breach“ that related to the opening letter of credit on the CISG in this judgment, and this paper does not agree that delaying the opening of the credit letter is “fundamental breach“, and the judgment that “the legal issues of the inconsistent terms between the credit letter and the sales contract were not clearly stated“ were essentially admitted as fundamental breach is questioning. Thus, this paper presents the results of the review of the CISG on the above issues in a judical Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.

Long Polling을 지원하는 자바기반의 Push Engine

인터넷에서 정보를 제공하는 일반적인 형태는 클라이언트의 요청에 따라 웹 서버가 응답하여 제공하는 방식이다. 이러한 전통적인 방식은 클라이언트의 명시적인 요청에 따라 정보가 제공되기 때문에 급변하는 정보를 클라이언트가 적시에 제공받기에는 불편함이 따른다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 다양한 연구들이 시도되고 있으며, Server Push는 전통적인 방식의 문제점을 극복하기 위하여 웹서버에서 정보가 변할 때마다 클라이언트로 적시에 정보를 제공하는 방식이다. 본 논문에서는 Server Push 기반의 웹 어플리케이션 개발을 효과적으로 지원하는 Java Push Engine에 대하여 기술한다. Java Push Engine은 자바 기반으로 구현되어 플랫폼에 독립적인 Push 어플리케이션 개발을 지원하며, 다중화 통신을 지원하여 많은 클라이언트의 요청을 동시에 처리 할 수 있다. 또한 Java Push Engine과 함께 효과적인 비동기 통신을 수행하는 Push 클라이언트를 개발하기 위한 Ajax 기반의 Java Push Engine Java 스크립트에 대해서도 기술한다.
