프랑스어 (se) casser la tête의 의미에 대한 인지언어학적 분석

은유는 흔히 언어학의 연구 대상으로 여겨지지 않았으나, 레이코프와 존슨이 ‘개념적 은유’를 통하여 은유가 우리의 일상 언어에 퍼져 있음은 물론이고 사고의 세계에 만연되어 있다는 주장을 제기하며 은유 표현들을 언어학 분석의 대상으로 삼았다. 인지언어학도 마찬가지로 비유적 언어를 문제로 여기지 말고 해결책의 일부로 보아야 한다는 입장을 가진다. 개념적 혼성은 언어의 의미 구성 방식을 다루는 인지언어학의 한 가지 방법론으로, 입력 공간 구축과 공간 횡단 사상과 투사로 이루어진 다소 복잡한 인지 과정이다. 먼저, 입력 공간들 사이에서 부분적 공간 횡단 사상이 이루어지는데, 이것은 입력 공간에 공통된 총칭 공간에 의해 한정된다. 다음으로, 입력 공간의 요소들이 혼성 공간에 선택적으로 투사되어 새로운 출현 구조가 형성된다. 이러한 출현 구조가 바로 의미 구성의 실마리가 된다. 혼성 이론을 통한 은유의 분석은 개념적 은유 이론이 추상적인 개념적 은유자체에 초점을 두는 것과 달리 개별 표현의 은유적 의미가 구성되는 방식에 초점을 둔다. 또한, 개념적 은유 이론은 장기 기억 속에 저장된 인지 모형으로 작용하는 반면에 혼성 이론은 실시간 처리가 이루어지는 동안에 구성되는 정신공간을 통해 작용한다. 이와 같은 혼성 이론을 바탕으로 (se) casser la tête의 은유적 의미를 개념적 통합 연결망의 구성을 통해 분석한다. 장기 기억에 존재하는 개념적 은유 {머리는 그릇이다}가 실제 예문에서 제공된 각기 다른 문맥에 따라 실시간으로 구성된 개념적 통합 연결망에 의해 각기 구별되는 은유적 의미로 발현되는 것을 이 분석을 통하여 확인한다. The fundamental issue is that the idea of the metaphor was not often considered to be a subject of linguistics, but Lakoff and Johnson considered metaphor as a subject of linguistic analysis through the theory of conceptual metaphor, arguing that metaphors are not only prevalent in our everyday language, but also in the world of thought. Generally speaking, cognitive linguistics also takes the view that an adequate conceptual framework for linguistic analysis should view figurative language not as a problem, but as part of the solution. Conceptual blending is one of the methodologies of cognitive linguistics that deals with how the meaning is structured, and it is a rather complex cognitive process consisting of input spaces, cross-mapping and projection that are brought into the blend. The blend develops the emergent structure that serves as a clue to the composition of the meaning. The conceptual metaphor theory focuses on the abstract conceptual metaphor itself, but the blending theory focuses on how the metaphorical meaning of an individual expression is constructed in those cases. The conceptual theory works as a cognitive model stored in an individual’s long-term memory, but the blending theory works through the mental space that is constructed during real-time processing in the brain. We use this blending theory to analyze the metaphorical meaning of (se) casser la tête through the conceptual integration network model. This analysis confirms that the conceptual metaphor {The head is a container} that presents in long-term memory is expressed in metaphorical meanings, which are at once considered to be distinct by the conceptual integration network configured in real time, according to the different contexts provided in the sentences.
다양한 촉진제를 활용한 CO₂ 하이드레이트 생성 성능평가

Hydrate technology facilitates efficient carbon capture, reducing CO₂ in the atmosphere. Water molecules and gas molecules form gas hydrates under relatively high pressure and low temperature conditions enabling water molecules to create a polyhedral framework to encage gas molecules inside the cavities.(1) Additional chemical additives must be present to promote hydrate formation. Two thermodynamic promoters are applied for the formation of CO₂ hydrate. Tetrahydrofuran (THF) and cyclopentane (CP) are selected to ease the pure CO₂ hydrate equilibrium conditions for suitable pressure and temperature conditions. THF is hydrophilic while CP is water immiscible liquid substance. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of each thermodynamic promoter on CO₂ hydrate formation performance. The experiments are conducted under isobaric pressure condition: 0.5, 1.0, 1.5 ㎫, and the formation temperature is set at 5℃. Promoters’ concentration ranges from 1.5 ㏖% to 4.5 ㏖%. It is found that CP shows greater CO₂ gas uptake than THF in every condition.
비정형 건축물의 스마트건설을 위한 BIM 활용에 대한 연구 - 세종포천선 처인휴게소 시공사례

Because irregular shaped buildings are designed with various three-dimensional curves, the difficulty of design and construction is very high, and more construction drawings are needed to reduce construction errors. General 2D drawings may have limitations in conveying the information necessary for construction. By utilizing BIM, it is possible to three-dimensionally design parts that are not expressed on 2D drawings and additional structurall components required for the construction of the curved exterior finishing materials. This study examines the necessity of BIM at the construction stage, its performance through it, and how it can be linked to smart construction technology through construction BIM being applied to the new construction site of Sejong-Pocheon Line Cheoin Rest Area.

Secondary refrigerants are one of the most promising methods for energy consumption reduction in conventional refrigeration industry. Ice slurry is commonly used as a secondary refrigerant, but gas hydrate has advantageous for environmental effects and cold thermal energy transportation. Furthermore, utilizing CO₂ hydrate for the secondary refrigerants can contribute to the reduction of CO₂ emission. CO₂ hydrate is formed under high pressure and low temperature conditions which can be eased by thermodynamic promoters. In this study, tetra-n-butylammonium bromide (TBAB) and tetrahydrofuran (THF) are added to form CO₂ hydrate under 3 bar pressure and 4℃ temperature conditions. Comparisons of single additives and mixed additives are assessed for CO₂ hydrate formation and cold thermal energy transportation application. According to the experimental results, the mixed additives shorten the induction time and lower exothermic peak during CO₂ hydrate formation and increase CO₂ capture ratio. Additionally, the dissociation enthalpy of CO₂ hydrate is increased by adding the mixed promoters resulting for effective cooling application.
CNC T-BAR 형상제어 시스템을 활용한 비정형 건축물의 곡면 파사드의 시공사례 검토

Through the case study, we surveyed the performance of a CNC-T BAR system on irregular-shaped building construction project. By CNC T-BAR system, we mean a surface curvature control system has been used in aircraft and ship manufacturing by controlling entire surface points on shape. For the past 10 year, the number of irregularly-shaped building design and construction project has been increased, and also the studies on irregular-shaped construction methods have been conducted. However, the previous studies did not review on the performance of the CNC T-BAR system. We collected construction-completed cases in Korea, which applied the CNC T-BAR system, and we studied its performance by comparing with a segment system in terms of construction duration and its quality. The result shows that the CNC T-BAR system can shorten the construction duration comparing with segment-assembly system while maintaining high quality. The CNC T-BAR system is expected to apply on the more number of irregularly-shape building construction project.

3D printing has the unique advantage of the ability to customize freeform product even in small quantity. However, we need to select and apply the only necessary parts of it because of the high cost of the manufacturing technology. It is of critical importance in irregular-shaped curtain walls to ensure precision of construction as well as quality fo finish. Complex shape that have structural members at varying angles can have nodes of different shapes making it unfeasible to construct using a general node connection detail. Therefore, this study aims to utilize smart node system using 3D printing as a solution to complex irregular-shaped curtain wall design.
