Two necessary features of most social research are the formulation and testing hypothesis. In this paper it was examined closely the logics in which construction and testing of hypothesis may be made. The researcher is interested in devising practical solutions to all types of social problems. He observes social events and seeks to explain their occurrence by developing theories. Enabling him to determine the adequacy of his theory as an explanatory tool is one important function of the hypothesis. However, it is not hypothesis construction that a certain concept is simply being connected with other concept. There are certain strategies of hypothsis construction. They can be counted as original thinking process, extensive / intensive tests and inductive tests. Therefore, there is a need for selecting a strategy in hypothesis construction that fits the particular goals of the scientist and maximizes his profit in performing empirical tests. What the logics means in this paper is how scientist examine various hypotheses that have been suggested as possible answers. Sometimes, this procedure is quite direct. But usually the test will be less simple and straightforward. In the latter case, the test in based on an argument to the effect that if the contemplated hypotheses is true, then certain observable events should occur under specified circumtances. Briefly, if H is true, then so is I, Where I is a statement descrbing the observable occurrences to be expected, namely, test implication of the hypotheses. And it was also examined the role of probability theory in hypotheses testing and discussed some of the problems that accompany the interpretation of them, i.e. theoretical considerations, sampling considerations, measurement considerations, data collection procedures and statistical considerations.
