Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of nutritional education program (NEP) on nausea and vomiting, anorexia, food intake, and nutritional status among GI cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. Methods: A nonequivalent, non-synchronized posttest design was used. Study subjects were conveniently selected 30 patients (15 subjects for each group) who were undergoing chemotherapy. The subjects of the experimental group received NEP which consisted of 2 educations and 1 counselling while they were hospitalized, and telephone counselling with nutritional supports after discharge for four times. Results: The score of anorexia was lower and the amount of food intake was higher in the experimental group than those of the control group. However, there were no significant differences in levels of nausea and vomiting, weight, hemoglobin, albumin, and total protein level between the experimental and the control group. Conclusion: The findings demonstrate that the NEP was effective in alleviating anorexia and improving subjective food intake of GI cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. These findings suggest that NEP can be a useful nursing intervention for preventing nutritional disorders for patients with GI cancer after chemotherapy.
근력강화 운동프로그램이 슬관절 전치환술 여성 노인환자의 통증, 피로, 신체적 기능에 미치는 영향

Purpose: The purpose of the study was to identify the effects for 4-weeks muscle strengthening exercise program on pain, fatigue, and physical function(muscle strength of leg, walking competence, balance, flexibility of patella) in elderly women with total knee arthroplasty(TKA). Method: Utilizing a quasi-experimental design, 30 TKA patients consisted of the experimental group (n=15) and control group (n=15). The experimental group participated in the muscle strengthening exercise program, twice a day for 4 weeks. Data were analyzed with SPSS WIN 18.0 program, using repeated measure ANOVA. Result: As time goes by, There were significant differences in muscle strength of leg (F=6.60, p<.001), walking competence(F=7.15, p<.001), and balance(F=17.55, p<.001) between the experimental and the control groups. Conclusion: The findings of this study revealed the positive effects of muscle strengthening exercise program in elderly women with TKA.
혁신도시 개발정책 평가 : 지역 부동산 가격을 중심으로

This study investigates the impact of the innovative city development policy aimed at the agglomeration economy from two perspectives, focusing on land and apartment prices. These are whether the increase in local income through the agglomeration economy drive up the rise in real estate prices and/or whether real estate prices rise due to expectations for simple development profit. The former was analyzed by using macroeconomic indicators such as GRDP and per capita regional income. In the latter case, by using year-dummy variables, we explore the change of influence by each of policy implementation stage. From 2007 to 2019, as a result of panel regression analysis of 175 cities, counties, and districts, it is found that land and apartment prices rose without income increase in the innovative cities. In the case of annual apartment price change, it increased significantly in 2011, just before public institution relocation was actively executed. This can be said to reflect the expectation that housing demand will increase after the completion of relocation of public institutions. In the case of land prices, the magnitude of the increase in land prices was not that large during the research period when compared with apartment prices. We conjecture that the research period of this study is the time when the innovative city site development projects had already begun. When implementing such a large scale city development policies in the future, more sophisticated policy formation and management are required to effectively realize the economy of agglomeration, and at the same time, it is necessary to prepare a smart measure to prevent speculation in both land and apartments.
