This paper investigates the safety states in two modes, Six Switch Open(6SO) and Three Phase Short(3PS), and describes the behavior of torque and current generated in each state. The transient state and steady state behavior of the current appearing in the active short circuit operation were analyzed. In addition, a conceptual design of a Safety Logic Circuit that can converge to an active short-circuit state even in case of MCU failure was proposed. And the active short-circuit current and braking torque generated during active short-circuit were analyzed through FEM analysis in consideration of the worst case operating conditions and environmental conditions of IPMSM. Finally, considering the back EMF with respect to the battery cutoff voltage and temperature, the time of switching from 3PS to 6SO was also considered. This paper includes the analysis of the ASC-current in transient and steady state by simulation results.

The current control methods of Y-connected 7 Phase BLDC motor are sine wave current control and square wave control. The sine wave current control method needs dq axis transformation of 7x7 matrix for current control and very complex. Also this method is not suitable for multi Phase BLDC motor of trapezoidal back emf wave. Therefore, in Y connected multi phase BLDC motor, the square wave current control methods are required. Generally, in the 3Phase BLDC system, Average current control method is used for current control. The average current is obtained that the summation of absolute value of each phase current magnitude is divided by the number of conduction phase. However, if average current control method is applied to multi-phase system, there is a problem that each phase currents are different. This problem affects unbalance of each phase torque and fluctuation of total torque. This paper proposed each phase current control method of Y connected 7Phase BLDC system. Proposed method is used for PI controller of each phase for each phase current control. This method can perfect square wave current control. Also, configuration of the method is easier than DQ axis transformation. Proposed method is verified through simulation and experiments.
모바일폰에서의 물리층 코드 최적화에 의한 IrOBEX성능 향상

모바일 폰에서 IrDA를 통하여 개인정보(전화번호부, 동영상, 사진등) 송수신시 IrMC, IrOBEX 그리고 HDLC 프로토콜 기반위의 IrLAP등의 프로토콜 스택을 사용하고 있다. Primary, secondary 두 mobile phone 간에 IrLAP layer의 payload data 송수신시 이용되는 3가지 physical layer schemes 중 전송속도 115.2kbps data rate의 제안된 표준인 Asynchronous(Async) frame 방식을 이용한다. 현재의 모바일 폰에서는 Async frame scheme을 구현하기 위한 인터페이스 방식 중 UART 인터페이스를 이용하여 구현하고 있다. 현 모바일 폰에 이미 구현 되어 있는 기존 UART의 FIFO 제어 방법과 Interrupt service routine의 제어 알고리즘을 개선하여 기존 제어 방식과 비교하고 향상된 성능의 결과는 Throughput로 도출한다. 현 모바일 폰에서 사용자가 개인 정보 data등을 저장할 수 메모리 공간이 점점 늘어나고 있는 추세이다. Camera의 해상도 현 5Mega pixel까지 지원되고 동영상 파일 등도 근거리 무선통신인 IrDA로 송수신할 수 있으므로 본 성능비교 file의 size는 100Mega 이상도 비교할 수 있도록 하였다.
차량용 인버터의 능동단락회로 및 능동단락전류 거동에 관한 연구

This paper investigates the behavior of active short circuit (ASC) in order to protect an inverter and a motor when any faults occur on inverter system at high-speed operation region of motor. The implementation of ASC function is to control the inverter output to be a zero vector which state can be named three phases short (3PS) in the fault condition. The zero vector (3PS) can be generated through two approaches. One is from healthy main MCU, and second is from specific logic circuit to force the zero vector under the fault situation regardless of whether the MCU is healthy or unhealthy. This paper only considers the latter case. The ASC function causes unintended brake torque in the motor and the freewheeling current between the inverter and the motor which is called ASC-current. The ASC-current generates huge heat losses on the power module during transient state. Therefore, this paper proposes a strategy to make robust reliability for the inverter system. In addition, this paper includes the analysis of the ASC-current in transient and steady state by mathematics and simulation.
