화려한 싱글과 된장녀 : 20, 30대 고학력 싱글 직장 여성들의 소비의 정치학

2000년대 초반에 들어서면서 한국사회에서 목격되고 있는 것은 2ㆍ30대 여성들이 중심이 되어 일어나고 있는 다양한 사회적 변화들이다. 미혼과 만혼 증가와 저출산 현상 등에서 볼 수 있는 것처럼 이들이 만들어내고 있는 다양한 변화의 양상들이 주목 받고 있는 상황이다. 이와 동시에 이들의 소비패턴이 큰 주목을 받고 있다. 2ㆍ30대 싱글 여성들은 시장 영역에서는 드라마 ‘섹스 앤 시티’의 주인공들과 같은 ‘화려한 싱글’, 혹은 연봉 4000만원 이상의 ‘골드 미스’ 등으로 소비주체화되고 있는 한편, 대중담론의 지형에서는 젊은 여성들의 소비를 비난하는 ‘된장녀’ 논쟁의 표적이 되어 박해를 받았다. 이 연구에서는 2ㆍ30대 여성들, 특히 그 중에서도 구매력이 있는 싱글 직장 여성들이 소비의 주체로 부상한 맥락들에 대해 살펴보고, 실제 당사자들과의 심층면접을 통해 이 여성들의 소비의 패턴들과 이에 내재되어 있는 문화정치학적 차원에 대해 고찰해보았다. 여성들은 소비력을 활용하여 처해있는 상황에서 여러 전략들을 구사하고 있었으며 소비사회에서 돈벌이와 외모 가꾸기가 갖는 힘에 대해 간파해가고 있었다. 근대는 여성을 생산과 일터로부터 소외시키기보다는 소비자로 부상시켰는데, 그래놓고 여성들의 소비에 반발하는 남성주의적 대중 여론의 지형이 존재하는 상황이다. ‘화려한 싱글’과 ‘된장녀’ 논의가 공존하고 대립하고 있는 현재의 대중 담론 지형에서의 이분법적이고 분열증적 양상들을 넘어서서 보다 심도 깊고 다양한 논의들이 이루어져야 할 것으로 보인다.

What we can see in the Korean society from early 2000 is the advent of various social changes centered on women in their twenties and thirties. As we can see from increase in unmarried and late-marrying women and low birth rate, consequent changes created by young women are being noticed. The big issue at the same time is patterns of consumption among single women in their twenties and thirties. While spot-lighted as leading consumers in the market sector with nicknames like ‘Fabulous single" like those in ‘Sex and the City," or ‘Gold Miss" with annual incomes of 40 million won or more, they are oppressed by public discourse for their overconsumption and being criticized as the target of ‘Doenjangnyeo" dispute. In this paper, I focus on how women in their twenties and thirties, particularly those single career women with buying power, emerged as the main body of consumption and study their consumption patterns and their inherent cultural-political meanings through in-depth interviews. From these interviews I found that these women developed various strategies to cope with their current situations by practicing their power of consumption and knew the scope of power that money-making and cultivating outward appearances have in the consumer society system. Instead of isolating them from production and work places, the modern society has turned women into consumerswhile at the same time engaging in male-oriented public discourse that object totheir consumption in this society. In depth and wide range discussions will take us beyond the dichotomous and disuniting phenomena of current public discourse where the ‘Fabulous single" and ‘Doenjangnyeo" arguments coexist and confront each other.

There are many vibrations and noixes during vehicle use in urban although pavement road. Those are from engin vibarations, tire and wheel related vibrations. And the vibrations of vehicle use cause frequently las variation of road state. This study investivated the whole-body vibration and noise caused as variation of road state and speeds during automobile duiving in Pusan City, Korea Based on the results, exposure to whole body vibration and noise during vehicle use was higher at 70km/h than 50km/h in speed. On the floor of vehicle at speed 50km/h and 70km/h, the the mean values of energy equivalent acceleration and permissible exposure time by vebrational performance were 99.2cm/s²(1512.4 min), 200.3cm/s²(1939.5 min)in x axis ; 132.3cm/s²(1035.9 min),182.3cm/s²(1278.2 min) in y axis;87.1cm/s²(2774.6 min),234.8cm/s²(4196.4 min) in z axis, respectively. And on the seat of vehicle at speed 50km/h and 70km/hr,82.0cm/s²(597.1 min),63.2cm/s²(757.4 min), 157.2cm/s²(1286.8 min) in z axis, respectively. Permissible noise exposure time(PNET) caused during vehicle use were 80hr, 184hr in speed 50km/h and 57hr, 116hr in speed 70kn/h when doors were closed and open,respectively.
