Recently, it is interested in composit and hybrid structural systems because these could make the effective structural members and systems through the reasonable combination of structural materials. The objective of this study is to investigate the flexure and shear strength of composite beam using steel fiber concrete and angle. For this purpose, five composite beams are constructed and tested. Based on the results, both steel fiber and angle can increase the strength. Howevre, ductile behavior could be feasible for adequate tensile reinforcement ratio. Therefore, it is considered that the composite beam system could achieve the desirable behavior with ductile manner.

Experimental study was carried out to investigate the structural performance of doublely reinforced composite beams with steel fiber concrete and angle. For this purpose, four composite beams with steel fiber and angle were prepared. Main variables for specimens were tensile reinforcement ratio and shear reinforcement. Based on the test results, strength and failure mode were evaluated with the prediction. The predicted flexural and shear strength are in accord with the observed strength.

본 연구는 강섬유로 보강한 보통 및 고강도 콘크리트의 재료적 특성을 평가하기 위하여, 216개의 표준공시체 및 ¢100×200 공시체를 제작하여 실험하였다. 실험의 주요 변수는 강섬유의 형상비와 강섬유혼입율이다. 그 결과에 의하면 강섬유 혼입율의 증가에 따라 압축강도 및 쪼갬인장강도 모두 증가하고 있으며, 동시에 최대 압축응력에 해당하는 변형율(ε<SUB>of</SUB>)과 파괴 변형율도 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. The purpose of this study is to investigate the mechanical properties of normal and high strength concrete with steel fiber. For this purpose, total 216 cylinder specimens which have some variables such as aspect ratio and volume contents of steel fiber. From the results of experimental test, strengh and deformability of steel fiber concrete in both compression and tension are much enhanced with respect to the fiber volume content.
