        Purpose: The study aimedto provide basic data to improve the quality of home healthcare nursing services by evaluating quality of care in representative nationwide sites. Method: The current quality of home care service in 104 nationwide sites was evaluated in terms of structures, processes, and outcomes based on published standards of the Joint Commission on Accreditation of healthcare Organizations. Results: The mean score for three dimensions of quality of home care service was as follows in descending order: structures (77.6), outcomes (60.4), and processes (38.7). Additionally, by specific item compared level of quality of home care servicein each site, the highest score was 97.3 and the lowest score was 42.3 out of 100, with a mean score of 74.7. Conclusions: These findings provide a base for establishing the quality management system and to develop a tool for evaluating the quality of home healthcare nursing. The result should be continuous management and improvement of home healthcare nursing quality.

        간호학 전공 대학생의 영양지식, 식생활 태도 및 식습관

        Purpose: This study investigates the relationship among nutrition knowledge, food habit problems and dietary attitudes in nursing students. Methods: A total of 856 nursing students participated in the study. Data was analyzed by frequencies, t-tests, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple stepwise regressions via SPSS WIN 21.0. Results: The mean scores for nutrition knowledge and dietary attitudes were above average and the score related to food habit problems was high. Dietary attitudes correlated positively with nutrition knowledge, but dietary attitudes correlated negatively with food habit problems. Significant predictors of dietary attitudes included: food habit problems, interest in nutrition and health, exercise, and drinking. The regression model explained 16.4% of perceived dietary attitudes. Conclusion: To improve dietary attitudes among nursing students, nursing educators should develop nutritional educational intervention programs in order to promote nutrition knowledge and identify food habit problems.

        암환자 영양 관련 국내 간호연구 동향

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the research trends of nursing researches done on cancer patients’ nutrition in Korea and to make suggestions for future studies. Methods: A total of 100 studies from 1989 to 2015 were analyzed. 22 nursing studies were selected for analysis the based on keywords ‘nutrition’, ‘cancer’ and ‘patients’. Results: Of 100 papers, 27 were doctoral dissertation and master’s theses, 73 were from academic journals, 3 were thesis studies, and 19 were reported research in academic journal in nursing fields. Quantitative researches accounted for 92.0% while 20% among them were nursing researches, and other types of studies were 2%. The most frequently used research type was non-experimental 65.0%, while the ratio of experimental researches was 27.0%. The most frequently used research subjects were cancer patients without diagnostic classification with 37.0%. The most common issue of qualitative studies was the patient’s nutrition condition. Conclusion: The further studies about cancer patients’ nutrition condition need to be done with various approaches such as concept or tool development study, multi-disciplinary research, qualitative study and education program development study.

        간호대학생의 자기효능감, 진로의사결정 유형과 진로결정수준 관계

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to contribute to career counseling and career guidance for nursing students by examining students’ career decision-making styles and career decision levels and the relationship between self-efficacy and career decision-making styles and career decision levels. Methods: A descriptive survey design was used and data were collected using questionnaires from a sample of 469 nursing students. The data were analyzed using frequencies means, Kruskal-Wallis test, Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis with SPSS 21.0. Results: Career decision level had a significant correlation with self-efficacy and decision-making styles. Self-efficacy (β=.143, p<.001), type of decision-making styles rational type (β=.180, p<.001), intuitive type (β=.137, p<.001), dependent type (β=-.236, p<.001) and sex (β=-.086, p=.023), school grades (β=.086, p=.033), and satisfaction of nursing major (β=.209, p<.001) were significant predictors of career decision level. Conclusion: It is necessary to develop effective career support programs according to type of decision-making styles, sex, school grades, motivation to improve nursing students’ self-efficacy and satisfaction in the nursing major.

        긍정정서코칭이 간호대학생의 자기효능감, 셀프리더십 및 학습몰입에 미치는 효과

        본 연구는 간호대학생의 긍정정서코칭이 자기효능감, 셀프리더십, 학습몰입에 미치는 효과를 검증하기 위해 실시한 비동등성 대조군 전후설계의 유사실험연구이다. 연구대상은 G대학교 간호학과 2학년 학생으로 실험군 41, 대조군 38명을 대상으로 연구기간은 2017년 8월부터 12월까지 1주에 1회씩 총 12주간 진행되었다. 자료수집은 긍정정서코칭 프로그램을 적용하기 전과 긍정정서코칭 프로그램을 적용 한 후에 측정하였고, SPSS WIN Version 21.0 프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계와 χ²-test , t-test로 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 실험군이 대조군에 비해 자기효능감(t=-2.391, p=.019)과 셀프리더십(t=-3.060, p=.003)수준이 유의하게 향상되었고, 학습몰입은 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과를 통해 긍정정서코칭이 간호대생들의 자기효능감과 셀프리더십 향상에 있어 효과적인 방법임을 확인하였다. 따라서 간호대학생을 위한 체계적이고 효과적인 맞춤 긍정정서코칭 프로그램을 개발할 필요가 있다. The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of Positive Coaching on nursing department. A non-equivalent pre-post test of quasi-experimental design was used. 41 student were assigned to an intervention group and 38 student to a control group. The intervention program was termination during 12 weeks from August to December, 2017. Data were collected before-and after program, and analyzed using the SPSS 21.0 program, The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, χ²-test , t-test. There were significant increases in self—efficacy (t=-2.391, p=.019) and self-readership (t=-3.060, p=.003), no difference of learning flow in the experimental group compared to the control group. This study suggests that Positive Coaching would be an efficient way to self—efficacy and take self-readership for nursing students. It is necessary to develop a systematic and tailored Positive Coaching program for nursing students.

        간호학과 신입생의 긍정적 사고, 자기효능감이 학교생활 적응에 미치는 영향

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of positive thinking and self-esteem on school adaptation among freshmen in a nursing department. Methods: Data were collected by questionnaires from 172 nursing students in the month of December 2017. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, an independent t-test, ANOVA, Pearsons correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression. Results: A positive correlation was found for school adaptation with positive thinking and self-esteem. Positive thinking, self-esteem, major satisfaction and interpersonal relationships were all significant predictors of school adaptation. The model explained 43.6% of the variables. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that positive thinking should be considered when developing strategies to increase school adaptation among freshmen in nursing departments.

        간호대학생의 죽음에 대한 태도와 호스피스 인식

        이 연구의 목적은 간호대학생의 죽음에 대한 태도와 호스피스에 대한 인식을 확인하고 간호대학생을 위한 호스피스 교육 프로그램 개발을 위한 기초 자료를 제공하는 것이다. 연구대상은 D 광역시 소재 대학교 간호대학생 194명을 대상으로 2016년 5월 23일부터 5월 31일까지 구조화된 설문지를 이용하여 자료수집 하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 21.0 프로그램을 사용하여 기술통계, t-test, ANOVA로 분석하였다. 죽음에 대한 교육이 필요하다고 답한 대상자는 189명(97.4%)으로 나타났다. 죽음에 대한 태도는 5점 만점에 2.63점으로 나타났고, 호스피스 인식은 4점 만점에 3.11점으로 나타났다. 죽음에 대한 태도는 학년, 임상실습 경험에 따라 유의한 차이가 있었고, 호스피스 인식은 학년, 임상실습 경험, 죽음관련 교육 필요성에 따라 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 이러한 변수들을 고려하여 간호대학생을 위한 죽음에 대한 태도를 강화하고 호스피스에 대한 인식을 높이기 위한 교육프로그램 개발이 필요하다. The purpose of this study was to examine attitude toward death and perception on hospice care to provide baseline data for the development of an educational program for hospice care for nursing student. The survey was performed on 194 nursing students in one university in D metropolitan city. The data collection period was from May 23 to May 31, 2016. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis, t-test, ANOVA analysis with the SPSS/WIN 21.0 program. Most of the participants (97.4%) recognized the necessity of education on death. The mean of the attitude toward death score was 2.63 out of 5, perception on hospice care score was 3.11 out of 4. There were significant differences in attitude toward death according to grade, experience of clinical practice and there were significant differences in perception on hospice care according to grade, experience of clinical practice, the need for death education. Therefore, we need consider these variables to develop a hospice education program to enhance nursing students’ attitudes to death and their perception of hospice care.
