Fatigue life estimation by the theoretical stress concentration factors are, in general, considerably different from test results. And in calculating stress concentration factor, it is very difficult to consider actual geometry and material property which are the notch shapes, imperfections or defects of materials such as porosities inclusions and casting defects, etc. Therefore, the paper deals with the experimental method to find out the more exact stress concentration factors by measuring the strain distributions on each specimen by 3D-ESPI(Electronic Speckle Pattern Interferometry) System. Then the fatigue lives are compared between theoretical calculations using stress concentration factors determined by 3D-ESPI system and fatigue test results

선박 도킹 시 간이화된 격자 모델을 사용한 효과적인 CAE 시스템 개발 사례

최근에 선박의 도킹해석은 3차원 전선 구조 해석을 통해 수행되어 왔으나 도킹해석 모델을 구성하는데 많은 시간과 노력이 필요하였다. 전선구조해석 모벨을 만들기 위해 필요한 선박구조 도면이 완성되기 전인 초기 설계단계에서 도킹시 반목배치를 조기에 확정하고, 구조 안정성을 확보하기 위한 노력이 요구되어 왔기 때문에 간이화된 도킹 해석 프로그램을 개발하게 되었다. 2차원 격자구조를 이용한 도킹해석기법을 통해 얻은 반목에서의 지지력이 3차원 전선해석모델을 사용하여 얻은 반목에서의 반력 결과와 비교해 타당한 결과를 보여 주고 있음을 확인하였다. 간이화된 도킹용 해석 프로그램을 개발하였으며, 다음과 같은 기능을 갖추어 사용자가 쉽게 격자 구조 모델을 생생하고 해석을 수행할 수 있도록 구성하였다. 향후 각 요소의 단면 특성치를 자동으로 산정하는 기능이 추가되어야 한다. 그리고 부유식 도크(Floating dock)에서의 도킹해석은 본 개발의 대상이 된 건식 도크(Dry dock)에서의 경우와 다른 고려사항이 추가되어야 하기 때문에 향후 추가적인 연구와 개발을 통해 새로운 기능으로 포함될 것이다.

초저주파음의 유해성 및 풍력 발전 소음 관리에 대한 고찰

풍력 발전은 미래의 청정 에너지원으로 활용 가치가 높으나, 초저주파 소음을 발생한다. 초저주파 소음은 차폐가 어려우며, 생리적으로 다양한 부정적인 효과를 유발할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 Wind Turbine Syndrome (WTS)을 유발하는 초저주파수 풍력 소음의 유해성을 개관하고, 풍력 발전기 소음의 측정 및 관리를 위한 기술적인 측면을 고찰하고자 한다.

언어기호로 본 『도덕경』의 세계

이 글은 현상계의 이면의 보이지 않는 어떤 원리와 현상계의 우주적 기원에 대한 노자의 직관적 발견과 설명방식을 추적해본 것으로서, 『도덕경』의 언어기호와 문맥의 논리적 분석에 언어기호학의 기초지식을 원용하였다. 노자는 언어의 한계와 특징을 잘 알고 있어서, 신중히 용어를 선택하고 새로운 의미를 부여하였다. 도(道)를 작명하면서 선택한 대(大)자에 도가를 상징할 수 있는 새로운 의미를 부여하여, “진정 멀리 간다는 것은 앞으로 갈 뿐 아니라 보이지 않는 반대 방향으로도 감을 의미한다(遠曰反)”고 하였다. 무(無)와 유(有)의 의미를 새로이 부여함으로써, 찰나적 시공간이라는 시(始)의 개념과 조우하였고, 자연의 독특한 질서에 대해 깊이 사색하는 길을 열게 된 것 같다. 그는 보이지 않는 진실을 묘사하고 설명하기 위한 수사학적 전략에 고심했다. 자연세계의 기원을 설명하기 위하여 순환논리의 오류도 마다하지 않고, 고대의 어원과 기존의 통상적인 의미에서 새로운 적절한 의미를 끌어내었다[묘(妙), 요(徼), 욕(欲), 관(觀)]. This article tracks Lao-zi’s intuitive discovery and his method of explanation of the invisible law behind the natural world and the origin of the universe. The basic knowledge of linguistic semiology was introduced in the logical analysis of the text Dao De Jing. Lao-zi was well aware of the limitations and characteristics of language, carefully selected terms and creatively gave new meanings to explain his findings. The word “Greatness” was selected and given the new Daoist symbolic meaning: “Going far away” means “going backward to the invisible dimension as well as going forward(遠曰反).” He gave the words “Being” and “Non-being” new meanings, therefore, can meet the important idea, ‘fleeting time and space’ in the word, “Beginning” and think deeply on the unique order of the nature. He tried rhetoric device to explain the invisible truth and the origin of the natural world even with circular logic, and search for the reasonable, new meaning in the archaic and contemporary words.(妙, 徼, 欲, 觀)

辛酉政變(1861)과 太后大權論

본 논문은 이른바 “太后臨朝稱制”로 표현되는 황태후의 독특한 비상대권의 전통과 그 관념이, 그 유사한 발생조건에서 태동한 辛酉政變(1861)에도 재연되는지, 만약 그렇다면 어떤 모습으로 어떤 영향을 미치며 정변 주역들을 몰아가는지 살펴봄으로써, 기왕의 연구시각으로는 간취하지 못한 신유정변의 새로운 사실들을 찾아내고자 하였다. 신유정변은 신빙성을 확인하기 어려운 수많은 자잘한 에피소드류의 逸話 稗史 자료가 넘치는 사건이라서, 통상적인 정치사적 연구로는 현재의 연구의 벽을 넘을 수 없다. 그런 미세한 부분들은 기왕의 연구에 맡기고, 등장인물들의 의식과 행동을 패턴화해주는 집단의식 혹은 정치적 명분(cause)의 시각에서 관련 개별사건을 재조명하고, 그들이 사용하는 용어와 리토릭(rhetoric)을 과거의 유사한 사건에서의 경우와 비교함으로써, “皇太后非常大權”이라는 전통과 그 사유가 이 시기에도 명백히 영향을 끼치고 있음을 확인하고자 하였다. 정치적으로 소외된(이른바 북경파) 자들 사이에서 “太后臨朝”와 황태후의 동정에 관심과 언급이 급격히 증대되었다. 누구보다도 慈禧太后 자신이 先帝가 임명한 합법적 顧命大臣들을 타도할 수 있는, 황태후대권 발동에 가장 적합한 죄목과 명분을 직접 발굴하고, 냉정히 정변에 적용하였다. 그가 결심하고 기본계획을 입안하자, 醇群王과 恭親王이 최고의 참모와 실력행사자로서 대신들을 끌어들여, 결국 하루아침에 황태후를 앞세운 연합정권 수립에 성공하였다.

민화 "효제문자도(孝悌文字圖)"의 의미구조에 대한 연구

효제문자도는 유교적 사상을 백성에게 교화할 목적으로 궁중에서 만든 그림이었음에도 불구하고 민중속으로 퍼져나가면서 독특한 아름다운과 다양한 표현세계가 현대의 한국의 정체성을 찾는 시점에서 한국적인 미감을 주는 소재로써 매우 유의미하다고 볼 수 있을 것이다. 기본형은 그림의 화제와 텍스트를 충실하게 반영한 사건전개식의 설명적 SI로 하여금 그 의미에 밀착한 VI로 연동되고 있다. 상징형은 기본형의 변형으로 글자의 형태감은 유지하되, 텍스트의 내용을 압축한 시각적 상징물을 위주로 한 전형적 이미지이다. 결합형은 상징형을 기반으로 화조도, 산수화 등과 같은 그림형식이 등위적(等位的)으로 한 화면에서 서로 포치한 유형이다. 의장형은 최소한의 문자이미지만을 잔존시킨 채 그 내부 또는 주변을 디자인하는 장식적·기능적 VI의 효과에 치중한 유형이다. 해체형은 문자의 형태는 다소 잔존하지만, 오히려 VI의 한 요소로 기여하도록 해체되는 유형이다. 복합형은 서로 다른 유형을 복합하여 문자와 그림,사실과 추상, 실경과 허경 등의 경계를 자유롭게 넘나드는 이미지의 세계를 창출하고 있다. 효제도는 지배층의 하달식 교화(敎化)의도를 그들의 이념과 미감에 준수하여 만들어낸 이미지였으나,이를 수용하는 민간에서는 자신들의 관념과 욕구에 맞춰 번안하고 변형하여 다양한 이미지를 형성하였다. 문자도가 조선후기에 이르기까지 사회적인 변화와 문자도의 양식변천을 통해 분명하게 보여 지는 점에서 의의를 가지며 문자도가 현대 디자인에도 많은 영향을 주는 점을 검토할 필요가 있다.
