Vol.39 No.-

In this paper, a CMOS transconductor adequate to design high frequency active filter is designed. The designed transconductor has wide input linearity, high output impedance and tuning capability for minimizing characteristics variation after integrating. The results of PSPICE simulation using ORBIT company's 2㎛ CMOS n-well processing parameter shows that a ±3V input linear range, 300MHz cut-off frequency at -3dB, 8mW power dissipation for ±5V power supply.

Vol.18 No.-

Among the Shakespeare's complete works, there are 4 works which have been dealt with self-murders. They are Romeo and Juliet, Troilus and Cressida, Othelo, and Antony and Cleopatra. In this study, I am going to mention the self-murders of Antony and Cleopatra, according to the Book of Changes (the Chinese classic divinations). I dare say that Antony is symbolized of the element of earth that Roman soldiers won on land, while Cleopatra is symbolized of the element of water that she awallowed Antony in the Nile. But she throws away these two elements of earth, and water in this dirty world, and catches the elements of fire, and wind that she could'nt live without having Antony's love. All through this works, I found that the elements of earth, water, fire, and wind were deeply connected with the imagery of the snake of the Nile and they vere consisted of subconscious current of this works each other. According to the Book of Changes(the Chinese classic divinations)earth and water are mutually destructive, and absolutely same water and fire, fire and iron, iron and tree, and tree and earth are. In my poor opinions, I dare summarize that Antony's element of earth, and Cleopatra's element of water are mutually destructive and absolutely same Cleopatra's element of water, and her later element of fire, and both of them caused to be destroyed themselves.

Vol.34 No.-

The elliptic filters are optimal in the sense that the magnitude characteristic exhibits steepest slope at the cutoff frequency. The other characteristics such as delay and step response, however, are rather undesirable. In this paper a method is advanced that progressively improves the delay and time domain characteristics at the allowable expense of the steepness of the magnitude characteristics.

Vol.40 No.-

본 논문에서는 AAF(Anti-Aliasing-Filter), SMF(Smoothing-Filter), RCV SCF(Switched-Capacitor-Filter)로 구성된 RCV 필터를 설계하는 방법을 제시하여 입력신호와 동일한 신호를 전송 받을 수 있게 하였다. The processing to transform the PCM(Pulse-Code-Modulation) signal into analog voice signal is accompanied with the high-frequency, the (sin x)/x and the amplitude distortion at the receive stage of voice signal telecommunication system. For this reason, there is necessity for Rcv(Receive) filter to compensating as being remove the components induced in the transform processing. In this paper, we proposed the design the design method of RCV filter block consisted of AAF(Anti-Aliasing-Filter, SMF(Smoothing), and RCV SCF(Switched-capacitor-Filter) to reconstruct the same signal as input signal. The designed RCV filter by the proposed method was in accord with specification in view of the results simulated on SPICE and SCANAP, and layouted by Mosis Cmos 2-um design rule for integrated circuits.

Vol.4 No.-

In this study, I attempt to illustrate some of the grammatical uses of the verbs(Present, Past, Present Perfect) between Shakespeare and Modern English through his several works. In my opinion, I think that SHALL and WILL in Shakespeare's age are quite different from those of Modern English. They had not today's complicated rules of volitional and non-volitional, Interrogative and Declarative. The results obtained in this study are as follows: 1. In the Present, Shakespeare uses "he comes." "she makes.", contrary to Chaucer uses "he cometh." "she maketh.". 2, In the Past, Strong Verbs of modern English were Weak Verbs, contrary to many Weak Verbs of Modern English were Strong Verbs. "weaved"(P.P Richard Ⅱ. Ⅳ.Ⅰ. 229) "holp"(Cymbeline, Ⅴ.Ⅴ. 442) 3. In his age, instead of the Past Perfect, the Past was used. Such used are too many to take the examples These errors are arose. (Comedy of Errors, Ⅴ.Ⅰ. 391) He hath wrote this.(King Lear, Ⅰ.Ⅱ. 93) 4. In Shakespeare, in case subject is plural, verb doesn't shortened s. Thy beauty and thy years full well befits. Sonnet, Xii. 3 5. The use of shall have 3 kinds of meanings in his age. a) is distined to; Men shall deal unadvisedly sometimes. -Richard Ⅲ,Ⅳ.Ⅳ. 293 b) answer of the subordinate; K. HEN. Desire them all to my pavilion. glo. We shall, my liege. -Henry Ⅴ,Ⅳ. ⅰ. 27-8 c) Certainty in-future. and if I die, no soul shall pity me. -Richard Ⅲ.Ⅴ.ⅲ. 202 6. The use of will have 3 kinds of meanings in his age. a) The 1st person which speaks for the volitional in modern English has the meaning of none-volitional in his age. I will live to be thankfull to thee for't. -Twelfth night, Ⅳ.ⅱ. 88 b) Will in the second person expresses order. You'll leave your noise anon, ye rascals. -Henry Ⅷ,Ⅴ.Ⅳ.Ⅰ c) Will in the 3rd person means the volitional of Subject. Your niece wiil not be seen: or if she be, it's four to one she'll none of me. -Twelfth Night,Ⅰ.ⅰ. 24-6 7) The uses of shall and will in the Interrogation Sentence hasn't established in his age. If Caesar hide himself, shall they not whisper "Lo! Caesar is afraid"? -Julius Caesar, Ⅱ. ⅱ. 100-1

Vol.16 No.6

Outdoor ads such as billboards, banners or posters frequently appears in street maps of FPS games. In this paper, we propose a method for the automatic placement of outdoor advertising in the city area of FPS games. Outdoor ads are from real world products or enterprises and they are managed in a server computer. If the ads data are updated, the advertisements are automatically placed again without modifying source codes. When placing ads, we utilize the real world location of the game player regarding commercial spheres of ads and service types of real world shops. We evaluate priority scores for the available ads based on the collected real world properties and higher priority ads are preferentially placed on the map. The proposed ad placement method makes the game players feel affinity for the placed ads and also it increases the advertising effect.

      • Wordsworth

Vol.6 No.-

I think, in my opinion, Wordsworth's view of nature has been much discussed and studied by the scholars who majored in Wordsworth, but there has been scarcely discussed and studied on his morals and religious views. In this study, I attmept to study some of their different natural views and their morals between Wordsworth and Arnold through their several works after reading the Youth of Nature, Prelude, and Scholar Gypsy. the items obtained in this study are: ① Wordsworth was the poet about nature and mysticism on the contrary, Arnold was the only poet in the beautious feelings. The reason is that as Garrod says, Wordsworth's nature was the loving visions of Marguerette, Arnold's lover, who was dreamed of so ofter by him. ② In the prelude, the mutual relatives between nature and human minds mean that when men love nature, nature itself loves men. Strictly speaking, the prelude is a study of the working of nature upon this mysterious mind, or, more strictly, of the interaction of nature and mind. ③ He was to make man better by opening to them the sources of an inalterable well-being:to make them free, in a sense higher than political: by showing them that the sources are wthin them, and what no contrivance of man can permanently enancipate narrow-natures and deprived mind. His politics were always those of a poet, circling in the larger orbit of causes and principles, careless of the transitory oscillation of events. ④ Wordsworth who was brought up in the Anglican church, and educated in the christian teaching, showed his absolute religious view and morals all through his works. Loving nature, loving men, loving himself are his works. Loving nature, loving men, loving himself are his nature as well as his religious views with his morals. ⑤ I think, neither Arnald has such a view of nature as Wordworth has nor he has such a religious view as Wordsworth has. On the contrary, In Arnold's Scholar Gypsy, there are the wonderings of the moderner's souls. No literary critics can deny that the wonderings of the moderner's soals are wondering in his Scholar Gypsy.

      • Milton

Vol.17 No.-

Throught all of the Milton's poetical works, I found that he had lost his temper in his poetical as well as religious affairs surrounding him, and all of his poetical activity surrounding him had been deeply rooted into the religious prophecy toward modern age. His Holy Bible and his classical works have been changed the important elements that determined his humanity. Through the comparative study of the Marrige of Heaven and Hell (Wlliam Blake), On Milton (T.S.Eliot) and Paradise Lost, Paradise Regained, Samson Agonistes (John Milton), I tried to find out that Milton's poetical works had been deeply rooted into the religious prophecy toward modern age. I am afraid to say that Blake wrote his poem in full of vision, meanwhile Milton wrote his poem using his Greek and Hebrew dualistic humanity and everywhere in his poetical works was seen their religious prophecy. All of the Milton's poetical activity that continued nearly 30 years in his whole life was how to solve a fundamental problem, modernist's life. That is to say, through his religious prophecy, he tried to grasp the key of modernist's soul. I dare say that the dual humanity that he had had was not Milton's own fantastic idea, but all modernist's own humanity. When the Restoration began, Milton had gone blind. Besides this, disappointments, defeats, dishonours, and revenges were alway attacking him every where he met. It was at this time that his greatest poetical works, Paradise Lost, Paradise Regained, Samson Agonistes published. Through his greatest three works, I found out two phases of his literary life. The one is one of his literary phase felt in the bitterness of religious disillusion, the other is one of his literary phase created by strenuous will. His idealistic humanity may have felt the bitterness of disillusion, but cannot have collapsed easily, for his religious prophecy were deeply rooted into all his works.

Vol.15 No.-

        C. H. Herford says that Adonais is the writer of Hyperion in his Cambridge History of English Literature. That is to say, it seems to my knowledge that Shelley's Adonais is none other than Keats' Hyperion. Through this comparative study, I tried to quote 15 similar examples from both two poetical works between Adonais and Hyperion, and find out their immortalities from both two greatest poets. From the following 15 examples, I tried to find out their similarities of both poets. -see the number of quoted poems in subject and conclusion- (1) "dewy" in both poems means refreshing. (2) "music" in both poems means the common consciousness which is symbolized. (3) Adonais has "a silver lyre", but hyperion has "a golden lyre". The music which Adonais gave a performance was "magic tone" whose prelude held all envy, hate, and wrong, but the music which Apollo gave a performance was "new tuneful wonder". The words of "magic tone" seem to define to me that Adonais is far beyond criticism, because Adonais indicates Keats. (4) Shelley wrote "that power" in Adonais, but Keats wrote "an ancient power" in Hyperion. I think, there is not only the parallel similarities between them, but also both of them means love's power. (5) Shelly wrote "loveliness", while Keats wrote "loveliness new born". What is meant between them? I think that there is some sybolisms between them that have been symbolized succeeding new thoughts with old thoughts for a background when the perishing Titan and Appollo is going to appear. (6) I think that Goddess Mnemosyne who had fought in order to rescue Appollo in Hyperion was none other than " the one Spirit" in Adonais, and she who had announced Appollo's arrival beforehand was the very "plastic stress" in Adonais. (7)-(8) Mnemosyne called Apollo "loveliness new born". How did Appolo become a King who was born newly How was Apollo become the new universal conquorer who had been ruined by Titan's destruction? Here young Apollo hasn't his self-consciouness to determine himself. It he supernatures his self-consciousness, he will get his immortality. He tries to get his immortality, in conflicting his agonies, and contradictions. At last, he gets his own immortality, "the loveliness new born". (9-A)-(9-B)-(9-C) Shelley called it "lovellness", while Keats called it "loveliness new born". The quoted poem of (9-C) has the same similarities as (8) has. On the contrary, the quoted examples of (9-A) and (9-B) have thoughts which are quite different from Hyperion's. In other words, the quoted poems of (9-A) and (9-B) hasn't had any physical experiences that Hyperion had been shown on himself. Perhaps he was deeply influenced by Plato's ideolodgy. (10) There is great struggle between "love and life" (manner cares and interests). Here, the beauty between Apollo and Adonais is quite same. (11)-(13) Adonais' poetical expressions of (11), (12), and (13) are similar to Hyperion's. (14)-(15) I think, it is true that Adonais has been suggested and projected by Keats' poetical works. When Shelley read Keats' immortality in his Apollo, and the great situations which Keats himself had developed, he realized the truth that he could have flown by the wings of morals.
