이 글은 지금까지의 고구려 벽화고분 묵서 연구를 시기별로 정리한 뒤, 연구 쟁점과 향후 과제를 검토한 것이다. 그동안 고구려 벽화고분의 묵서 연구는 墓誌 분석을 통한 피장자의 국적과 정치적 위상에만 연구가 집중되어왔다. 묘지를 제외한 다른 나머지 묵서들 역시 상당히 연구가 진척된 것처럼 보이지만, 대부분 간단한 정보제공의 단계에 머물러 있었다. 최근 주목되는 몇몇 방제들도 무덤과는 단절된 채 고구려 정치사를 설명하는 자료로만 활용되었다. 이는 벽화고분의 묵서가 무덤과의 연계 없이 단순히 文字史料로만 소비되어왔다는 것을 의미한다. 이에 무덤과 묵서의 관계 속에서 묵서의 기능을 추적해야 한다는 견해를 피력하였다. 또한 벽화고분 내 묵서의 기능과 대상자에 대한 연구가 전혀 이루어지지 않았음을 지적하면서, 기존의 관점을 극복할 수 있는 방법론을 모색하였다. This article summarizes the studies of Goguryeo mural tombs by period and reviews the research issues and future tasks. Until now, research on the ink writing of Goguryeo mural tombs has been focused only on the nationality and political status of the deceased through analysis. The rest of the books, except for the cemetery, also seemed to have progressed considerably, but most of them remained in the stage of providing simple information. Recently, some of the most notable control systems were cut off from the tomb and used only as data explaining Goguryeos political history. This means that the mausoleum of the mural tomb has been consumed simply as a literary history without connection with the tomb. Accordingly, he expressed the view that the function of the stay should be tracked in the relationship between the tomb and the stay. In addition, while pointing out that no research has been conducted on the function of the ink writing and the subject in the mural tomb, he considered seeking a methodology that can overcome the existing perspective and expanding data.

특집 : 평화와 통일의 사건사; 남북정상회담과 남북관계 -소중한 "추억"과 잊혀진 "기억"-

남북관계사에서 두 차례의 남북정상회담만큼 극적이고 전환적인 사건은 찾기힘들다. 사건사 입장에서 1,2차 정상회담의 성사배경, 합의내용, 협상과정, 정상회담 이후 남북관계 등을 종합적으로 서술하고자 한다. 정상회담의 성사배경으로는 1차는 당시 2000년의 정세가 남한의 햇볕정책, 북한의 권력승계 이후 적극적 대외관계 개선 의지, 미국의 대북개입정책이라는 삼박자가 맞아떨어진 점을 들 수 있다. 2차의 성사배경은 2007년 2.13 조치로 북핵문제가 진전된 상황이 정상회담을 가능케 했음을 지적할 수 있다. 1차 정상회담의 결과물로서 6.15 공동선언은 상호 체제인정과 평화공존에 토대한 남북간 평화와 화해와 협력의 실질적 토대를 마련했다는 의미를 갖고 2차 정상회담의 산물인 10.4 정상선언은 6.15 공동선언을 계승발전시켜 한반도 평화와 군사분야 및 북핵문제에서 진전된 합의를 도출했고 서해평화협력지대를 통해 경협과 평화의 병행을 가능케 했다는 의미를 갖는다. 두 차례의 정상회담 모두 실제 협상과정의 특징은 김대중 대통령과 노무현 대통령이라는 협상 당사자의 의지와 능력이 중요한 성공요인으로 작용했고 특히 솔직함과 진실성이 합의도출에 긍정적으로 기여했다. 정상회담 이후 남북관계의 공통된 특징은 발전을 위한 진통의 과정으로 요약할 수 있다. 특히 남북관계의 화해협력 진전에도 불구하고 남남갈등은 또다른 부작용으로 자리잡았고 정권교체로 인한 정상회담의 그림자 지우기는 정상회담에 대한 소중한 추억을 잊혀진 기억으로 만들고 말았다. 다시 정상회담의 추억을 현실로 이끌어 내야 할 것이다. In the history of inter-Korean relations, it is hard to locate a more dramatic and transformative event than the two inter-Korean summits. In this article, the historical background, agreements, and the negotiation process of the two summits and the ensuing North-South relations after the summit will be thoroughly depicted. As the background of the first inter-Korean summit in 2000, the political situation during that time was favorable due to South Korea`s sunshine policy, North Korea`s enthusiastic position to improve its foreign relations, and the United States` intervention policy that went hand in hand. As for the second inter-Korean summit in 2007, it was made possible from the progress made in the North Korean nuclear issue after the February 13 agreement was signed earlier that year. The first summit resulted in the June 15 Joint Declaration that acknowledged the peaceful coexistence of two governments and laid the foundation to promote peaceful reconciliation and cooperation. The outcome of second summit was October 4 Joint Declaration, which pledged to uphold and advance the June 15 declaration and reached agreements on military and nuclear issues to secure peace on the Korean peninsula. As a consequence of the event, the North and the South agreed to create a peace and cooperation zone in the West Sea, to promote both peace and economic cooperation between the two nations. The most critical factor behind the successful negotiation process was the enthusiasm and the competence of the Presidents Kim Dae-jung and Roh Moo-hyun. In particular, their honesty and sincerity is evaluated to have positively contributed in facilitating negotiations and agreements. Following the inter-Korean summits, the road toward the development of inter-Korean relations was an agonizing process for both the North and the South. Despite the advancement in the North-South relations, domestic conflict otherwise known as the South-South conflict and the recent political shift is are creating antagonistic environment that is even erasing the positive memories from the summit. It is critical to bring back the cherished memory from the summit and realize that vision once again.

경제협력의 확산효과가 평화를 증진시키고 공동체 통합을 이뤄낸다는 낙관적 전망이 바로 기능주의 통합의 요체인 바, 이에 입각한 대북포용정책은 한반도 평화 달성과 북한변화에 의한 공동체 통합이라는 기능주의의 목표 달성과 관련해 일정한 성과와 한계를 동시에 보이고 있다. 즉 군사적 신뢰구축의 증진과 함께 북핵보유와 간헐적 군사충돌을 막지 못했고 또한 북한의 개혁개방 조짐에도 불구하고 여전히 본질적 체제변화는 미흡함을 부유럽과 달리 정전체제의 불안정성에 노출되어 있고 상호 이질화가 심한 분단체제의 남북관계에서는 기능주의의 성과가 단기간에 전면적으로 나타나기 어려울 수밖에 없다. 따라서 한국적 기능주의가 성공하고 대북포용정책이 실질적으로 한반도 평화 증진과 북한 변화를 도모해내기 위해서는 이를 제약하는 한반도적 현실을 고려한 추가적 노력이 필요하다. 이른바 한국적 기능주의의 성공을 위해서는 대북포용정책에 의해 한반도 평화정착과 북한의 도발방지에 최소 목표를 설정하고 북한 변화와 점진적 공동체 형성은 최대 목표로 분리해서 접근하는 것이 보다 현실적일 수 있다. 또한 기능주의적 접근이 대북정책의 핵심이자 본령임은 두말할 나위가 없지만 성공적인 평화 정착과 북한변화 및 한반도 통일을 이루기 위해서는 다양한 이론적 접근이 시도되어야 한다. 다층통치체제론, 정부간주의, 신 현실주의, 구성주의 등의 보완과 결합을 통해 기능주의의 이론적 재구성을 고민해 봐야 한다. The key notion of functionalist integration theory is based on an optimistic prospect that the spillover from economic cooperation will promote peace and community integration. Along the same lines, the engagement policy toward North Korea embodies such principles of functionalism, of advancing peace on the Korean peninsula and community integration through changes in North Korea. However, the engagement policy encompassed both successes and failures. It was inadequate in promoting military trust-building and preventing nuclearization and sporadic armed clashes from the North. It was also found to be ineffective in prompting fundamental changes in the regime despite the recent moves towards opening up and reform. Unlike Europe, North and South Korea is exposed to instability and mutual heterogeneity from the extreme case of division system, making it difficult for outcomes of functionalism to be observed on a short period of time. In order for Korean functionalism, in conjunction with peace on the Korean peninsula and change in the North Korean regime to be actualized, the realities of the Korean peninsula must be fully understood and incorporated. Therefore, it will be a wiser choice to take a more realistic approach, to divide the goals of the engagement policy into minimum and maximum; through establishment of peace settlement and prevention of military provocation first and gradually proceed to the ultimate goal of promoting change in North Korea and community formation. Undoubtedly, the functionalist approach is the essence of North Korea policy but to successfully realize peace settlement, changes in North Korea and reunification, plurality of theoretical approaches must be attempted, including multi-level governance, intergovernmentalism, neo-realism, and constructivism; to integrate and supplement to reconstruct the functionalist theory.

알렉산드르 강은 자신이 이 세상에 존재하면서도 보이지 않는 인간인 것처럼, 자기이면서 자기 자신에 속해 있지 않는 존재라는 사실을 인식하며 창작을 하는 작가이다. 그것은 그가 처한 특수한 환경에 의해 형성된 것이다. 때문에 그가 자신의 창작 속에서 가장 경계하는 것은 자신의 운명이 자기를 배제하고 타자에 의해 결정될 수도 있다는 우려이다. 그것은 살아있으면서도 주위의 모든 것이 나의 것이 아닌 타자의 것으로 둘러싸여 있고, 그 가운데서 나의 목소리는 들리지 않는 절박한 상황을 말하는 것일 수 있다. 알렉산드르 강은 이러한 자신의 상황을 구소련권에 거주하는 고려인들의 처지에 빗대어 말하고 있다. 때로는 러시아어로 “고려사람(Коре Сарам)이라 부르는 이들을 알렉산드르 강은 따분한 골목에 살고 있는 사람들이라고 대답한다. 이들 “우리는 어쩔 수 없이 영원함에 초점이 맞춰져 있기 때문에 강제이주를 당한 역사적 순간부터 더 이상 공간 속에 사는 것이 아니라 시간 속에 살고 있다”라고 말한다. 이처럼 현실과 거리를 둔 알렉산드르 강의 시각 속에는 친부(親父)의 부재로 인한 마음의 공백이 자리 잡고 있다. 그것은 그에게 있어서 비관적 결핍으로 설명될 수 있다. 아버지가 부재하는 알렉산드르 강은 모든 서류의 부칭 난을 언제나 공백으로 남겨두어야 하는 운명 속에 살아야 했다. 그것은 그의 존재의 공백과도 연관된다. 아버지의 부재라는 절망적 상황은 작가로서 풀어야 할 커다란 화두이기도 하다. 아버지의 부재를 현실적으로 해결할 수 있는 물리적 대안이 불가능한 상태에서 그는 창작을 통해 아버지의 부재를 극복해볼 수 있는 수많은 시도를 해보고 있다. 그는 자신의 이러한 절망적 상황을 극복하는 과정 속에서 자신을 우뚝 솟아나게 만들 방안을 찾아내기에 이른다. 그것은 그의 작품 속에 드러나 있는 다양한 형태의 변신을 시도해보는 것이다. 그것은 예술적 행위 속에서 자신의 정체성을 찾으려는 시도이기도 하다. 그의 소설가적 미학은 바로 그러한 시도 속에 담겨 있는 것이다.

Microsatellite 마커를 이용한 대왕바리(Epinephelus lanceolatus) 친어 집단의 가계도 분석 효율

현재 IUCN의 취약 등급인 대왕바리(giant grouper, Epine-phelus lanceolatus) 친어의 효율적인 관리 시스템 구축을 위한 기반연구로서 기 개발되어 있는 동종의 microsatellite 마커를 이용한 가계도 분석 효율을 조사하였다. 대왕바리 친어32마리를 8개의 microsatellite 마커로 분석한 결과 총 52개의 대립유전자가 검출되었으며, 기대치 이형접합율은 0.663, 근친교배계수는 0.011로 조사되어 현재 확보된 대왕바리 친어는 유전 다양성이 비교적 잘 유지되고 있었다. 하지만 유효집단 크기가 35로 추정됨으로써 지속적인 친어 확보의 필요성을 보였다. 해당 마커를 이용한 동일 유전자형 출현확률은 무작위 집단에서 6.85×10-11 그리고 한쪽 부모의 유전자형 확보 및 양친의 유전자형이 확보된 상태에서의 부권 부정률은 각각 0.00835, 0.00027로 나타났으며, 주좌표분석 결과 친어의 유전자형은 중복되지 않았다. 따라서 본 연구에 이용한 8개의 microsatellite 마커로도 유전자형 데이터베이스를 기반으로 한 대왕바리 친어 관리 시스템 구축이 가능할 것이며, 이를 활용한 유전 다양성이 높은 자손 생산 및 유전적으로 유사한 개체의 중복 확보를 방지할 수 있어 친어 확보의 효율성을 높일 수 있을 것이다. Giant grouper (Epinephelus lanceolatus) is a endangered species considered as a vul-nerablegrade-organism in the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) red list. As a fun-damental baseline study for establishing a giant grouper broodstock management system, the effici-ency for parentage analysis was evaluated by using microsatellite makers previously available in this species. The eight microsatellites generated a total 52 alleles from 32 individuals, the mean expected heterozygosity was 0.663, and mean inbreeding coefficient was 0.011, consequently suggesting that the present broodstock has retained the high level of genetic diversity. However, our analysis also recommended the collection of more brood fish for more stable brood line, since the estimated value of the effective population size was proven to be 35. The average probability of identity was 6.85×10-11. NE-2P and NE-PP of paternity non-exclusion probabilities were 0.00835 and 0.00027, respectively. As the result of principle coordinate analysis, the genotype of broodstock was not overlapped, suggesting that the management system of giant grouper based on eight selected microsatellite markers might be effective, although further validation with extended number of brood fish might also be needed in future. Data of present study could be a useful basis to avoid the unwanted selection of broodfish that possess close genetic relationship with current broodstock, and consequently to establish effective broodstock management system allowing the production of progeny with high genetic diversity.
