음향 작동기를 위한 투명한 xGnP/PVDF/xGnP 그래핀 복합재료 필름의 계면 내구성 및 음향 특성

음향작동기의 응용으로, CNT, ITO와 xGnP로 코팅된 PVDF 나노복합재료의 계면접착 내구성과 전기적 특성을 평가하였다. CNT, ITO와 xGnP의 고유 전기적 특성으로 인하여 xGnP로 코팅된 나노복합재료가 CNT, ITO 경우보다 다소 낮은 전기저항을 나타내었으나, 모두 양호한 음향특성을 보여주었다. 나노복합재료의 계면 내구성은 정적 접촉각 시험을 통해 미처리 CNT와 플라즈마 처리된 CNT 그리고 플라즈마 처리된 PVDF간의 표면에너지, 접착일, 그리고 퍼짐계수를 평가하여 계면 내구성과의 상호 관련성을 확인하였다. 음향 작동기로서 xGnP 나노복합재료의 최적의 작동성은 시편의 곡률반경, 코팅정도를 달리하여 음향 측정기를 사용하여 음향특성을 측정하였다. 나노재료의 고유의 전기적 특성으로 인하여 xGnP가 CNT나 ITO보다 음향작동기로서 더 적합함을 알 수 있었다. 곡률반경이 약 15도일 때 가장 적합하며, 코팅두께에 따라 음향특성이 차이가 나지만 투명도도 좋으면서 음향특성도 우수한 음향 작동기를 제작할 수 있었다. Interfacial durability and electrical properties of CNT, ITO or xGnP coated PVDF nanocomposites were investigated for acoustic actuator applications. The xGnP coated PVDF nanocomposite exhibited better electrical conductivity than CNT and ITO case due to the unique electrical property of xGnP, and this nanocomposite also showed good sound characteristics. Interfacial adhesion durability between either neat CNT or plasma treated CNT and plasma treated PVDF were measured by static contact angle, surface energy, work of adhesion, and spreading coefficient tests. The optimum acoustic actuation performance of xGnP coated PVDF nanocomposite was measured using sound level meter with changing radius of curvature and coating conditions. As compared to CNT and ITO, the xGnP was known as more appropriate acoustic actuator due to the characteristic electrical property. It is the most appropriate condition when the radius of curvature is 15 degree. Although sound characteristics were different with various coating thicknesses, it is possible to manufacture transparent actuator with good sound quality.

The soft palate of carcinoma limited to the uvular region is infrequent among oropharyngeal cancers. The oropharynx regulates swallowing and speech through dynamic motions. Failure to reconstruct after surgical resection of the oropharynx structure can lead to permanent velopharyngeal insufficiency. Therefore, suitable reconstruction is important in establishing proper functional outcomes while maintaining oncological safety. We present a case of a 66-year-old male who was diagnosed with oropharynx cancer limited in the uvula accompanied by lymph node metastasis. After surgical resection, reconstruction was performed with the united arrangement of bilateral palatal mucomuscular flap and superiorly based posterior pharyngeal flap. There was no aspiration or reflux after feeding and epithelialization completely occurred after 1 month postoperatively. We report a successful case that the reconstruction with the local flap described above could preserve proper oropharyngeal function after primary surgery in small-sized oropharyngeal cancer.
미세-작동기를 위한 전기방사 CNT/PVDF 나노섬유 기반의 탄소 복합재의 기계적 및 전기적 특성 평가

CNT를 포함하는 전기방사된 PVDF를 작동기 제조의 소재로 사용하였다. 기계적, 전기적특성과 함께 작동기 성능을 평가하기 위해 전기화학적 환경 내에서 전기화학 및 작동기 거동을 조사하였다. 전기방사된 시트의 특징 중 하나인 유연함을 가지며 분산이 잘 되어 접촉면이 많은 이점이 있기 때문에 작동기 제작방법으로 적합하다고 생각되었다. 전기방사는 여러 가지 요인들로 방사형태가 각각 다르게 나타났다. 본 연구에서는 콜렉터를 드럼형태를 사용하여 방사된 나노섬유의 방향성을 가지게 하였으며 형태를 확인하기 위해 전자현미경을 통해 나노섬유가 정렬된 형상을 확인하였다. 전자침 X-ray 미세분석기를 사용하여 PVDF내에 CNT가 함침 되어 나노섬유가 정렬 된 상태를 확인하였으며, 이러한 형태가 미치는 기계적, 전기적 물성에 영향을 평가하기 위해 인장시험을 통해 인장강도와 전기 저항도를 측정하였다. 정렬된 방향의 나노섬유 시트가 정렬의 직각 방향의 시트보다 상대적으로 기계적 그리고 전기적 물성이 좋게 나타났다. 전기방사된 CNT/PVDF 나노섬유 시트가 작동기로 사용 되었을 때 캐스팅으로 제작된 PVDF 시트의 작동기보다 좋은 효율을 확인하기 위해 전기화학적 환경 내에서 작동기 시험을 진행하여, 작동기 효율과 전기적 용 량을 측정하였다. 전기방사된 CNT/PVDF 나노섬유 시트는 CNT와 PVDF간의 접촉면이 많기 때문에, 우수한 작동성을 나타내었다. The electrospun PVDF containing CNT was made for fabricating materials of the actuator. The electrochemical and their actuating movement were evaluated for the actuator performance in the electrochemical environment. The actuator (which was fabricated by electrospinning) had some advantages, i.e., good dispersion and flexible properties. In the electrospinning process, the final product would have different forms based on different essential factors. In this work, electrospun nanofibers were aligned by using the drum-type collector, and the morphology was identified via the field emission-scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM). The uniform dispersion of CNT in PVDF nanofiber was observed by electron probe X-ray micro-analysis (EPMA) test. The results of tensile strength and electrical resistivity provided the aligned state. The electrospun CNT/PVDF nanofiber sheet on the aligned direction showed better mechanical and electrical properties than the case of the vertically aligned direction. The efficiency and electrical capacities of electrospun CNT/PVDF nanofiber sheets were compared with the cast PVDF sheet for actuator application. Electrospun CNT/PVDF nanofiber sheet exhibited much better the case of actuator performance than cast neat PVDF actuator, due to the excellent electrical connecting areas.

This study explores reading fluency among elementary school students considering language level and family income(low SES). Forty eight students from 1st to 3rd grades participated in two paragraph reading tasks. Half of the children were from low income family and half of the children had low lexical knowledge. Reading fluency as in the number of correctly read syllables per minute, the total error frequency and error types were used to compare group differences. There were significant differences in the number of correctly read syllables per minute between two income groups and two language groups. There was a significant difference between low income group and non-low income group in total number of errors only when children"s lexical knowledge were low. There were no group differences in error types of repetition and omission. Substitution and insertion error seemed to reflect the total error pattern. These results imply the importance of early screening and early involvement for children with low lexical knowledge from low income family. Monitoring and early intervention will support these children"s reading development.
