        하지불안증후군을 경험하는 혈액투석 환자를 위한 하지복합운동 프로그램 적용 효과

        Purpose: This experimental study with nonequivalent control group and pre/post-tests aims to investigate the effects of a complex leg exercise program on severity of restless legs syndrome, sleep quality, depression, and physical performance in patients with maintenance hemodialysis. Methods: Patients in the experimental group were provided with the leg exercise program three times a week for eight weeks, a total of 24times, through watching videos during hemodialysis from August 1, 2017 to October 25. The experimental group and control group consisted of 22 people each. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, x<sup>2</sup> test, Fisher's exact test, and independent t-test utilizing SPSS/WIN 22.0. Results: After providing with the leg exercise program, these were level of restless legs syndrome and depression were significantly decreased in the experimental group (t=2.79, p=.032; t=0.53, p=.036, respectively). However, sleep quality and physical performance did not have significant difference between the two groups (t=0.02, p=.947; t=1.74, p=.957, respectively). Conclusion: A complex leg exercise program appears to be beneficial in improving restless legs syndrome and depression in maintenance hemodialysis patients with restless legs syndrome.

        놀이중심교육을 위한 바깥놀이의 의미와 활성화 방안 탐구

        본 연구의 목적은 놀이중심교육을 위한 바깥놀이의 의미와 활성화 방안을 탐구하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 2019년 7월 말부터 8월 사이에 사립 유치원에 재직 중인 교사 10명을 대상으로 개별면담을 실시하였으며, 9월 첫째 주부터 3주간 면담 전사 자료 를 질적 연구 방법으로 분석하였다. 연구결과 놀이중심교육에서 바깥놀이가 갖는 의미는 3가지 측면으로 범주화되었다. 첫 번째는 바깥놀이 공간이 주는 특성으로, ‘비구조적 놀이가 발생하는 공간’, ‘규칙, 규제로부터 자유로운 공간’, ‘예상치 못한 흥미 로운 상황이 발생하는 공간’이다. 두 번째는 바깥놀이에서의 유아들이 보이는 놀이행동 특성으로, ‘주도적으로 놀이하는 유아들’, ‘함께 놀이하는 유아들’이다. 세 번째는 바깥놀이에서 유아들이 느끼는 정서로, ‘즐거움과 재미 만끽하기’, ‘발산하며 해방 감 느끼기’이다. 놀이중심교육을 위한 바깥놀이 활성화 방안은 교사 내적인 노력 차원에서 ‘안과 밖 넘나들기’, ‘관망하기가 아니라 함께하기’, ‘가르치기에 대한 불편함떨쳐내기’가 도출되었다. 또한 외부적 지원 차원에서는 물리적 환경 개선과 바깥놀 이의 다양한 사례 제공을 요구하였다. 본 연구 결과는 유아교육기관의 바깥놀이 활성화 및 놀이중심교육의 다각적 실천을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다. The purpose of this study was to explore the meaning and revitalization of outdoor play for play-based education. To this end, individual interviews were conducted with 10 teachers in public and private kindergartens between late July and August 2019. In addition, qualitative research was conducted on interview transcription data for three weeks from the first week of September. As a result, the meanings of outdoor play in play-based education were categorized into three aspects. First, the outdoor play space was characterized by ‘the space where unstructured play takes place’, ‘the space free from rules and regulations’, and ‘the space where unexpected and interesting situations occur’. Second, young children s play behaviors in outdoor play were characterized by ‘leading the play and playing together . Third, the emotions that young children feel in outdoor play were ‘enjoying pleasure and having fun’, and ‘Feeling liberated, emanating myself’. In order to revitalize the outdoor play for education-centered education, the internal efforts of teachers included Integrating Inside and Outside , playing together rather than observing , and eliminating discomfort for teaching . In addition, in terms of external support, it was required to improve the physical environment and provide various cases of outdoor play. It is hoped that the results of this study can be used as basic data for revitalization the outdoor play of the early childhood education institutions and for the multilateral practice of the play-based education.

        3, 4, 5세 유아의 도형인식능력에 관한 연구

        본 연구의 목적은 만 3, 4, 5세 유아들의 기본 도형 인식 능력을 밝히고 유아들이 도형을 인식하는 기준은 무엇이며 이는 연령에 따라 어떠한 차이가 있는지를 밝히고자 함에 있다. 연구 참여자는 만 3, 4, 5세 유아 90명이고 유아들과의 개별면담을 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 그 결과, 첫째, 유아들은 원 과제의 성취율이 가장 높았으며, 다음으로 사각형이며, 삼각형 과제에서 가장 어려움을 보였으나 도형인식에 대한 연령 간 차이는 유의미하지 않게 나타났다. 그리고 정형화된 모양의 기본도형에 비해 수학적으로 관련 없는 특성들에 변화를 준 비정형화된 모양의 도형 변별에 더 큰 어려움을 보였다. 둘째, 유아들은 도형을 변별하는 기준에 있어서 대부분 시각적 반응을 보였으나, 속성에 근거한 반응 또한 나타났으며 이는 연령이 증가함께 따라 증가되었다. The main purpose of this research was to determine three- to five-year-old pre-schooler` recognition of basic geometric shapes, the criteria they use to distinguish members of a shape class and whether or not those criteria change in relation to age. Participants were 90 children aged three to five. Data were gathered from individual interviews conducted with participants. The results of this study, first, pre-school children are easily able to recognize of circle, square but fail to distinguish triangle. There was no significant difference in the children`s recognition of geometric shapes among the age groups but it was found that the children were relatively more successful in classifying the typical examples of the triangle, square and circle, than the atypical examples containing non-defining attributes. Second, when children were asked to give reasons for their selections in the three classification tasks, most gave a visual response. However, the property responses were also showed and the number of the property responses increased as age increased.

        예비유아교사의 음악 관련 경험에 따른 음악적 자아개념과 음악교수효능감에 대한 연구

        본 연구는 예비유아교사의 음악 관련 경험에 따른 음악적 자아개념과 음악교수효능감의 차이를 알아보고, 음악적 자아개념과 음악교수효능감에 영향을 미치는 변인들을 확인하고자 하였다. 이에 서울과 경기도에 위치한 전문대학교의 3년제 유아교 육과에 재학 중인 285명을 대상으로 음악 관련 경험, 음악적 자아개념, 음악교수효능감에 대한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS WIN 24.0을 사용하여 t-test, 회귀분석을 하여 결과를 도출하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 대학 이전에 음악경험이 있고 음악회를 연중 1회 이상 방문하며 음악 관련 취미가 있는 예비유아교사들은 그렇지 않은 교사들보다 음악적 자아개념의 정도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 대학 이전에 음악 경험이 있고 음악회를 연중 1회 이상 방문하며 음악 관련 취미가 있고 현장실습 경험이 있는 예비유아교사들은 그렇지 않은 교사들보다 음악교수효능감의 정도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 개인적 취미는 예비유아교사의 음악적 자아개념을, 현장실습 경험은 예비유아교사의 음악교수효능감을 가장 많이 설명하는 변인 으로 밝혀졌다. The purpose of this study was to investigate the difference between pre-service early childhood teachers’ musical self-concept and the music teaching efficacy according to the experiences related to music, and to identify the variables affecting the musical self-concept and the music teaching efficacy. The survey was conducted on 285 students in the three-year early childhood education departments of colleges in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do for their music experience, musical self-concept, and music teaching efficacy. The collected data were analyzed by t-test and regression analysis using SPSS WIN 24.0. The results of the study were as follows: First, pre-service teachers who had music experience before college, visited the concert more than once a year, and had music-related hobbies had a higher degree of musical self-concept than those who did not. Second, pre-service teachers who had music experience before college, visited the concert more than once a year, had music-related hobbies, and had the experiences in the field practice had higher level of music teaching efficacy than those who did not. Third, the variables that most explain the musical self-concept and music teaching efficacy are found to be the music-related hobbies and the experiences in the field practice.

        Angiopoietin-2가 조골세포와 파골세포의 성장과 활성에 미치는 영향

        The present study was undertaken to determine the possible cellular mechanism of action of angiopoietin-2 in bone metabolism. The effects on the osteoblasts were determined by measuring 1) cell viability, 2) alkaline phosphatase (ALP) activity, 3) gelatinase activity, and 4) nitric oxide production. The effects on the osteoclasts were investigated by measuring 1) tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase (TRAP)(+) multinucleated cells (MNCs) formation, and 2) resorption areas after culturing osteoclast precursors. Angiopoietin-2 treatment showed a significant increase in both the viability and ALP activity of osteoblasts. Angiopoietin-2 increased the activity of gelatinase and nitric oxide production. In addition, angiopoietin-2 decreased the osteoclast generation induced by macrophage-colony stimulating factor (M-CSF) and receptor activator of NF-kB ligand (RANKL), and inhibited osteoclastic activity in (M-CSF)-dependent bone marrow macrophage (MDBM) cell cultures. Taken these results, angiopoietin-2 may be a regulatory protein within the bone marrow microenvironment.

        Phytoecdysteroid가 조골세포와 파골세포의 성장과 활성에 미치는 영향

        Ecdysteroids are known as insect molting hormone. At the same time, ecdysteroids and plant ecdysteroids (phytoecdysteorids) reveal beneficial effects on mammal. The present study was undertaken to determine the possible cellular mechanism of action of phytoecdysteroids in bone metabolism. The effects on the osteoblasts were determined by measuring cell proliferation, alkaline phosphatase (ALP) activity, and gelatinase activity. The effects on the osteoclasts were investigated by measuring tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase (TRAP)(+) multinucleated cells (MNCs) formation after culturing osteoclast precursors. Phytoecdysteroid treatment showed a increase in ALP activity of osteoblasts. Phytoecdysteroid increased the activity of gelatinase. In addition, phytoecdysteroid decreased the osteoclast generation induced by macrophage-colony stimulating factor (M-CSF) and receptor activator of NF-kB ligand (RANKL) in (M-CSF)-dependent bone marrow macrophage (MDBM) cell cultures.         Baicalin이 조골세포의 생성 및 활성에 미치는 영향

        Baicalin is a flavonoid compound isolated from the medicinal plant Scutellaria baicalensis. It is known to affect multiple biological functions, including of antibacterial, anti-viral, anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects. Baicalin can inhibit nuclear factor-kappaB activation. It has been reported that some flavonoids possess the effects of bone metabolism. The present study was undertaken to determine the possible cellular mechanism of action of baicalin in osteoblasts. The effects on the osteoblast were determined by measuring cell proliferation, cell viability, alkaline phosphatase activity, and osteoprotegerin secretion. Baicalin has no effect on the osteoblastic cell proliferation and cell viability. Baicalin treatment showed increase in alkaline phosphatase activity and osteoprotegerin secretion of osteoblasts. Thus, baicalin may be a regulatory protein within the bone.

        Effect of Pyrroloquinoline Quinone on Osteoclast Generation and Activity

        We examined the effect of PQQ, as a scavenger of superoxide, on osteoclast-like cell formation and on mature osteoclast function. To determine whether PQQ scavenges the superoxide, nitroblue tetrazolium (NBT) staining, which is a method to detect superoxide, was performed on HD-11 cells which are a chick myelomonocytic cell line having tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase (TRAP) activity in response to 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin $D_3\;[1,25(OH)_2D_3]$. Histochemical study of TRAP was also performed on HD-11 cells. PQQ inhibited the TRAP-positive multinucleated cell formation of chicken bone marrow cells was also examined. The addition of 20 ${\mu}M$ PQQ inhibited the formation of TRAP-positive multinucleated cell. When chicken osteoclasts were cultured on dentin slices, treatment of 20 ${\mu}M$ PQQ resulted in a significant decrease in dentin resorption by osteoclasts in terms of total resorption area and number of resorption pits. The present data suggest that PQQ, possibly as a scavenger of superoxide ion, inhibits the osteoclastic differentiation and bone resorption.

        Endothelin-1이 HOS 세포의 증식과 활성에 미치는 영향

        Endothelin-1 (ET-1) is a recently discovered potent vasoconstrictive peptide. It was first identified in vascular endothelial cells. ET-1 is a 21-amino acid peptide and elicits systemic effects such as stimulation of the production of atrial natriuretic peptide and release of aldosterone and corticosterone. In this study, to examine the role of ET-1 in the bone metabolism, effect of ET-1 on the proliferation and activity of osteoblastic cells was studied using HOS cells as osteoblast model. ET-1 dose-dependently increased the cell proliferation as determined by cell counting and MTT reduction assay after 48hr treatment. Alkaline phosphatase activity was inhibited by ET-1 and showed significant inhibition by 50 and 100 nM ET-1. ET-1 increased NBT reduction by HOS cells dose-dependently showing that ET-1 may increase the superoxide production by osteoblasts. Nitrite concentration in the media of HOS cell culture without cytokine stimulation was negligible and unaffected by ET-1 after 48hr treatment. Finally, after collection and concentration of conditioned media, gelatinase activity produced by HOS cells was determined by zymography. HOS cells can produce and secrete the gelatinase (gelatinase A type as determined by molecular weight of about 65,000) into culture media, however, ET-1 had no effect on the gelatinase activity. These findings suggest that ET-1 may have diverse effects on the proliferation and differentiation of osteoblasts, therefore, it may play an important role in bone metabolism.
