        소엽 (Perilla frutescens var. acuta)의 화장품 천연소재 응용을 위한 생리활성 기능 검증

          In this study, in order to apply Perilla frutescens which is a kind of herb cultivated in Korea to the natural materials of cosmetics, the Perilla frutescens"s physiological activities function in enzymology and its antibacterial activity against skin resident flora were researched.<BR>  As a result of testing electron donating ability, at over 500ppm both water and ethanol extracts of Perilla frutescens showed relatively high donating ability by more than 70%. And as a result of measuring SOD like activity, both water and ethanol extracts showed the effect by more than 80% at 5,000ppm and the like activity showed dose dependent increase. From the test of inhibitory effect of tyrosinase, both water and ethanol extracts showed insufficient inhibitory rate. As a result of antibacterial activity test, water extract showed clear zone against staphylococcus epidermidis as 9.3mm at 0.5mg/disc and 11.8mm at 1mg/disc and ethanol extract showed clear zone of 11.6mm at 1mg/disc.<BR>  From the above results, it was confirmed that Perilla frutescens being a kind of herb has a sufficient potentiality applying itself to industry and also the Perilla frutescens can be utilized as cosmetics natural materials.

      • 치매 대상자 및 가족 케어를 위한 캡스톤 디자인 기반 보건 ․ 복지 융복합 교과목 개발

        본 연구는 지역사회의 치매 대상자 및 가족의 문제를 해결하기 위해서 사회복지, 간호가 융복합적으로 협력하여 개입 및 관리하는 것이 효과적일 것이라는 전제하에 다학제적 캡스톤 디자인 교과목을 개발하고자 수행되었다. 이를 위해 혼종모형(Schwartz-Barcott & Kim, 2000)을 일부 적용하여관련 문헌의 조사 및 분석을 통해 주요 속성을 식별하였으며, 치매환자를돌보는 현장 전문가 1명을 면담하여 관련자료를 수집하고 분석하였다. 캡스톤 디자인 교과과정의 주요 목적과 치매대상자 케어를 위한 보건복지 융복합전문가가 갖추어야 할 핵심역량을 5개 범주 30가지로 도출하였으며, 이를바탕으로 치매 대상자 및 가족 케어를 위한 보건복지 융복합 캡스톤 교과목을 개발하였다. 이를 통해 치매 대상자 및 가족 케어를 위한 현장 중심형 수업의 활성화, 지역사회 기관과의 연계, 지역사회 내 치매 가족에 대한 봉사등의 효과를 거둘 수 있으며, 이 수업의 결과 생산된 산출물은 학생들의포트폴리오에 포함되어 학생들의 취업에도 이바지할 것으로 기대한다. The purpose of this study is to develop the captone design based- multidisciplinary curriculum, for the cooperative intervention and management of nursing and social welfare would be effective for helping people with dementia and their families in the community and solving their problems. To accomplish the above-mentioned purpose, the hybrid model was partially applied. The characteristics of dementia were discovered through the literature research and analysis, and the datum about the problems of people with dementia and their caregivers were gathered and analysed through the interview with a professional worker in a nursing home. As a result, the main purposes of the capstone design curriculum and the core competencies which the multidisciplinary professionals in dementia areas should have were derived, and based on this, the multidisciplinary capstone design curriculum for people with dementia and their families was developed. This curriculum would be helpful to vitalize the field-based lesson, to link actively classes with the community agencies, and to serve families with dementia patients in the community. In addition, the outputs which students will produce by this curriculum would help with students’ portfolio for their employment. Finnish case will be a positive model for solving the social integration problems facing Korean society.

        보문: 치자와 삼백초 열수추출물의 항산화능 및 콜라겐 합성능

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of Gardeniae fructus water extract (GFWE) and Saururus chinensis water extract (SCWE) on the antioxidative and collagen synthetic abilities. The contents of total polyphenol in GFWE and SCWE were 66.1 mg/g and 53.5 mg/g, respectively. The contents of total flavonoid in GFWE and SCWE were 34.5 mg/g and 28.7 mg/g, respectively. Electron donating abilities of GFWE, SCWE and BHT (positive control) showed a dose response relationship and they were 24.6%, 21.3% and 82.5% at 1,000 ppm, respectively. GFWE and SCWE have potent free radical scavenging activity even though showing lower value than that of BHT. In human dermal fibroblasts, cell growth activities of GFWE and SCWE were more than 90% in all the measured concentrations. Thus, the maximum permissible levels of GFWE and SCWE in human dermal fibroblasts were confirmed to be more than 200 ppm. TGF-β1 (5 ng/mL) increased type-1 procollagen protein production in cultured human dermal fibroblasts by 127%. GFWE and SCWE increased the procollagen protein production by 34.5% and 33.9%, respectively, at the concentration of 100 ppm.

        연령별 국내 자생 한방 화장품에 대한 인식 및 흑축을 활용한 색소침착 관리 효과에 대한 연구

          This study was designed for researching the recognition and treatment behavior of Korean herb cosmetics of college women and middle-aged women, and effect on the pigmentation using heuk-chuk. It was selected for investigating 92 college women and 88 middle-aged women in the kungbuk area by making up a question for researching the recognition and treatment behavior of Korean herb cosmetics. The collected data are analyzed using Independent samples t-test of SPSS/pc+.<BR>  The results of the study are as follows:<BR>  1. The difference of general subjects of college group and middle-aged group by degree of life(p<0.05) was not founded, but watching time of TV(p<0.05) and favorable program(p<0.05) were founded.<BR>  2. On the recognition and treatment behavior of Korean herb cosmetics of college group and middle-aged group, the middle-aged group has better impression than college group.(p<0.05)<BR>  3. On the effect on the pigmentation using heuk-chuk, it comes out whitening effect.

        인체피부섬유아세포에서 녹차,백차,홍차 열수추출물의 콜라겐 합성능 비교 연구

        This study was conducted to evaluate the collagen synthetic abilities of water extracts of green tea (GT), white tea (WT) and black tea (BT) in human dermal fibroblasts. In MTT assay, the maximum permissible level for GT, WT and BT was over 200μg/mL, and that for EGCG was 50μg/mL. In the experiment of type-I procollagen synthetic ability, TGF-β1 (positive control) increased it by 179% (p/0.001) at the concentration of 5 ng/mL, compared to the control group. At the concentrations of 12.5, 25, and 50μg/mL, EGCG increased it by 49.3, 80.1 (p/0.01), and 141.6% (p/0.001), GT increased it by 8.3, 48.1, and 98.5% (p/0.01), WT increased it by 10.3, 38.6, 110.4% (p/0.05), and BT increased it by 89.5 (p/ 0.01), 96.9 (p/0.01), and 114.5% (p/0.01), respectively. The order of high to low sequence for the collagen synthetic ability was EGCG¤BT¤WT and GT. It was conformed that GT, WT and BT had high collagen synthetic abilities, and they could be a useful functional natural source for the anti-wrinkle cosmetic materials.

        보문: Hairless 마우스에서 천궁 열수추출물의 피부장벽 및 염증 완화 효과

        To investigate the alleviative effects of Cnidium officinale water extract (COWE) on inflammation and skin barrier damage, both the irradiation of UVB and the application of squalene monohydroperoxide (Sq-OOH) to the backs of hairless mice were performed for 4 weeks. And at the same time experimental materials were applied topically. The skin erythema indices for the positive control (PC, 0.01% retinoic acid) and experimental (E, COWE) groups were lower than that of the control (C) group. Whereas both the lipid and water capacities for the PC and E groups were higher than those of the C group. Epidermis and dermis of the C group were remarkably thickened in comparison with the PC and E groups. Relatively much less number of inflammatory cells, including lymphocytes and neutrophils were found in dermis of the PC and E groups compared with the C group. Lipid lamellae of the C group were broken severely, showing an irregular arrangement and lipid content was much reduced. Whereas those of the PC and E groups were almost intact with a regular arrangement, that were similar to that of the N group. Taken the results all together, it was confirmed that COWE could be effective natural herbal material for the alleviation of inflammation and skin barrier damage in hairless mice skin that were induced by UVB irradiation and Sq-OOH application.
