      • 朝鮮朝 中期 抵抗文學 : 권필의 소설을 중심으로

        There were political, social and economic disorders in the middle period of 'Chosun' dynasty because of the agression of Japanese from 1592 to 1599. And popular world began to have selfrealization in front of the critical crisis of the world. The rise of popular consciousness brought about the collapse of the fendal organization of human standing. "Chusang Jun" written in this period shows the new technique disposing the unreality and accidental plot and gaining the reality and the necessity of the plot. Reality of the "Chusang Jun" increases aethetic effect in accordance with its tragic structure. Abstracts of this thesis are following. 1."Chusang Jun" disposed the unrealistic, fantastic aspects of the contemporary fictions where as "Choichuck Jun" and "Woon Yong Jun" showing the tragic plot as, "Chusang Jun" contained the unreality. The hero of "Chusang Jun" is not a heroic feature but a common man and this shows the unity of style. The unity of style increases the reality of "Chusang Jun" 2.The aspects of conflict in "Chusan Jun" can be classified in the two. One is the love conflict between 'Chusang' and 'Bido' and 'Sunwha'. In the process of this love conflict there appears the release of the human nature and their unhappy lives meeting tragic conclusion in the end of free love because of the feudal discrimination of human race and the social environment that parted two lovers. The other kind of conflict is the one between 'Chusang' and society. Social system that makes the man to pass the exam of the government to gain happiness and the external environment that make it impossible for him to keep on falling in love with 'Sun Wha' have constructed the tragic structure. In this sense the reality of the contemporary society are reflected in the conflict structure of "Chusang Jun". "Chusang Jun" is ending with tragic situation. This tragic ending symbolizes the disorders of the contemporary society of 'Chosun' and the weakness of 'yang han' society.

      • 중국 돈황소설과 한국 고대소설의 비교 연구 : In Case of Dunwhuang Whabon Novels

        This study attempted to investigate the differances Between the formation and changes of the classical novels of Korea and those of China. The result is as follows. 1.Dunwhuang(敦煌) style of literature was started in and around Dunwhuang area, and formed through the early days of Dang(唐)-Odae(五代)-Song(宋) Dynasties sequentially. The core of Dunwhuang literature was Buddhistically natured, and Dunwhuang was located at somewhere on the Silk Roads. 2.Whabon novels were ramified from 'Byunmun'(변文) which is one of the 'Sul [說(講)(Kang)] Chang(唱)' styles. As Sul Chang(說唱) style of literature gradually changed from its original form to Sok Kang(俗講), the Buddhistic characteristics ware eliminated, and the sexually expressed essay style was added. 3.Korea and China have the same historical movement in the sense of the formation and pervation of descriptive literature. 4.Kajeonche novels(假전체), Sigio(時調), Kyunggi Style Lyrics(景幾體歌), and Pan Sori(판소리) were the unique genres that could be found only in Korean literature, not in China or Japan.

      • 家族史小說의 比較文學的 硏究 : 전통 가문소설과 외국 가족사소설의 비교

        The aim of this study is to compare common aspects and different aspects of some of Korean and foreign family history novels.Family history novel, in ice nature, appears in times of drastic social change.The bigger the social unstability becomes, the more family members stick to the confirmation of blood bond instinctively against the estrangement phenomenon between family members.This is proved by the appearance of western family history novels around the World War I and by the appearance of Samdae (Three Generations) in the later period of Korean occupation by Japan. Forced change of first name and secnod name, and abolishment of the use of Korean language by Japan aimed at eradication of Korean race, which became a menace to the idea of family and race in Korea.This was the direct cause which resulted in the combination of traditional family novel and foreign family history novel. Korean traditional family novel developed in the form of Jang(狀)→Jun(傳)→Lok(錄).In the 17th century some biographical novels were published in Korean language.In the later 18th century revision of clan geneology flourished along with the refreshment movement of family tradition by illustrious officials.Korean family novel were true to real life and monopolized by aristocrats only, an aristocratic literature.The family novel linked the classical novel to the new novel and at last developed into a river novel by mass production by Jun Ki Su. A professional study of family history novel was made by Choi Jae Suh, who indicated the idea of this genre and how to write it by a detailed analysis of Thomas Mann's Buddenbrooks (1901).Choi made a decisive contribution to the appearance of Daeha (A Great River) and he incessantly indroduced foriegn family history novel to Korea. Korean family history novel came into full blossom through definition of its identity.About Three Generations Han Yong Hwan commented as follows : "There are times when an aesthetic standard of literature is completed later than the production of literary works.This may be interpreted as "a phonomenon of estrangement" of Husserl in its aesthetic aspect.Gustave Flaubert's The Sentimental Education (1869) arid Yeom Sang Sup's Three Generations are the excellent exmaples of this view point." This phenomenon of estrangement throws a new light on Three Generations, which belongs to "resistance literature" category which enabled Koreans to overcome the Japanese occupation period.

      • 역사 속의 공상과학소설 유형연구

        소설가들의 상상력에 의한 기발한 착상들은 당시에는 전혀 엉뚱하지만 나중에는 대개 현실로 나타났다. 특히, 공상과학소설들에서 힌트를 얻은 과학자들은 그 기발한 발상을 바탕으로 끊임없이 연구를 하여 현실화 기켰던 것이다. 예컨데, 쥘 베르느의 <5주간의 기구여행> <해저 2만리> <땅속 여행>이 오늘날의 비행선, 잠수함, 지하철이 만들어진 것이다. 최근에 문제가 되고 있는 복제양 '둘리'에 의한 DNA조작은 앞으로 인간과 동물의 합성에 의한 '카이메라'를 예고하고 있으며, 더 나아가 식물인간, 곤충인간, 생명로봇까지 가능하게 하고 있다. 그렇게 되면 본래의 인간은 쇠퇴하고 괴상한 또 하나의 동물만 지구상에 남을지도 모른다. 그것은 이미 1895년에 나온 H. 웰즈의<타임머신>에서 이미 예고되어 있었던 것이다. 그렇다면 남는 문제는 무엇인가. 이렇게 만든 원인이 과학자였으므로 그 해결도 역시 과학자가 해결하지 않으면 안 된다. 그리고 그러한 빌미를 제공한 소설가들도 '해결책'에 대한 기발한 착상을 또한 제공해야 할 것이다.
