This paper discussed some issues of syntactic affixes in Korean Grammar, and it is summarized as follow. 6.1. Syntactic affixes discussed recently in Korean Transformational Grammar are the category to explain the function of all inflectional forms and some derivational forms. They must be explained not only in Transformational Grammar but also in all the theories of grammar. Then, we must focus the functions (grammatical informations) of syntactic affixes, not its structural position. 6.2. In the discussion of these issues, some of Korean Transformational Grammar have tried to alter the system of affix wholly. But this attempt has the problems in the historical nature of Linguistics and the generalization of the system of grammar. The functions of syntactic affixes can be explained with an established system of affix with trivial revision of its functional definition in Descriptive Linguistics. 6.3 I discussed the list of Korean syntactic affixes and the sentence structure having them, and it can be summarized as following: -i-(-이-) and -katad(같-) is stems, not syntactic affixes. -i(-이) in nop-i(높이), ppal-i(발리), kkeunimeup-i(,끊임없이) can be dealt with lexical affixes. -keori-(-거리-), -dae-(-대-) is not syntactic affix, and they can function as main verbs, on the analogy of bound verb -dae-(-대-). 6.4. Finally, I analyzed the syntactic and morphological informations of Korean syntactic affixes, in terms of Sadock(1991)'s Autolexical Syntax.
