        PREPROXIMITY, UNIFORMITY SPACES AND APPLICATIONS OF (E, L) FUZZIFYING MATROID

        In this paper, (E, L)-preproximity and uniformity spaces in matriod theory as a generalized to a classical proximity and Uniformity spaces introduced by Csaszar [1] is introduced. Re- cently, Shi [17]-[18] introduced a new approach to the fuzzifica-tion of matroids. Here introduce (E, L)-preproximity and unifor- mity spaces, Uniformity and strong uniformity on (E,L)-fuzzifying matroid space, Not only study the properties of this new notions, but it has been generated (E, L)-fuzzifying matroid Space from (E,L)-preproximity and uniformity spaces. Next to introduced (E, L)-preproximity continuous in (E, L)-fuzzifying matroid space and used it in more properties. Finally we solve combinatorial op- timizations problem via (E; L)-fuzzifying matroid space.

        The current research attempts to measure the level of the acceptance of the Blackboard System (BBS) during the Corona crisis, and whether this is one of the reasons for the low use of the BBS at Al-Jouf University. To achieve this, the technology accepting model in the time of crisis (TAMTC) has been proposed to measure the degree of acceptance by students, which was then applied to a random sample of 339 of such. The results show a high level of student acceptance, despite their lower use of the system. The research also highlights the importance of upgrading e-courses and that the discontinuation of exam disqualification of students is secondary to their poor course attendance.

        Realistic Evaluation of Reinforcement Bond Strength in Alkali-Activated Slag Concrete Exposed to Elevated Temperature

        Alkali-activated concrete (AAC) has attained great popularity since finding it as an alternative to Portland cement concrete due to its superior characteristics in terms of mechanical properties and durability, and its low negative environmental impact. This research investigated both experimentally and analytically the bond behavior between alkali-activated slag concrete (AASC) and steel rebars considering some important parameters (rebar diameter and development length-to-diameter ratio) before and after exposure to elevated temperature using beam-end bond testing technique. The obtained experimental results were compared with those obtained from applying the CEB-FIP model and the well-known available equations in the literature. A modified model was proposed for predicting the bond behavior of AASC. Results have showed that the CEB-FIP model provides more conservative values for bond strength compared to the experimentally obtained results which increases the safety level when estimating the bond strength for design purposes. The proposed modified model achieved a higher correlation with the experimental results than the CEB-FIP model at ambient temperature.

        In the paper [Y. B. Jun, B. Davvaz and A. Khan, Filters of ordered semigroups based on the fuzzy points, JIFS 24 (2013) 619-630]. Jun et al. discussed the notion of (∈; ∈ ∨q<sub>k</sub>)-fuzzy left (resp., right) filters as a generalization of the notion of (∈; ∈ ∨q)-fuzzy left (resp., right) filters of ordered semigroups. In this article, we try to obtain a more general form that (∈; ∈ ∨q<sub>k</sub>)-fuzzy left (resp., right) filters in ordered semigroups. The notion of (∈; ∈ ∨q<sup>δ</sup><sub>k</sub>)-fuzzy left (resp., right) filters is discussed, and several properties are investigated. Characterizations of an (∈; ∈ ∨q<sup>δ</sup><sub>k</sub>)- fuzzy left (resp., right) filter are established. A condition for an (∈; ∈ ∨q<sup>δ</sup><sub>k</sub>)-fuzzy left (resp., right) filter to be a fuzzy left (resp., right) filter is provided. The important achievement of the study with an (∈; ∈ ∨q<sup>δ</sup><sub>k</sub>)-fuzzy left (right) filter is that the notion of an (∈; ∈ ∨q<sub>k</sub>)-fuzzy left ( right) filter and hence an (∈; ∈ ∨q)-fuzzy left (resp. right) filter are special cases of an (∈; ∈ ∨q<sup>δ</sup><sub>k</sub>)-fuzzy left (resp. right) filter, and thus several results in published papers are becoming corollaries of our results obtained in this paper.

        Computational, kinetic, and electrochemical studies of polyaniline functionalized ZnO and ZnO-SiO2 nanoparticles as corrosion protection films on carbon steel in acidic sodium chloride solutions

        Two novel nanocomposites based on polyaniline functionalized ZnO and ZnO-SiO2 nanoparticles(ZnO@PANi and ZnSiO@PANi) were synthesized, characterized, and evaluated as protective films for steelpipelines in the pickling process at 25–55 C. The prepared nanocomposites were described using differentspectroscopic characterization methods including UV–vis, FTIR, DLS, XPS methods, and other physicochemicaltechniques including XRD, FESEM, and HR-TEM. The novelty of these films is in the fact thatthe ZnO and ZnO-SiO2 nanoparticles are functionalized by polyaniline which is electrochemically stablein acidic solution and has high conductivity. Electrochemical systems such as open circuit potentials(OCP), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), and potentiodynamic polarization (PDP) were utilizedto attain the kinetics and mechanistic findings of the corrosion protection route. The outcomes indicatethat the two fabricated ZnO@PANi and ZnSiO@PANi are efficient acidic corrosion inhibitors. Theprotection performance of ZnSiO@PANi (98.6%) was more pronounced at a dose (150 mg/L) thanZnO@PANi (92.3%) and individual PANi (83.4%) as achieved from PDP findings. The effect of temperatureand flowing conditions reinforces further the performance of both nanocomposites. Surface characterizationusing FESEM/EDS delivered more indication for the steel surface protection with the ZnO@PANi andZnSiO@PANi nanocomposites. Molecular modeling using DFT calculations and MC simulations supportedthe experimental findings. The binding energies of the compounds and Fe interface follow the order ofZnO@PANi > ZnSiO@PANi, which is in good agreement with the empirical results. An important suggestionof these results is the probability of substituting traditional toxic small molecules with cost-effectiveand non-toxic polymeric nanocomposites as protective films for use in the oil and gas industry.
