This paper describes an overview and research work related to web page segmentation. Over a period of time, various techniques have been used and proposed to extract meaningful information from web pages automatically. Due to voluminous amount of data this extraction demanded state of the art techniques that segment the web pages just like or close to humans. Motivation behind this is to facilitate applications that rely on the meaningful data acquired from multiple web pages. Information extraction, search engines, re-organized web display for small screen devices are few strong candidate areas where web page extraction has adequate potential and utility of usage

Background: Due to the increase in morbidity and mortality rate, cancer has become an alarming threat to the human population worldwide. Since cancer is a progressive disorder, timely diagnosis would be helpful to prevent/stop cancer from progressing to severe stage. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, most of the time, tumors are diagnosed with endoscopy and biopsy; therefore rare studies exist regarding the diagnosis of gastrointestinal (GIT) carcinomas based on tumor markers, especially CEA. Objectives: This study made a comparative analysis of CEA in admitted hospitalized stomach and colon cancer patients diagnosed as GIT with biopsy. Materials and Methods: In this study, a total of 66 cases were included. The level of CEA was determined in the blood of these patients using ELISA technique. Results: Out of 66 patients, the level of CEA was high in 59.1% of the total, 60.7% in colon cancer patients and 57.9 % in stomach cancer patients. Moreover, the incidence of colorectal and stomach cancer was greater in males as compared to females. Patients were more of the age group of 40-60 and the level of CEA was comparatively higher in patients (51.5%) with histology which was moderately differentiated, than patients with well differentiated and poorly differentiated tumor histology. Conclusions: CEA level was high in more than 50% of the total patients. Moreover, CEA exhibited higher sensitivity for colon than stomach cancer.

Combination of liquid-phase exfoliation and hydrothermal method has progressed in recent years mainly on production of 2D materials. In this study, graphene was successfully synthesized via combinatorial of liquid-phase exfoliation and hydrothermal method with the aid of various conductive surfactants perylene-3, 4, 9, 10-tetracarboxylate (PTCA), lithium perylene-3, 4, 9, 10-tetracarboxylate (LiPTCA) and sodium perylene-3, 4, 9, 10-tetracarboxylate (NaPTCA). The effect of the lithium (Li+) and sodium (Na+) cations toward the efficiency of the graphene exfoliation process and its electrical properties was thoroughly investigated. Based on the characterization techniques, it is revealed that NaPTCA is the ideal conductive surfactant to exfoliate graphene sheets. X-ray diffraction spectra verified that the Na+ cation certainly can enhance the exfoliation process by expanding the interlayer spacing. The lateral size of the graphene sheets with Na-PTCA surfactant was the smallest (4.17 µm) as observed from SEM micrograph. The maximum concentration of the graphene yield was achieved up to 0.151 mgmL−1 in NaPTCA surfactant alongside with excellent electrical conductivity of 746.27 Sm−1 and relevant specific capacitance of 129 Fg−1.
Mutable Encryption for Oblivious Data Access in Cloud Storage

Data privacy and access control policies in computer clouds are a prime concerns while talking about the sensitive data. Authorized access is ensured with the help of secret keys given to a range of valid users. Granting the role access is a trivial matter but revoking user access is tricky and compute intensive. To revoke a user and making his data access ineffective the data owner has to compute new set of keys for the rest of effective users. This situation is inappropriate where user revocation is a frequent phenomenon. Time based revocation is another way to deal this issue where key for data access expires automatically. This solution rests in a very strong assumption of time determination in advance. In this paper we have proposed a mutable encryption for oblivious data access in cloud storage where the access key becomes ineffective after defined number of threshold by the data owner. The proposed solution adds to its novelty by introducing mutable encryption while accessing the data obliviously.

In this paper, we derive some generating relations involving Konhauser polynomials, Gauss, Humbert, Appell and Kamp$\acute{e}$ de F$\acute{e}$riet hypergeometric functions with the help of four general theorems on generating functions (partly unilateral and partly bilateral) of one and two variables.

A new composite material from epoxidized natural rubber (ENR-50) and polyaniline have been successfully prepared. Aniline which was polymerized in the presence of dodecylbenzene sulfonic acid (DBSA), then added to ENR-50 for the preparations of ENR-50/Pani.DBSA composite films. The hydrogen bonding which contribute to the formation of ENR-50/Pani.DBSA composites was observed in FT-IR, UV-Visible and DSC. It showed hydrogen bonding interactions between the epoxy groups in ENR-50 and the amine groups in Pani.DBSA. The morphologies of the prepared materials were investigated by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). SEM and conductivity measurements revealed that the percolation threshold is at 2.5 w% of Pani.DBSA content. Atomic force microscopy (AFM) micrographs showed that ENR-50 with 5 wt% Pani.DBSA addition has the lowest surface roughness. In addition thermogravimetric analysis indicates improved thermal stability at low Pani.DBSA content. DSC measurements revealed that Tg value increases with increasing Pani.DBSA, indicating that the formation of homogenous composite material. Nanoindentation results show that the hardness (H) and Young's modulus (Es) increased with higher addition of Pani.DBSA polymer.
