‘좀비사회’를 위한 기독교사회윤리적 제언 - 휴먼포비아를 넘어서 공감과 환대

본 연구는 현대를 좀비 사회로 진단하면서, 그 특징을 바우만의 액체근대론에기초하여 분석하였고, 그 윤리적 대안을 찾기 위해서 한국의 대표적 좀비 콘텐츠인 <킹덤>의 내러티브를 분석하였다. 이에 본 연구는 레비나스의 존재론적 모험과정을 통해서, <킹덤>의 주인공 이창의 존재론적 모험의 과정을 살펴보았다. 민중의 현실에 대한 이창의 ‘공감,’ 그리고 자신을 희생하면서 타자에게 다가가는희생에 대한 결단은 ‘환대’의 구체적인 실천이었다. 이러한 분석과 함께 본 연구는 좀비 사회에 만연한 휴먼포비아를 극복하기 위한 윤리적인 대안으로 공감과환대를 제시하였다. 공감에 대한 접근은 동아시아 문화의 서(恕) 개념을 살펴보았고, 환대에 대한 레비나스의 철학적 성찰과 그에 대한 데리다의 윤리적 의미를함께 고찰하였다. 끝으로 데리다가 주장한 무조건적 환대의 가능성을 찾기 위해서 리쾨르의 사랑과 정의의 변증법적인 의미를 고찰하면서, 이를 환대와 공감의변증법적 실천으로 해석하였다. While diagnosing the modern age as a zombie society, this study analyzed its characteristics based on Bauman’s liquid modernity. In order to find an ethical alternative, the narrative of <Kingdom>, a representative zombie content in Korea, was analyzed. This study looked at the ontological adventure of Lee Chang, the main character of <Kingdom>, through the ontological adventure process of Levinas. Lee Chang’s ‘sympathy’ for the reality of people and his determination to sacrifice himself to approach others was a concrete practice of ‘hospitality.’ Along with this analysis, this study presented sympathy and hospitality as an ethical alternative to overcome human-phobia prevalent in zombie society. For the approach to sympathy, the concept of Seo(恕) in the Ease-Asian tradition was examined, and Levinas’ philosophical reflection and Derrida's ethical meaning on hospitality were also considered. Finally, to find the possibility of unconditional hospitality as claimed by Derrida, the dialectical meaning of Ricoeur‘s love and justice was examined, which was interpreted as a dialectical practice of hospitality and sympathy.
