본 연구에서는 게임콘텐츠의 저작권 보호, 유통 및 관리의 효율화를 제공해 게임산업을 활성 화하는데 중요한 역할을 하는 게임 UCI 식별 메타데이터를 설계하였다. 설계 방법은 호환성을 위하여 국제표준인 메타데이터 매핑절차를 따랐다. 따라서 기존 9개의 요소로 구성되어 있는 UCI 메타데이터에 게임의 특성을 반영하여 3개 요소는 재정의하고, date, patch date, grade의 3개 요소는 추가하였다. 이렇게 설계된 게임 UCI 식별 메타데이터는 총 12개의 요소로 구성된 다. 이 결과를 전문가 인터뷰와 일반 이용자 설문을 통해 검증하였다. 향후 본 연구의 결과를 게임 UCI 식별 메타데이터 관리 시스템으로 구축하여 여러 기관들이 활용할 수 있도록 발전시 키고자 한다. I designed the game UCI identification metadata to enable the game industry to provide copyright protection of game content, the efficiency of the management and distribution. This was mapped with existing UCI metadata which is composed of 9 elements that are applied to international standards for interoperability. I redefined 3 elements and added 3 more elements for reflecting the characteristics of the game. So it is composed of 12 elements in total. The result is verified by the general user survey and expert interviews. And I will develope the game UCI identification metadata management system with the results of study to be utilized by game agencies.

기능성 게임을 위한 메타데이터 관리 시스템의 설계 및 구현

현재 가장 많은 관심을 받고 있는 분야 중의 한 가지는 바로 기능성게임 관련 분야이다. 또한, 기능성 게임 산업의 규모는 해마다 급속한 양적인 성장을 하고 있다. 기능성 게임의 효율적인 메타데이터 관리는 매우 중요 이슈이다. 따라서 우리는 효율적인 기능성 게임의 메타데이터 관리를 위한 통합 관리 시스템의 설계를 제안하다. 본 시스템은 인터넷을 기반으로 서비스가 제공되며, 기능성 게임 사용자들(일반 사용자, 개발자, 전문가, 메타데이터 관리자)은 제안된 시스템을 이용하여 새로운 메타데이터 정보 입력, 기존 메타 데이터 정보 검색, 검색 결과로 생성된 문서 파일들(HTML, XML, EXCEL, MS-WORD)을 자신의 로컬 컴퓨터에 저장하기 등의 작업들을 효율적으로 수행할 수 있다. One of the most interests is currently a field related with serious game. Also, the scale of serious game industry is rapid quantitative growth every year. For effective management of metadata of serious game is an important issue so that we propose design of integrated management system for effective management of metadata of serious game. The system provide a service based on internet. Users(general users, developers, experts and managers of metadata) of serious game who can carry out effectively works using proposed system such as new metadata information input, existing metadata information search, generated document files(HTML, XML, EXCEL, MS-WORD) as search results saving into their owns local computer system and so on.
