      • The Cluster Head Preferred Hierarchical Clustering Routing Protocol Based on G-Means in Wireless Sensor Networks

Tianshu Wang,Gongxuan Zhang,Xichen Yang,Yang Lv 보안공학연구지원센터 2015 International Journal of Future Generation Communi Vol.8 No.3

In hierarchical structures determined by traditional routing protocols of wireless sensor networks, clustering is not structured and the networks prone to generate scatters, leading to some nodes die quickly. So this paper presents a cluster head preferred hierarchical clustering routing protocol based on G-Means (GHPHC). It uses G-Means algorithm to detect each clustering structure, so that each cluster is Gaussian distribution and it avoids the generation of scatters. At the same time, the cluster head preferred algorithm proposed in this paper gives the corresponding weight for each node of all clusters, thus select a suitable cluster head node for every cluster. Experimental results show that compared to traditional routing protocols, the death rate of nodes in a wireless sensor network which uses GHPHC protocol is more slow, and has a longer life cycle.

Sampled-data Based Dissipativity Control of T-S Fuzzy Markovian Jump Systems under Actuator Saturation with Incomplete Transition Rates

        Tianshu Xu,Jianwei Xia,Xiao-Na Song,Zhen Wang,Hua-Sheng Zhang 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2021 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.19 No.2

In this paper, the topic of sampled-data based dissipativity control for Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy Markovian jump systems with incomplete transition rates and actuator saturation is addressed. First of all, by constructing an appropriate two-sided closed-loop function that captures the realistic information of sampling pattern, together with the free-matrix-based inequality approach, a sufficient condition is developed to ensure the considered systems to be strictly(Q,S,R)-γ-dissipative. Then, the corresponding mode-dependent sampled-data controllers are designed based on the given dissipativity condition. As a corollary, the controller design is presented for the system without disturbance. Furthermore, an optimization problem is investigated in order to maximize the domain of the attraction. Finally, simulation examples are offered to verify the feasibility of the results.

A Novel Method for Actuator Degradation Assessment Based on Improved Multifractal Analysis

        Sun Tianshu,Zheng Lin,Liu Jin,Wang Yinsong,Zhang Yu 대한전기학회 2023 Journal of Electrical Engineering & Technology Vol.18 No.2

In the process industry, actuators regulate the flow of process masses in response to instructions from a controller, which achieves the control objectives of the system. However, many factors cause the performance of the actuator to degrade. Therefore, it is of great significance to evaluate the actuator operating performance correctly for equipment maintenance and system optimization. In response, this paper designs an improved multifractal method based on statistical moment functions. And a set of indicators-based degradation assessment system is constructed. First, the time series collected from the actuator is divided into two different density zones, where evaluation indicators are established respectively to qualitatively describe the performance from different perspectives. Then, a degradation index calculated by weighted fusion is applied to quantitatively evaluate the dynamic degradation state of the actuator. Finally, the effectiveness and practicability of the method are experimentally verified through two field cases in thermal power units.

Driving forces and structural changes of China as a market provider for Korea An input-output analysis

Yongqi Feng,Tianshu Zhang 한국무역학회 2018 Journal of Korea trade Vol.22 No.3

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to provide a better understanding of the driving forces and structural changes of China as a market provider for Korea. This paper gives the answers for the following questions: How do China’s final demands trigger the growth of its imports from Korea? And what’s the impact of China’s final demands on the import in different industries? Design/methodology/approach – Based on the Multi-Regional Input-Output model and World Input-Output Table database, this paper constructs the non-competitive imports input-output (IO) table of China to Korea. According to this table, we can calculate the induced imports coefficient and comprehensive induced import coefficients of China’s four final demands for imports from Korea in the 56 industries in China. Findings – Among the four driving forces, the strongest one is changes in inventories and valuables. The impact of final consumption expenditure and fixed capital formation is much lower than that of changes in inventories and valuables, but they have a broader impact for the 56 industries. This paper finds out the China’s import induction of the final demands to Korea peaked in 2005 and 2010 and decreased greatly in 2014, so the position of China as market provider for Korea will no longer rise substantially, contrarily it will be in a steady state. Originality/value – First, this paper constructs the non-competitive IO table to analyze the market provider issues between two countries and provides practical ways and methods for studies on the issues of imports and market provider. Second, this paper investigates the different roles of four final demands on driving force of China as market provider for Korea and the structural changes of China as a market provider for Korea among 56 industries from 2000 to 2014.

Acupuncture for Osteoporosis: a Review of Its Clinical and Preclinical Studies

        Tian Yimiao,Wang Lili,Xu Tianshu,Li Rui,Zhu Ruyuan,Chen Beibei,Zhang Hao,Xia Bingke,Che Yiwen,Zhao Dandan,Zhang Dongwei 사단법인약침학회 2022 Journal of Acupuncture & Meridian Studies Vol.15 No.5

Acupuncture has gained growing attention in the management of osteoporosis (OP). However, a comprehensive review has not yet been conducted on the efficacy and challenges of acupuncture in preliminary research and clinical trials. Therefore, an extensive literature search was conducted using electronic databases, including PubMed (www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed), CNKI (www.cnki.net), and Web of Science, for studies published from the beginning of 2000 to the end of May 2022. Combinations of synonyms for OP, acupuncture, traditional Chinese medicine, clinical trial, preclinical study, and animal experiments were searched. A total of 290 papers were consulted, including 115 reviews, 109 clinical observations, and 66 preclinical studies. There is accumulating evidence to support the beneficial role of acupuncture in preserving bone quality and relieving clinical symptoms based on clinical and preclinical investigations. The top ten most commonly used acupoints are BL23, ST36, BL20, BL11, CV4, GV4, SP 6, KI3, BL18, and GB39. The underlying mechanisms behind the benefits of acupuncture may be linked with the regulation of the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal (adrenal) axis and activation of the Wnt/β-catenin and OPG/RANKL/RANK signaling pathways. In summary, strong evidence may still come from prospective and well-designed clinical trials to shed light on the potential role of acupuncture in preserving bone loss. Future investigations are needed to explore the potential underlying mechanisms, long-term clinical efficacy, and compliance of acupuncture in OP management.

Gallic Acid Ameliorates Cognitive Impairment Caused by Sleep Deprivation through Antioxidant Effect

        Pang Xiaogang,Xu Yifan,Xie Shuoxin,Zhang Tianshu,Cong Lin,Qi Yuchen,Liu Lubing,Li Qingjun,Mo Mei,Wang Guimei,Du Xiuwei,Shen Hui,Li Yuanyuan 한국뇌신경과학회 2023 Experimental Neurobiology Vol.32 No.4

Sleep deprivation (SD) has a profound impact on the central nervous system, resulting in an array of mood disorders, including depression and anxiety. Despite this, the dynamic alterations in neuronal activity during sleep deprivation have not been extensively investigated. While some researchers propose that sleep deprivation diminishes neuronal activity, thereby leading to depression. Others argue that short-term sleep deprivation enhances neuronal activity and dendritic spine density, potentially yielding antidepressant effects. In this study, a two-photon microscope was utilized to examine the calcium transients of anterior cingulate cortex (ACC) neurons in awake SD mice in vivo at 24-hour intervals. It was observed that SD reduced the frequency and amplitude of Ca2+ transients while increasing the proportions of inactive neurons. Following the cessation of sleep deprivation, neuronal calcium transients demonstrated a gradual recovery. Moreover, whole-cell patch-clamp recordings revealed a significant decrease in the frequency of spontaneous excitatory post-synaptic current (sEPSC) after SD. The investigation also assessed several oxidative stress parameters, finding that sleep deprivation substantially elevated the level of malondialdehyde (MDA), while simultaneously decreasing the expression of Nuclear Factor erythroid 2-Related Factor 2 (Nrf2) and activities of Superoxide dismutase (SOD) in the ACC. Importantly, the administration of gallic acid (GA) notably mitigated the decline of calcium transients in ACC neurons. GA was also shown to alleviate oxidative stress in the brain and improve cognitive impairment caused by sleep deprivation. These findings indicate that the calcium transients of ACC neurons experience a continuous decline during sleep deprivation, a process that is reversible. GA may serve as a potential candidate agent for the prevention and treatment of cognitive impairment induced by sleep deprivation.

The vertical distribution and temporal occurrence of three types of rice planthoppers in Shanghai

        Wang Dongsheng,Wu Xiangwen,Yuan Yongda,Zhang Tianshu,Shen Huimei,Du Xingbin,Teng Haiyuan,Chang Xiaoli 한국곤충학회 2022 Entomological Research Vol.52 No.1

In this study, we investigated the dynamic occurrence and vertical distribution of three types of rice planthoppers (Nilaparvata lugens, Sogatella furcifera, and Laodelphax striatellus) in Shanghai, China. Our results showed that S. furcifera and L. striatellus infested the lower part of rice plants in the early development stage, S. furcifera and L. striatellus inhabited every part of rice in the middle development stage, and L. striatellus and N. lugens formicated in the upper part of the rice plant in the posterior development stage. The populations of rice planthoppers were larger in July and September, Where more than 600 adult and nymphal planthoppers, per a hundred hills of rice, were found in late July, and out of the 600, the majority were the nymphs of S. furcifera and L. striatellus. S. furcifera was mainly found from July to October, L. striatellus during the rice development, and N. lugens after September, during which their maximal individual number, per a hundred hills of rice, was 480, 220, less than 50, respectively. In addition, our results showed that adult rice planthoppers were mostly observed from late August to mid-October with the highest population being found during mid to late September. The adult S. furcifera, L. striatellus, andN. lugens were mostly observed in August and September, from August to October, and past mid-September, respectively. Moreover, the number of adult L. striatellus that were sticking to yellow sticky card was significantly higher than that of S. furcifera and N. lugens.

      • An Improved Event Scenario Correlation Method for Multi-Source Security Log

Qianyun Wang,Shuyu Chen,Hancui Zhang,Tianshu Wu 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Security and Its Applicat Vol.10 No.2

Developing computer technologies and a network of persistently growing size put massive hosts and transmission devices in a vast network at increasingly higher risks. Log information of various devices can facilitate the detection of intrusion and attacks. Log information from a single data source is, however, with limitations. The analysis results cannot precisely reflect the current network situation if log information in a single data source is analyzed without correlation to analysis of log information from different data sources. To better demonstrate network situation, this paper proposes an improved event scenario correlation method for multi-source log analysis via researching on numerous existing data fusion methods and event correlation methods as well as integration of conventional event scenario correlation (ESC) method with fuzzy reasoning. Experimental results prove that the proposed method significantly reduces the False Positive rate (FP rate) and False Negative rate (FN rate) of security logs.
