        Enhancing Customer Loyalty in E-Commerce: The Role of Personalization Recommendation Systems and Flow State

        본 연구에서는 정보 제시, 시스템 상호 작용, 소셜 커뮤니티 기능의 역할에 초점을 맞춰 개인화 추천 시스템이 전자 상거래에서 고객 충성도에 미치는 영향을 조사합나다. 이러한 요소들이 플로 상태, 입소문(WOM), 재구매 의도(RPI)에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 살펴봅니다. 이 연구는 구조방정식 모델(SEM)과 500명의 응답자로부터 수집한 데이터를 SPSS와 AMOS를 사용하여 세 가지 개인화 측면이 모두 플로상태를 크게 향상시키고, 이는 다시 WOM과 RPI에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 사실을 발견했습니다. 시스템 상호작용은 WOM과 RPI를 직접적으로 향상시키는 반면, 정보 제공과 소셜 커뮤니티 기능은 이러한 충성도 측정치 중 하나에만 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났습니다. 플로 상태는 개인화 요소와 충성도 결과 사이의 관계를 매개합니다. 이러한 연구 결과는 전자 상거래 플랫폼이 고객 충성도를 높이기 위해 시스템 상호작용을 개선하고 소셜 커뮤니티 기능을 포함해야 함을 시사합니다. This study investigates the impact of personalization recommendation systems on customer loyalty in e-commerce, focusing on the role of information presentation, system interaction, and social community functions. It examines how these elements influence flow state, word of mouth (WOM), and repurchase intention (RPI). Using structural equation modeling (SEM) and data collected from 500 respondents in SPSS and AMOS, the study finds that all three personalization aspects significantly enhance flow state, which, in turn, positively affects WOM and RPI. System interaction directly boosts both WOM and RPI, while information presentation and social community functions influence only one of these loyalty measures. Flow state mediates the relationship between personalization factors and loyalty outcomes. These findings suggest e-commerce platforms should enhance system interaction and embed social community features to foster customer loyalty.

        Temporal and spatial variation analysis on nutritive salt of Hongze Lake

        This paper mainly focuses on the research of the monitoring data about the total nitrogen (TN), total phosphorus (TP) of ten monitoring points of Hongze Lake in 28 years. Our study adopts the technical methods such as difference comparison, correlation analysis, Mann-Kendall, etc. to analyze the statistical characteristics, regional differences, and temporal and spatial variation condition of ten monitoring points of Hongze Lake in 1986-2013 as well as the reason for the time and space variation of TN and TP. The results show that the TN and TP of Hongze Lake change dramatically during the period of 1994-2004. In all the monitoring periods, TN and TP of the HZ5, HZ6, HZ7, HZ8 monitoring points in the estuary surrounding the Huaihe River are the highest, which suggests that TN and TP of Hongze Lake should not be ignored for the pollution along the Huaihe River. The TN concentration in the core area is the highest, but that in the development control area is the lowest. In most of the years, TN concentration is higher than 2 mg/L, and the water quality is V class and poor V class water quality in China``s Environmental Quality Standards for Surface Water (GB3838-2002). TP concentration of the three areas is basically close, that is lower than 2 mg/L in most of the years, and the water quality is within the V class. The TN and TP concentration of Hongze Lake decreased and intensifying trend of eutrophication is controlled after 2004.

        Characteristics of registered studies for Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19): a systematic review

        Background: The World Health Organization characterized the Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) as a pandemic on March 11th. Many clinical trials on COVID-19 have been registered, and we aim to review the study characteristics and provide guidance for future trials to avoid duplicated effort. Methods: Studies on COVID-19 registered before March 3rd, 2020 on eight registry platforms worldwide were searched and the data of design, participants, interventions, and outcomes were extracted and analyzed. Results: Three hundred and ninety-three studies were identified and 380 (96.7%) were from mainland China, while 3 in Japan, 3 in France, 2 in the US, and 3 were international collaborative studies. Two hundred and sixty-six (67.7%) aimed at therapeutic effect, others were for prevention, diagnosis, prognosis, etc. Two hundred and two studies (51.4%) were randomized controlled trials. Two third of therapeutic studies tested Western medicines including antiviral drugs (17.7%), stem cell and cord blood therapy (10.2%), chloroquine and derivatives (8.3%), 16 (6.0%) on Chinese medicines, and 73 (27.4%) on integrated therapy of Western and Chinese medicines. Thirty-one studies among 266 therapeutic studies (11.7%) used mortality as primary outcome, while the most designed secondary outcomes were symptoms and signs (47.0%). Half of the studies (45.5%) had not started recruiting till March 3rd. Conclusion: Inappropriate outcome setting, delayed recruitment and insufficient numbers of new cases in China implied many studies may fail to complete. Strategies and protocols of the studies with robust and rapid data sharing are warranted for emergency public health events, helping the timely evidence-based decision-making.

      • High-Speed PIV Evaluation of Fuel Sprays under Superheated Conditions

        Spray structure, distribution, and atomization process of the superheated sprays are dramatically influenced by the degree of the fuel superheating. The fuel spray flow field can provide detailed information about such influence due to the fuel superheating. It is anticipated that the fuel spray flow field depends on the superheat degree, which is carefully examined using high-speed PIV in this study. The fuel droplet velocities are measured within the lower number density regions of the spray generated from a multi-hole injector. The spray structure is characterized by spray penetration, maximum spray width and spray angle derived from the spray laser-sheet images. These characteristics are correlated with the spray velocity vector field to analyze the driving force of the spray transformation. The results illustrate that, as the superheat degree increases, the spray velocities in both radial and axial directions vary dramatically accompanied by the unexpected transformations of the spray structure, such as transforming from separate plumes to a collapsed form. The superheat degree is the predominant factor influencing break-up, atomization, and structure of the superheated sprays.

      • Macroscopic Characterization of Flash Boiling Sprays using Laser Induced Exciplex Fluorescence from a Multi-Hole DI Injector

        Fuel temperature and the ambient pressure can dramatically influence spray characteristics such as the spray structure, spray penetration, and quantity of vaporized fuel. Higher fuel temperatures that occur in today`s direct-injection engines can reach superheated conditions, dramatically changing the spray due to flash boiling. In this paper, the spray structure and vaporization behaviors are examined for a multi-hole DI injector over a range of superheated conditions. Planer laser-induced-exciplex fluorescence (PLIEF) is used to characterize the spray, where fluorobenzene (FB) and diethyl-methyl-amine (DEMA) are added into n-hexane as vapor and liquid tracers, respectively. The temperature dependence of crosstalk signal intensity is examined using a quartz cell and necessary corrections are made to the spray image. The individual plumes from this multi-hole injector are determined to collapse with increasing superheat degree until the spray transforms into a single plume. The liquid component of the spray is more resistant to collapsing as comparing to the vapor component, where a vapor jet-like structure is formed near the centerline axis of the fuel spray once collapsed. The relative vapor quantity increases with fuel temperature in a near linear fashion until a step change is observed for the vapor signal when the two vapor plumes merge into a single structure.

      • Inhibition of Transient Receptor Potential Melastain 7 Enhances Apoptosis Induced by TRAIL in PC-3 cells

        Transient receptor potential melastain 7 (TRPM7) is a bifunctional protein with dual structure of both ion channel and protein kinase, participating in a wide variety of diseases including cancer. Recent researches have reported the mechanism of TRPM7 in human cancers. However, the correlation between TRPM7 and prostate cancer (PCa) has not been well studied. The objective of this study was to investigate the potential the role of TRPM7 in the apoptosis of PC-3 cells, which is the key cell of advanced metastatic PCa. In this study, we demonstrated the influence and potential function of TRPM7 on the PC-3 cells apoptosis induced by TNF-related apoptosis inducing-ligand (TRAIL). The study also found a novel up-regulated expression of TRPM7 in PC-3 cells after treating with TRAIL. Suppression of TRPM7 by TRPM7 non-specific inhibitors ($Gd^{3+}$ or 2-aminoethoxy diphenylborate (2-APB) ) not only markedly eliminated TRPM7 expression level, but also increased the apoptosis of TRAIL-treated PC-3 cells, which may be regulated by the phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase/protein kinase B (PI3K/AKT) signaling pathway accompany with up-regulated expression of cleaved Caspase-3, (TRAIL-receptor 1, death receptors 4) DR4, and (TRAIL-receptor 2, death receptors 5) DR5. Taken together, our findings strongly suggested that TRPM7 was involved in the apoptosis of PC-3 cells induced by TRAIL, indicating that TRPM7 may be applied as a therapeutic target for PCa.

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Bi<SUB>2</SUB>Se<SUB>3</SUB> nanoparticles (NPs) have attracted wide interests in biological and medical applications. Layer-like Bi<SUB>2</SUB>Se<SUB>3</SUB> with high active surface area is promising for free radical scavenging. Here, we extended the medical applications of Bi<SUB>2</SUB>Se<SUB>3</SUB> NPs further to <I>in vivo</I> protection against ionizing radiation based on their superior antioxidant activities and electrocatalytic properties. It was found that Bi<SUB>2</SUB>Se<SUB>3</SUB> NPs can significantly increase the surviving fraction of mice after exposure of high-energy radiation of gamma ray. Additionally, the Bi<SUB>2</SUB>Se<SUB>3</SUB> NPs can help to recover radiation-lowered red blood cell counts, white blood cell counts and platelet levels.       • An Optimized Motion Estimation Algorithm and Application in the FRUC System

        Based on the optimized three-step search algorithm. Combining threshold judgment as well as local full search, a more efficient motion estimation algorithm is proposed. The algorithm not only inherited the traditional three-step algorithm’s quick speed but also kept the advantages of a relatively small amount of calculation, besides it can avoid the local optimum problem in the three-step search algorithm (TSS). In addition, the algorithm combined with the threshold judgment and local full search algorithm, so it also maintains satisfactory visual quality. Comparing the algorithm with TSS and local full search algorithm (LFS). The algorithm has great performance in search points and peak signal-to-noise ratio. Experimental results show that compared with LFS, search points drop by 34.61% ~ 54.47% .While compared with the TSS, the search points only rise by 6.15% ~ 12.21%. The average PSNR of proposed Algorithm is 0.24dB higher than LFS and 3.30dB higher than TSS.

        Optically- and Thermally-Responsive Programmable Materials Based on Carbon Nanotube-Hydrogel Polymer Composites

        <P>A simple approach is described to fabricate reversible, thermally- and optically responsive actuators utilizing composites of poly(<I>N</I>-isopropylacrylamide) (pNIPAM) loaded with single-walled carbon nanotubes. With nanotube loading at concentrations of 0.75 mg/mL, we demonstrate up to 5 times enhancement to the thermal response time of the nanotube-pNIPAM hydrogel actuators caused by the enhanced mass transport of water molecules. Additionally, we demonstrate the ability to obtain ultrafast near-infrared optical response in nanotube-pNIPAM hydrogels under laser excitation enabled by the strong absorption properties of nanotubes. The work opens the framework to design complex and programmable self-folding materials, such as cubes and flowers, with advanced built-in features, including tunable response time as determined by the nanotube loading.</P><P><B>Graphic Abstract</B> <IMG SRC='http://pubs.acs.org/appl/literatum/publisher/achs/journals/content/nalefd/2011/nalefd.2011.11.issue-8/nl201503e/production/images/medium/nl-2011-01503e_0002.gif'></P>
