In this paper, we study the generalized Littlewood-Paley operators. It is shown that the generalized g-function, Lusin area function and $g^*_{\lambda}$-function on any BMO function are either infinite everywhere, or finite almost everywhere, respectively; and in the latter case, such operators are bounded from BMO($\mathbb{R}^n$) to BLO($\mathbb{R}^n$), which improve and generalize some previous results.

Bolted end plate connections for steel reinforced concrete composite structures

In order to improve the constructability and meanwhile ensure excellent seismic behavior, several innovative composite connection details were conceived and studied by the authors. This paper reports experimental results and observations on seismic behavior of steel beam bolted to reinforced concrete column connections (bolted RCS or BRCS). The proposed composite connection details involve post tensioning the end plates of the steel beams to the reinforced concrete or precast concrete columns using high-strength steel rods. A rational design procedure was proposed to assure a ductile behavior of the composite structure. Strut-and-tie model analysis indicates that a bolted composite connection has a favorable stress transfer mechanism. The excellent capacity and behavior were then validated through five full-scale beam to column connection model tests.

Based on the second generation wavelet and information entropy, in this paper, we recognize the partial discharge pattern using the second generation wavelet (SGWT) and adaptive BP. Firstly, feature extraction of discharge signals are obtained using the SGWT and information entropy. Then, the extracted features are feed into the training BP network. The learning algorithm employed the conjugate gradient methods and the adaptive adjustment to train the error for BP network. Finally, we get the optimum training network, and the simulation results verified the feasibility of the algorithm.
Novel Method to Improve the Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of 45 Steel

Aiming at the problems of poor hardenability and low mechanical strength of 45 steel after quenching and tempering atnormal pressure, 45 steel was quenched and tempered under high pressure. The microstructure of 45 steel after high pressurequenching and tempering was analyzed by optical microscope, scanning electron microscope and transmission electronmicroscope, its hardness and compressive strength were tested by hardness tester and electronic universal testing machine,and compared with samples treated by the same process under atmospheric pressure. The results show that uniform andcompact tempered sorbite can be obtained after high pressure quenching and tempering of 45 steel, and the precipitatedgranular carbides are finely dispersed, thus improving the mechanical properties of 45 steel. Under a pressure of 3 GPa,quenching at 900 °C for 15 min and 550 °C for 60 min tempering, the hardness and compressive yield strength of 45 steelwere 36.3 HRC and 971 MPa, respectively, which were respectively 25.17% and 20.77% higher than the corresponding valuesobtained with the same process under atmospheric pressure quenching and tempering. This work provides a new method toeffectively improve the mechanical properties of 45 steel.
An Improved Defect Detection Algorithm of Jean Fabric Based on Optimized Gabor Filter

Aiming at the defect detection quality of denim fabric, this paper designs an improved algorithm based on theoptimized Gabor filter. Firstly, we propose an improved defect detection algorithm of jean fabric based on themaximum two-dimensional image entropy and the loss evaluation function. Secondly, 24 Gabor filter bankswith 4 scales and 6 directions are created and the optimal filter is selected from the filter banks by the onedimensionalimage entropy algorithm and the two-dimensional image entropy algorithm respectively. Thirdly,these two optimized Gabor filters are compared to realize the common defect detection of denim fabric, suchas normal texture, miss of weft, hole and oil stain. The results show that the improved algorithm has betterdetection effect on common defects of denim fabrics and the average detection rate is more than 91.25%.
