A NiCo-metal organic framework (MOF) electrode, prepared using urea as a surfactant, was synthesized using a one-pot hydrothermal method. The addition of urea to the NiCo-MOF creates interstitial voids and an ultra-thin nanostructure in the NiCo-MOF, which improves its charge transfer performance. We obtained the optimal metal to surfactant ratio to achieve the best specific capacitance. The NiCo-MOF was employed as the working electrode material in a three-electrode system. Field emission scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, and Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy were employed to characterize the microstructures and morphologies of the composites. Cyclic voltammetry, galvanostatic charge-discharge, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy curves were employed to quantify the electrochemical properties of the electrodes in a 6 M KOH electrolyte.

<P>Mesoporous polymer-carbon composite (CMPEI/CMK-3) materials were successfully prepared by incorporation of a chelating polymer, carboxymethylated polyethyleneimine (CMPEI), into a mesoporous carbon (CMK-3) and for immobilization of Eu(<SMALL>III</SMALL>) ions, commonly used surrogates for radioactive Am(<SMALL>III</SMALL>) ions. After Eu(<SMALL>III</SMALL>) ions were loaded onto the CMPEI/CMK-3 composite, they were subsequently confined by incorporation of polypyrrole (ppy) into the mesopores of the composites. Ppy was prepared as soluble short-chain polymers using NO+ ions as oxidizing agents in a mildly acidic solution. These polymer chains were easily adsorbed on the walls of Eu-CMPEI/CMK-3 composites, efficiently immobilizing the Eu(<SMALL>III</SMALL>) ions. The use of a metal-free oxidizing agent, NO+, in mildly acidic conditions (pH 6) ensured the minimal loss of Eu(<SMALL>III</SMALL>) ions from the composites during polymerization. The resulting ppy/Eu-CMPEI/CMK-3 composites were characterized by electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction and N2 sorption analysis. The results from these characterizations commonly supported the conclusion that ppy was incorporated into the mesopores of the composites, altering the mesoporous features and reducing the pore volumes of the CMK-3 supports. Eu(<SMALL>III</SMALL>)-leaching tests showed that the presence of ppy layers in the composites could significantly improve the retention of Eu(<SMALL>III</SMALL>) ions. This study demonstrated that chelating polymer-based composites can be used for removal and long-term confinement of radioactive actinide species by properly optimizing polymer incorporation processes.</P> <P>Graphic Abstract</P><P>Polypyrrole has been introduced into the mesopores of Eu(<SMALL>III</SMALL>)-loaded chelating polymer-mesoporous carbon composites using a new oxidative polymerization. Purposes: The problem in the recent immigration policy and social policy changes for foreigners is that the preliminary analysis or research on the actual impact of the influx of foreigners has not been done enough in Korea yet.. This study is to examine the impact of the Korean health insurance finances on the influx of foreigners. Approach: This study analyzed the health insurance statistics for foreigners and overseas Koreans of the Health Insurance Corporation from 2013 to 2017. The data is the “Status of Health Insurance Premiums for Nationals, Foreigners, and Overseas Koreans from 2013 to 2017” submitted by the National Health Insurance Service to the Health and Welfare Committee during the 2018 National Audit Period. Findings: To summarize the analysis, first, the proportion of foreigners was only 1% of all subscribers (1.7% at work, 1.9% in regions) until 2017. Second, employees at work have a lower pay-to-pay ratio, and local subscribers have a higher pay-to-pay rate, regardless of nationality. Third, as immigrants are mostly concentrated in younger ages, they are healthy and use of hospitals is relatively low. Fourth, in terms of gender distribution, there are many women of childbearing age due to marriage immigration among foreign local subscribers, and more men use hospitals than workers who have a high proportion of males due to childbirth. In conclusion, the impact of immigration on health insurance finances is not large, and has a positive effect on finances. Practical Implications: If we simply consider the financial aspect, encouraging foreigners to subscribe to health insurance has a positive effect on finances. In particular, the more foreign workers are enrolled, the greater the financial gain. In particular, increasing the employment of foreign women through language education, vocational training, and employment support will help finance health insurance. One of the reasons foreign subscribers have a positive impact on health insurance finance is the low medical utilization rate. It can be said that young and healthy foreigners use fewer hospitals and clinics, but another aspect means that foreigners have difficulty using health insurance for various reasons. Therefore, various supports must be accompanied so that foreign subscribers can use medical services when necessary.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of fairness, culture, and service points on organizational management to maximize the ability of organizational members. The subjects of the survey were selected from major hospitals, small and medium hospitals. A total of 500 questionnaires were distributed, but 404 (80.8%) were used for the final analysis. The SPSS WIN 20 program was used to analyze the collected data. The following conclusions were obtained. First, in this study, organizational fairness did not show any general difference, and fairness was obtained with relatively high scores. In terms of improving organizational culture, size of hospital there is a statistically significant difference. the larger the organization, the more the organizational culture needs to be improved. Organizational fairness were significant differences in service encounter points and size of hospital. Second, the correlation between fairness, organizational culture improvement, service contact point and management performance showed a very positive correlation. Third, fairness has no effect on business performance. However, in this study, organizational culture improvement and service contact points are statistically significant and positive (+) influence on dependent variable management performance. Therefore, in order to improve the organizational culture of the hospital, it is necessary for the CEO to the vision, core, to discuss and make a reasonable plan. In order to actively cope with rapidly changing hospital environment, it will be necessary to positively support the of new medical market and the increase of market share.

This study proposes a compact landscape illumination consisting of an electro-active varifocal lens, a laser, and a housing. The varifocal lens was developed using a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) gel-based electroactive polymer and a printed circuit board having a central hole, the perimeter of which was coated with copper. Depending on the applied voltage, the shape of the varifocal lens changed from convex to planar, which determined whether the light generated by the laser was collected or spread. Experiments were conducted to verify the mechanical, optical, and dielectric properties of the PVC gel. Another experiment investigated whether the shape of the PVC gel-based proposed lens changed from convex to planar, observing that the amount of convergence (or dispersion) of the light from the compact landscape illumination can be controlled by applying a voltage.

A series of high capacity soft carbons with different phosphorus contents were successfully prepared by carbonizing petroleum cokes treated with hypophosphorous acid at 900˚C. The effect of phosphorus content on the electrochemical performance of the soft carbons was extensively investigated. The P-doped soft carbons exhibited greatly enhanced discharge capacities and outstanding rate capabilities with increasing phosphorus content. In addition, the influence of temperature on the electrochemical behaviors of the soft carbons was investigated in a wide temperature range of 25˚C to 50˚C. Surprisingly, the electrochemical properties of the pristine and P-doped soft carbons were highly sensitive to the operating temperature, unlike conventional graphite. The pristine and P-doped soft carbons exhibited significantly high discharge capacities of 470 and 522 mAh/g, respectively, at a high temperature of 50˚C.
