Voice Recognition is to understand knowledge, thinking, sensibilify of human and to implement it by computer. Recently, many neural network studies, new information processing model which applies information processing structure of brain, are being researched. This paper describes voice recognition using neural network learning in Error Back-Propagation method that influence of error data is small and the structure is simple. In order to implement this method, First, we analyzed characteristic parameters from the raw data. Second, we separated phone from analyzed parameters. Finally, separated phone is learned by neural network.

Purpose: This study aims to verify whether the Reflective Practice Questionnaire (RPQ) developed by Priddis and Rogers is valid in the Korean context to identify the level of reflection of medical students in clinical practice. Methods: A total of 202 third- and fourth-year medical students from seven universities participated in the study. After receiving approval for use from the authors, a survey was conducted on the students through an adaptation process. The original scale consists of 10 factors with 40 items. The Self-efficacy in Clinical Performance Scale (SECP), Korean Self-reflection and Insight Scale (K-SRIS), and Reflection-in-Learning Scale (RinLS) were used to validate the scale. Exploratory factor, confirmatory factor, correlation, and reliability analyses were used for data analysis. Results: As a result of exploratory factor analysis, 10 subfactors were extracted (Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin=0.856, Bartlett’s test: χ2=5,044.337, degrees of freedom=780, p<0.001). Among the 40 items, one that showed a high overlapping load for other factors was excluded. As a result of confirmatory factor analysis, the 10-factor structure model was found suitable (χ2=1.980, comparative fit index=0.859, Tucker-Lewis index=0.841, root mean square error of approximation=0.070). As a result of the criterion validity test, most of the subfactors of the Korean version of the RPQ (K-RPQ) showed a positive correlation with K-SRIS, RinLS, and SECP. The reliability of 10 subfactors was satisfactory, ranging from 0.666 to 0.919. Conclusion: The K-RPQ was confirmed to be a reliable and valid tool to evaluate the level of reflection among Korean medical students in clinical clerkship. This scale can be used as a tool to provide feedback on each student’s level of reflection in clinical clerkship.

■ Introduction Allergy refers a hypersensitive immune response to the various environmental factors and Qi is considered as vit al energy to defend oneself from environments in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Therefore, this study was performed to assess the relationship between allergy and Qi-deficiency ■ Methods We enrolled the subjects with allergic disorders and the healthy controls without allergic disorders. We got the information on the general characteristics, and the score of Qi-deficiency from all of the subjects, and measured their total Immunoglobulin E(IgE) level. ■ Results There were one hundred forty three subjects with allergic disorders and 211 of the control. The educational level, total IgE, and the scores of the Qi-deficiency were higher in the allergy group than in the control. ■ Conclusion Allergic subjects tend to have more severe Qi-deficiency. This could suggest the clinical effectiveness of some herbal medicines for Qi-deficiency on allergic disorders.

Sericin has been used for the treatment of burn wound. The purpose of this study was to compare the wound healing between sericin plus 4-hexylresorcinol (4HR) ointment (SE+4HR) and base only ointment. Total 12 mice were included in this study. SE+4HR group showed significantly smaller wound size than base only group at 3 wk (P<0.05). Surface temperature was higher in SE+4HR group. In conclusion, SE+4HR group showed better wound healing than base only group. © 2020 The Korean Society of Sericultural Sciences Int. J. Indust. Entomol. 40(1), 1-5 (2020)
Vol.29 No.2
Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate biomechanical comparisons of kettlebell two-arm swings after different somatosensory interventions on joint ranges of motion (ROM) and muscle activations. Method: Fourteen kettelbell novices (age: 22.92±3.23 yrs, mass: 75.75±9.94 kg, height: 172.03± 5.49 cm), consisting of male college students, participated in this study and performed two-arm kettlebell swings in different conditions. Three different somatosensory interventions were the applications of heavy mass kettlebell (20 kg), taping on gluteus muscles, and unstable mat condition. All subjects performed pre-intervention swings and post-intervention swings, respectively. Statistical analysis were performed on results of joint kinematics and electromyographies of major muscles. Results: Results showed significant increases in ROM of hip and decreases in ROM of shoulder after unstable mat trials. In addition, the application of unstable mat during kettlebell swings induced higher muscle activations in gluteus maximus muscle during only upward phase of two-arm kettlebell swings. Conclusion: For beginner, the application of unstable surface would increase in hip joint ranges of motion with enhancement of gluteus muscles.
The underrated role of cold drinks in post-tonsillectomy care: a pediatric case study
Yei-Jin Kang,Seong-Gon Kim 조선대학교 치의학연구원 2024 Oral Biology Research (Oral Biol Res) Vol.48 No.1
The benefits of traditional techniques like cold dissection, hot methods, and suturing for reducing post-tonsillectomy complications such as swelling, pain, and bleeding have been established, however, the postoperative advantages of consuming cold drinks remain underappreciated. This case study aims to highlight the beneficial effects of cold-water consumption in post-tonsillectomy care. An 11-year-old girl suffering from mild rhinitis and severe chronic mouth breathing underwent tonsillectomy. Her postoperative care regimen involved standard instructions coupled with daily intake of cold beverages. This approach resulted in the complete healing of the intraoral wound, without necessitating additional painkillers. Histopathological evaluation revealed right tonsillar hyperplasia laden with bacterial colonies and hyperplasia in the left tonsil. The consumption of cold beverages or ice cream post-tonsillectomy is a promising alternative for postoperative care in pediatric patients. It prompts an organized spontaneous healing process at the wound site and helps pain management.
Assessing China's Influence on Southeast Asia: The Taiwan Issue
Yei Kyoung Kim,Jong Pil Chung 한국국방연구원 2011 The Korean Journal of Defense Analysis Vol.23 No.1
It is widely known that China's influence on Southeast Asia has been growing rapidly since the Asian financial crisis of 1997. However, determining the true dimensions of China's influence in this region is still controversial. It seems quite conspicuous that the growing economic relations between China and the region give China more bargaining power, due to the expanding role of the bilateral trade and China's foreign aid in promoting the regional economic growth. However, this does not give us a clear picture of how China has been able to exercise its influence on the behavior of the states in the region for its own interests. Therefore, this paper tries to assess China's influence on Southeast Asia by analyzing the specific case of Taiwan. Recently, China's rising influence has significantly affected Southeast Asia's relations with Taiwan. Southeast Asian states are paying more attention to the cross-Strait relations when considering attempting to improve relations with Taiwan. This research defines "influence" as the capability of state A to affect the behavior of state B, either directly or indirectly, to comply with state A's policy interests. If the diplomatic behavior of state B changes accordingly due to the action, then it can be said that state A has illustrated its influence over state B. By studying the Taiwan issue, this paper reveals that China has been quite successful in exercising its influence on Southeast Asian states to comply with China's policy toward Taiwan.
