        Hybrid Patterns Recognition of Control Chart Based on WA-PCA-PSO-SVM

        Based on the analysis of the defect of traditional model, this paper proposes a new control chart pattern recognition model, which includes Wavelet Analysis (WA), Principal Component Analysis (PCA), Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) and Support Vector Machine (SVM). WA is good to eliminate noise control chart anomaly pattern recognition of the adverse effect. PCA eliminates the redundant information of data between SVM and reduces the input dimension and computational complexity. PSO algorithm optimizes the parameters of SVM and the establishment of the optimal control chart anomaly pattern classifier can solve the problem optimal parameters of SVM. The simulation results show that the model is feasible, the results are reliable. This algorithm improves the control chart abnormal state average recognition accuracy and be used in the machining process real-time monitoring.

      • Knockdown of HMGN5 Expression by RNA Interference Induces Cell Cycle Arrest in Human Lung Cancer Cells

        HMGN5 is a typical member of the HMGN (high mobility group nucleosome-binding protein) family which may function as a nucleosomal binding and transcriptional activating protein. Overexpression of HMGN5 has been observed in several human tumors but its role in tumorigenesis has not been fully clarified. To investigate its significance for human lung cancer progression, we successfully constructed a shRNA expression lentiviral vector in which sense and antisense sequences targeting the human HMGN5 were linked with a 9-nucleotide loop. Inhibitory effects of siRNA on endogenous HMGN5 gene expression and protein synthesis were demonstrated via real-time RT-PCR and western blotting. We found HMGN5 silencing to significantly inhibit A549 and H1299 cell proliferation assessed by MTT, BrdU incorporation and colony formation assays. Furthermore, flow cytometry analysis showed that specific knockdown of HMGN5 slowed down the cell cycle at the G0/G1 phase and decreased the populations of A549 and H1299 cells at the S and G2/M phases. Taken together, these results suggest that HMGN5 is directly involved in regulation cell proliferation in A549 and H1299 cells by influencing signaling pathways involved in cell cycle progression. Thus, our finding suggests that targeting HMGN5 may be an effective strategy for human lung cancer treatment.

      • Well-designed Te/SnS<sub>2</sub>/Ag artificial nanoleaves for enabling and enhancing visible-light driven overall splitting of pure water

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>To produce hydrogen and oxygen from photocatalytic overall splitting of pure water provides a promising green route to directly convert solar energy to clean fuel. However, the design and fabrication of high-efficiency photocatalyst is challenging. Here we present that by connecting different nanostructures together in a rational fashion, components that cannot individually split water into H<SUB>2</SUB> and O<SUB>2</SUB> can work together as efficient photocatalyst with high solar-to-hydrogen (STH) energy conversion efficiency and avoid the use of any sacrificial reagent. Specifically, Te/SnS<SUB>2</SUB>/Ag artificial nanoleaves (ANLs) consist of ultrathin SnS<SUB>2</SUB> nanoplates grown on Te nanowires and decorated with numerous Ag nanoparticles. The appropriate band structure of Te/SnS<SUB>2</SUB> p-n junctions and the surface plasmon resonance of Ag nanoparticles synergistically enhance the quantum yield and separation efficiency of electron-hole pairs. As a result, Te/SnS<SUB>2</SUB>/Ag ANLs enable visible-light driven overall water-splitting without any sacrificial reagent and exhibit high H<SUB>2</SUB> and O<SUB>2</SUB> production rates of 332.4 and 166.2μmolh<SUP>−1</SUP>, respectively. Well-preserved structure after long-term measurement indicates its high stability.         Nonlocal Formulation for Numerical Analysis of Post-Blast Behavior of RC Columns

        Residual axial capacity from numerical analysis was widely used as a critical indicator for damage assessment of reinforced concrete (RC) columns subjected to blast loads. However, the convergence of the numerical result was generally based on the displacement response, which might not necessarily generate the correct post-blast results in case that the strain softening behavior of concrete was considered. In this paper, two widely used concrete models are adopted for post-blast analysis of a RC column under blast loading, while the calculated results show a pathological mesh size dependence even though the displacement response is converged. As a consequence, a nonlocal integral formulation is implemented in a concrete damage model to ensure mesh size independent objectivity of the local and global responses. Two numerical examples, one to a RC column with strain softening response and the other one to a RC column with post-blast response, are conducted by the nonlocal damage model, and the results indicate that both the two cases obtain objective response in the post-peak stage.

        Study of the Ultimate Load Capacity of K-Type Tube-Gusset Plate Connections

        In order to investigate the ultimate load capacity of K-type tube-gusset plate connections with stiff ened plate, the static tests of fi ve full-scale specimens were conducted in this study. The results indicate that the end stiff ened plate is critical for improving the load capacity of the connections. In addition, the parametric nonlinear fi nite element analysis of the K-type tube-gusset plate specimens was performed with account of such non-dimensional parameters as chord diameter-to-thickness ratio ( γ ), plate width-to-chord diameter ratio ( α ), plate thickness-to-chord thickness ratio ( 1 ), stiff ened plate thickness ( t d ), and nominal-to-yield stress ratio ( η ). The above analysis implies that the ultimate load capacity decreases with the increment of γ and increases with the increment of α and 1 , while it is only slightly aff ected by the stiff ened plate thickness. Compare the results of the fi nite element analysis with assessment by design guides existing. Based on the former results, an equation for estimating the load capacity of K-type tube-stiff ened gusset plate is proposed.

        Review : Purification and Characterization of a Novel Extracellular Thermostable Alkaline Protease from Streptomyces sp. M30

        A novel alkaline protease from Streptomyces sp. M30, SapHM, was purified by ammonium sulfate precipitation, hydrophobic interaction chromatography, and DEAE-Sepharose chromatography, with a yield of 15.5% and a specific activity of 29,070 U/mg. Tryptic fragments of the purified SapHM were obtained by electrospray ionization quadrupole timeof- flight mass spectrometry. Nucleotide sequence analysis revealed that the gene sapHM contained 1,179 bp, corresponding to 392 amino acids with conserved Asp156, His187, and Ser339 residues of alkaline protease. The first 24 amino acid residues were predicted to be a signal peptide, and the molecular mass of the mature peptide was 37.1 kDa based on amino acid sequences and mass spectrometry. Pure SapHM was optimally active at 80°C in 50 mM glycine-NaOH buffer (pH 9.0), and was broadly stable at 0-50°C and pH 4.0-9.0. The protease relative activity was increased in the presence of Ni2+, Mn2+, and Cu2+ to 112%, 113%, and 147% of control, respectively. Pure SapHM was also activated by dimethylformamide, dimethyl sulfoxide, Tween 80, and urea. The activity of the purified enzyme was completely inhibited by phenylmethylsulfonyl fluoride, indicating that it is a serine-type protease. The Km and Vmax values were estimated to be 35.7 mg/ml, and 5 × 104 U/mg for casein. Substrate specificity analysis showed that SapH was active on casein, bovine serum albumin, and bovine serum fibrin.

        중국 재판문서의 수사추론에 관한 고찰

        재판문서의 수사추리란 재판문서에 수사기술을 적용해 청중을 설득하는 효과를 내는 것이다. 본 고에서는 크게 세 가지 측면에서 중국 재판문서 수사추리를 고찰하였다. 첫째, 수사추리 수용자로 당사자(원고, 공소인, 피고, 변호사, 이익관계자 등)와 법관·사회적 공인을 포함하고, 둘째, 수사추리의 주요 내용으로 실체적 내용과 절차적 내용을 포함하며, 재판문서는 사실인정·법적 적용·결론생성과 같은 실체적 내용에 대한 수사추리, 수사추리의 중요성, 재판추리 수용의 예술성과 재판결론을 제고하는 것이다. 중국은 재판문서와 재판문서 추리 개혁이 중단 없이 이뤄져 개혁과 함께 상당한 성과를 거뒀지만 현재 중국 재판문서 추리의 효과는 판결 수용성에 대한 사회적 기대와는 거리가 있다. 따라서 재판문서의 논리 및 작성 규범 등에 대한 고민이 필요하다. 법관이 재판에 임할 때 이치에 맞도록 해야 하고, 또 사정도 해야 하는 것은 사법재판의 정리가 재판 문서추리에 있어 수사(修辭)를 필요하게 하는 것이다. 법관이 재판문서에 적절한 수사기술을 적용해 법리추리를 하면, 법관의 재판리 감정논증을 강화하고, 법리적이면서도 정리를 겸비한 판결을 내려 사법재판의 수용성을 높일 수 있다. 전체적으로 대륙법계에 속하는 한국의 법제도에서도 중국과 유사성을 지니고 있으며, 중국 재판문서의 수사추리를 연구함으로써 한국의 재판문서추리에 시사점을 제공할 것이라 본다. The rhetorical reasoning of the judgment documents mentioned in this paper, that is, the use of rhetorical techniques in the judgment documents in order to persuade the audience, is intended to make judicial decisions more acceptable. This paper probes into the rhetorical reasoning of Chinese judgment documents from the following three dimensions. The first is the audience of rhetorical reasoning, including the parties (the plaintiff, the prosecutor, the defendant, the lawyer, the interested parties, etc.), judges and the public; the second is the main content of rhetorical reasoning, including substantive content and procedural content, where the main rhetorical reasoning of judgment documents is about the determination of facts, the application of laws and the generation of conclusions; the third is the significance of rhetorical reasoning, mainly from two aspects: improving the artistry of judgment reasoning and the acceptability of judgment conclusion. Although the reform of the reasoning of judgment documents in China has not been interrupted and has achieved remarkable results, there is still a certain gap between the effect of reasoning of judgment documents and the public’s psychological expectation of the acceptability of judgment in China. Therefore, it is necessary to think about the reasoning and specification of the judgment documents. The judge should not only enlighten the public with reason, but also touch their emotions. It is the emotional requirement of judicial judgment that makes rhetoric in the judgment documents become necessary. By using appropriate rhetorical techniques in judicial documents, judges can strengthen their emotional argumentation in judicial reasoning, so as to make judgments that are both legal and reasonable, thus improving the acceptability of judicial decisions. South Korea’s law belongs to the civil law system, and its legal system is similar to that of China. By studying the rhetorical reasoning in Chinese judgment documents, this paper hopes to provide relevant reference value for the reasoning of judgment documents in South Korea.
