Concentric winding has been widely used in small capacity AC motors due to its excellent performance. In this paper, a numerical calculation method based on the magnetic vector potential is proposed to calculate the stator end leakage reactance of concentric winding. In this case, the basic unit of numerical calculation becomes the coil group rather than the coil since concentric windings have different coil sizes. The calculated stator end leakage reactance of a prototype three-phase permanent magnet machine with concentric winding is validated using the finite element method. Compared to 3D electromagnetic field calculation, the proposed method does not require a complex modeling process and is therefore highly efficient computationally, requiring only a fraction of the calculation time.

The Australian tortoise beetle Trachymela sloanei (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae: Chrysomelinae), an invasive pest of several species of Eucalyptus has been reported for the first time in Asia. It was first detected in Shenzhen, China where it has become established. Currently, T. sloanei is not a destructive forest pest in Shenzhen. Pupae and adults were frequently found infected by an unknown fungus.
Curcumin leads to responses of grapes to aluminum stress by inducing whole genome hypo-methylation

Aluminum (Al) is the most abundant element in the earth crust. Due to the abuse of phosphate fertilizer, acid rain has been frequently observed in recent years, resulting in the conversion of non-toxic aluminosilicates in the soil into Al ions, thereby causing stress to plants. As a DNA methylation inhibitor, curcumin can eff ectively counteract the Al stress on plants, while the epigenetic mechanism remains unclear. This study discusses the epigenetic mechanism of curcumin counteracting Al stress on grape. The results demonstrated that curcumin could signifi cantly relieve the Al stress symptoms of grapes and reduce its whole genome methylation level. Al stress and curcumin treatment did not cause variations in the methylation level in each chromosome. While Al stress led to a slight increase in the average methylation level of each chromosome, and treatment by curcumin led to a signifi cant decrease in the average methylation level of each chromosome. Specifi cally, the sites of CG and CHG were decreased signifi cantly, and the site of CHH was increased or decreased signifi cantly. Analysis of diff erentially-methylated regions (DMRs) revealed that treatment by curcumin led to an increase in hypo-DMRs in the whole genome of grape, and analysis of diff erentially-methylated genes (DMGs) also identifi ed diff erentially related genes of hypo-DMRs in the whole genome of grapes, suggesting that curcumin triggers responses to Al stress by regulating hypo-methylation mode of the whole genome of grape. Additionally, Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) enrichment analysis demonstrated that DMGs of grapes generate responses to Al stress by participating in galactose metabolism, ascorbate, and aldarate metabolism, and amino sugar and nucleotide sugar metabolism pathways of carbohydrate metabolism in the KEGG subclass.

Nitrogen-containing porous carbons, the 800SP-NH3, were synthesized using sunflower plates as the major carbon source carbonized at 800 oC and activated with concentrated aqueous ammonia at the same temperature. The porous carbons were characterized by nitrogen physical adsorption-desorption, surface area analyzer, FT-IR, and SEM. The adsorption properties of the porous carbons towards phenols were also investigated by batch methods. The test results show that the average pore diameter of porous carbon is smaller than 2 nm, and nitrogen-containing chemical groups are formed on its surface. The adsorption capacity for phenol, 4-chlorophenol, and p-nitrophenol is 316.5mg/g, 330.24mg/g and 387.62mg/g due to its developed pore structure and nitrogen-containing chemical groups. The adsorption isotherm data greatly obey the Langmuir model.
Aperiodically Intermittent Adaptive Event-triggered Control for Linear Multi-agent Systems

This paper investigates the aperiodically intermittent adaptive event-triggered control strategy for general linear multi-agent systems. The aperiodically intermittent adaptive event-triggered control inherits the respective advantages of aperiodically intermittent control strategy, event-triggered control strategy and adaptive control strategy, which improves communication efficiency, reduces control update frequency and is closer to the practical situations. Firstly, to reach leader-following consensus and save more control resources, a distributed aperiodically intermittent event-triggered scheme is devised, in which the transmission channels among agents only open if the local event-trigger condition is satisfied in predefined time intervals. Then, in order to get rid of continuous inter-agent communication for monitoring the triggering condition, a more general triggering mechanism is presented, in which discrete-time combinational measurement is adopted instead of using continuous-time tracking error directly. Next, to overcome the unexpected large feedback gains in real applications and appropriately tune the feedback gains, the aperiodically intermittent adaptive event-triggered controller is further devised. With aid of the matrix theory, stability theory of switching systems and Lyapunov function, some sufficient criteria are deduced. Moreover, the analyses of excluding the Zeno behavior are included, and explicit positive lower bounds between any two consecutive time intervals are rigorously guaranteed. Finally, the effectiveness for the designed control strategies is validated by simulations.
Research on AC Servo Motor Load Disturbance Method

For the decline of the control accuracy of servo system due to the disturbances of load, to design the dimensionality reduction load torque observer, the observed value of load torque after conversion for compensation control. Established the three- loop mathematical model of servo control system, to elicit three- loop control parameter setting formula by the application of optimal second order and third order model theory. Established the simulation model of space vector control AC servo system, by simulation experiment it is verified that three-ring parameters can provide good dynamic performance for system after setting. After the establishment of experimental platform, through the motor load sudden change experiment, it proved the feasibility of the torque compensation control for improving the servo system control precision under load disturbances.
ZnO nanowire array ultraviolet photodetectors with self-powered properties

A ZnO nanowire (NW) array ultraviolet photodetector (PD) with Pt Schottky contacts has been fabricated on a glass substrate. Under UV light illumination, this PD showed a high photo-to-dark current ratio of 892 at 30 V bias. Interestingly, it was also found that this PD had a high sensitivity of 475 without external bias. This phenomenon could be explained by the asymmetric Schottky barrier height (SBH) at the two ends causing different separation efficiency of photogenerated electronehole pairs, which resulted in the formation of photocurrent. It is anticipated to have potential applications in self-powered UV detection field.
