PURPOSE. To explore whether there is matching relation between the length and the tilting angle of terminal implants in the All-on-Four protocol by studying the effects of different implant configurations on stress distributions of implant, bone, and framework. MATERIALS AND METHODS. Four implants were employed to support a full-arch fixed prosthesis and five three-dimensional finite element models were established with CT images, based on the length (S and L) and distal tilt angle ($0^{\circ}$, $30^{\circ}$ and $45^{\circ}$) of terminal implants for an edentulous mandible, which named: Tilt0-S, Tilt30-S, Tilt30-L, Tilt45-S and Tilt45-L. An oblique 240 N was loaded at second molar. The von Mises Stresses were analyzed. The implants were consecutively named #1 to #4 from the loading point. RESULTS. 1) Tilt0-S had the greatest stress on the implants, with the other groups exhibiting variable reductions; the four implants of Tilt45-L demonstrated the greatest reduction in stress. 2) Tilt0-S had the greatest stress at bone around #1 implant neck, and Tilt45-L exhibited the least stress, which was a 36.3% reduction compared to Tilt0-S. 3) The greatest stress in the framework was found on the cantilevers distal to #1 implant. Tilt45-S exhibited the least stress. CONCLUSION. Matching different length and tilting angle of the terminal implants led to variable stress reductions on implants, bone and the superstructure. By optimizing implant configuration, the reduction of stress on implants and surrounding bone could be maximized. Under the present condition, Tilt45-L was the preferred configuration. Further clinical testings are required.
QTBiCGSTAB Algorithm for Large Linear Systemand Parallelized

According to the traditional stabilized biconjugate gradient algorithm (BiCGSTAB) deficiency in data locality, this paper proposed a QTBiCGSTAB algorithm whose core idea is that recursively divides sparse matrix with quarter tree into sub-matrix and reorders them, to improve the hit ratio of cache and enhance the algorithm’s efficiency. And the idea is good for algorithm being parallized, that is proved by the numerical experiments later. It mainly shows, firstly, QTBiCGSTAB algorithm is more efficiency than BiCGSTAB, and the speedup would reach 1:330. The target division length would be influnced on the algorithm’s performance; Secondly, for large linear system, parallized QTBiCGSTAB is more efficiency than serial’s.

Objective: Selenium-independent glutathione peroxidase (GPx5) is specifically expressed in the mammalian epididymis and plays an important role in protecting sperm from reactive oxygen species and lipid peroxidation damage. This study investigates GPx5 expression in the epididymis of Small Tail Han sheep. Methods: GPx5 expression was studied in three age groups: lamb (2 to 3 months), young (8 to 10 months), and adult (18 to 24 months). The epididymis of each age group divided into caput, corpus and cauda, respectively. Analysis the expression quantity of GPx5 in epididymis and testis by real-time fluorescent quantitative polymerase chain reaction and Western blot. Finally, GPx5 protein locating in the epididymis by immunohistochemical. Results: The results demonstrate that in the lamb group, the GPx5 mRNA, but not protein, can be detected. GPx5 mRNA and expressed protein were detected in both the young and adult groups. Moreover, both the mRNA and protein levels of GPx5 were significantly higher in the young group than in other two groups. When the different segments of epididymis were investigated, GPx5 mRNA was expressed in each segment of epididymis regardless of age. Additionally, the mRNA level in the caput was significantly higher than that in corpus and cauda within same age group. The GPx5 protein was in the epithelial cells' cytoplasm. However, GPx5 mRNA and protein were not detected in the testis. Conclusion: These results suggest that GPx5 is mainly expressed in the epididymis of Small Tail Han sheep, and that the expression level of GPx5 is associated with age. Additionally, GPx5 was primarily expressed in the epithelial cells of the caput. Taken together, these studies indicate that GPx5 is expressed in the epididymis in all age grades.

To obtain the excellent permeate flux, rejection performance and mechanical properties, the chlorinated polyvinylchloride (CPVC) porous membrane was fabricated on the polyethylene terephthalate (PET) non-woven fabric by non-solventinduced phase separation (NIPS), using Tween80 (polyoxyethylene sorbitan monooleate) as a hydrophilic surfactant to regulate themicrostructure of the membrane. Porous skin layer and sub-layer were achieved when 3 wt.% Tween80 was added with asmall amount of deionized water as additive, and internal layer consisted of various finger-like holes. The forming mechanism ofmicrostructures was investigated according to the effects of Tween80 molecular chain structure on the viscosity and surface tensionof casting solution. Significantly, the modified membranes obviously exhibited higher pure water flux, which was increasedby 257 % compared with the pristine membrane. The rejection to ink suspension was over 99 %. Furthermore, the antifoulingperformance of modified membrane was also greatly improved on account of the above microstructure and more hydrophilicsurface. This study provides a new idea for the construction of membrane microstructure and the hydrophilic modification.

A high-speed centrifugal pump with a splitter-blade inducer is investigated in this work. The flow with rotating cavitation is numericallysimulated, external characteristics are subjected to experimental tests, and the internal flow is visualized. These procedures are conductedto obtain the pressure, velocity, and vapor volume fraction distribution in the inducer and the impeller of the centrifugal pump. Bubble occurrence, development, and collapse are also observed. The predicted H-Q and η-Q curves agree with the experimental resultsof external characteristics. The calculated vapor volume fraction also agrees with the experimental results obtained from the visualizationsystem. The mechanism of bubble evolution and the anti-cavitation performance of the high-speed centrifugal pump with a splitter-bladeinducer are clearly elucidated.

The complete active space self-consist field method followed by the internally contracted multireference configuration interaction method has been used to compute the potential energy curves of $X^2\prod_g$, $a^4\prod_u$, $A^2\prod_u$, $b^4\sum_{g}^{-}$, and $B^2\sum_{g}^{-}$ states of $S{_2}^+$ cation with large correlation-consistent basis sets. Utilizing the potential energy curves computed with different basis sets, the spectroscopic parameters of these states were evaluated. Finally, the transition dipole moment and the Franck-Condon factors of the transition from $A^2\prod_u$ to $X^2\prod_g$ were evaluated. The radiative lifetime of $A^2\prod_u$ is calculated to be 887 ns, which is in good agreement with experimental value of $805{\pm}10$ ns.
Optimal Timing Control of Discrete-Time Linear Switched Stochastic Systems

Optimal switch-time control is the study that investigates how best to switch between different modes. In this paper, we investigate the optimal switch-time control problem for discrete-time linear switched stochastic systems. In particular, under the assumption that the sequence of active subsystems is pre-specified, we focus on the problem where the objective is to minimize a cost functional defined on the states and the switching times are the only control variables. For systems with one switching time, using calculus of variations, we firstly derive the difference formulae of the cost functional with respect to the switching time, which can be directly used to find the optimal switching instant. Then, a method is presented to deal with the problem with multiple switching times case. Finally, the viability of the proposed method is illustrated through two numerical examples.

The endophytic fungus Trichothecium roseum LZ93 from Maytenus hookeri was found to antagonize other pathogenic fungi in vitro. To identify which compound contributed substantially to the antagonism, we fermented the strain and purified its fermentation products. Eleven compounds were obtained, including two trichothecenes, five rosenonolactones, two cardiotonic cyclodepsipeptides, and two sterols. Compound 11β-hydroxyrosenonolactone (1) was assigned according to 1D and 2D-NMR data for the first time. At the same time, the 1H and 13C-NMR assignments for 6β-hydroxyrosenonolactone (2) were revised. Of all of them, only trichothecin (6) showed strong antifungal activity. Based on our observations of the antagonistic activity and the other experimental results, we suggest that the antifungal compound trichothecin was the main contributor to the antagonistic action of T. roseum LZ93.
Robust Control for a Class of T-S Fuzzy Systems with Interval Time-varying Delay

The problem of delay-dependent stability analysis and controller design for a class of T-S fuzzy systems with interval state time-varying delay is considered. Based on Lyapunov stability theory, defining a new Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and introducing some free-weighting matrices, a new delay-dependent criterion is given to ensure the systems asymptotically stable. The merit of the pro-posed conditions lies in the less conservativeness than the existing ones, which is achieved by consid-ering the mean of time-delay interval and the introduction of the free variables. By the concept of par-allel distributed compensation (PDC), a delay-dependent condition for the existence of a fuzzy state feedback control law with memory is proposed. Another merit is the consideration of the memory of the controller. All conditions are shown in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), which can be solved efficiently by using the LMI optimization techniques. Two numerical examples are given to il-lustrate the feasibility and validity of the proposed approach.
