<P>A new stationary phase has been prepared by attaching a new chain transfer agent on silica particles followed by reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer polymerization. Porous silica particles were reacted with 3-chloropropyltrimethoxysilane followed by sodium diethyl dithiocarbarmate. The silica particles were then allowed to undergo radical polymerization with styrene. The phase had improved ligand morphology to show better separation performance than that of the conventional C18 phase.</P>

로그정규분포를 채택하여 특정 원자력발전소 안전성 계통을 신뢰도 분석을 위한 자료평가의 목적으로 개발된 전산코드 BERD가 개선되고 시험되었다. 모우먼트 일치법과 최대공산법을 이용하여 감마 및 베타 선분포의 모수를 추정하는 옵션이 추가되었다. Revised-BERD를 이용한 시험결과, 로그정규분포가 감마 및 베타분포와 비교하여 보수적임을 보여 주었다. A Computer code, BERD, which accepts only log-normal distribution. has been revised and tested in odrder to update the data for the reliability analysis of safety related systems in a specific nuclear power plant. New options are added to estimate the parameters of gamma and beta prior-distributions facilitating the matching moment and the maximum likelihood methods. The test results using the Revised-BERD show that the log-normal distribution is conservative compared with gamma and beta distributions.

<B>ABSTRACT</B><B>Objective:</B><P>To investigate the morphometric and histological alterations of the constricted alveolar ridge when affected by root thrusting with and without open-flap decortication.</P><B>Materials and Methods:</B><P>Eight beagles were divided into three groups: C, control without root thrusting; R, root thrusting only; RD, root thrusting with alveolar decortication. The ridge constriction model was prepared in 16 mandibular quadrants after extraction of the third premolars. Reciprocal root thrusting of the second and fourth premolars was performed toward the constricted ridge for 10 weeks, having a moment of 900 g-mm. Open-flap decortication was conducted on the constricted bone surface in group RD. Micro-CT-based histomorphometric analysis and trichrome-staining-based tissue fractional analysis were performed to evaluate morphometric and microstructural changes on the ridge.</P><B>Results:</B><P>Group R revealed a higher percentage of bone volume (P < .001), lower bone mineral density (P < .01), and higher trabecular number (P < .001) than did group C, which was supported by a higher bone fraction woven to lamellar bone (P < .05) resulting from histologic fractional analysis. However, group RD showed no significant difference from group C.</P><B>Conclusions:</B><P>Root thrusting toward the constricted ridge induced hypertrophic bone modeling with a high trabecular fraction on the ridge. However, combined open-flap decortication with root thrusting did not improve the volume or quality of the constricted ridge.</P>

특정 원자력발전소 안전성 계통의 신뢰도 분석을 위한 자료평가의 목적으로 전산코드를 개발하였으며 그 유용성을 입증하였다. 가압 경수로 보조급수 계통 신뢰도 분석을 위하여 개발된 전산코드를 이용하여 관련자료를 평가하였다. 이를 위하여 부품고장률의 선분포는 미국의 원자력안전성 연구보고서, 특정 발전소의 운전경험은 기 발간된 인허가자 사상보고서에서 얻었다. 분석결과 후분포는 대수정규분포 곡선에 잘 점철되며 분포의 오차인자들은 현저히 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. A computer code, BERD (Bayesian Estimation of Reliability Data), has been developed and tested in order to update the data for the reliability analysis of safety related systems in a specific nuclear power plant. The code has been used to derive the plant-specific data for reliability analysis of the auxiliary feedwater system of a pressurized water reactor. The prior information for components selected was taken from the U.S. Reactor Safety Study, WASH-1400, and the operating experiences from published licensee event reports. The results show that the updated data are well fitted to log-normal distribution curves and the error factors are reduced significantly.

The seasonal dominant species and abundance of fishery resources were investigated by gill net, trap net and longline in the coastal area of Oenarodo Go-heung, Korea in May, July and October 2019. During the study period, The collected fishes were 407 individuals of the total, figured out 14 orders, 22 families and 29 species. The seasonal dominant species were Portunus triuberculatus in May collected by gill net, Muraenesox cinereus in July and October collected by longline. Catching by fishing gears were the highest in the longline and the lowest in the gill net. Seasonal catching was the highest in July and the lowest in October.
