      • Model of Image Color Difference and Partial Based On RGB Color Distribution Measuring

        According to the color difference fabric dyeing measurement in production, partial color existed bad real-time problems. Color difference and color of RGB fabric images put forward by using the method of color distribution measurement of general, which needed rapid measurement of large area color. According to RGB distribution histogram of the image, the measured color with sample color similarity and distribution curve of characteristic value was calculated, obtained the RGB color model, and gives a method of a partial color judging. The experiment proves the feasibility of this measurement fabric color difference and the judgment method and effectiveness of partial color. Color cast detection method has overcome the limitations of the traditional methods of detecting image color cast. In order to partial color image detection is performed after correction, using a combination of gray world and a perfect reflection of the color correction method, to make up for the shortcomings of traditional method. The experimental results show that, the color deviation correction method of image analysis based on detection improved the reliability of color cast detection. The method uses characteristics of image analysis, it has universal applicability.

        Removal of Chromium (Ⅵ) by Escherichia coli Cells Expressing Cytoplasmic or Surface-Displayed ChrB: a Comparative Study

        Various genetically engineered microorganisms have been developed for the removal of heavy metal contaminants. Metal biosorption by whole-cell biosorbents can be enhanced by overproduction of metal-binding proteins/peptides in the cytoplasm or on the cell surface. However, few studies have compared the biosorption capacity of whole cells expressing intracellular or surface-displayed metal-adsorbing proteins. In this study, several constructs were prepared for expressing intracellular and surface-displayed Ochrobactrum tritici 5bvl1 ChrB in Escherichia coli BL21(DE3) cells. E. coli cells expressing surface-displayed ChrB removed more Cr(VI) from aqueous solutions than cells with cytoplasmic ChrB under the same conditions. However, intracellular ChrB was less susceptible to variation in extracellular conditions (pH and ionic strength), and more effectively removed Cr(VI) from industrial wastewater than the surface-displayed ChrB at low pH (<3). An adsorptiondesorption experiment demonstrated that compared with intracellular accumulation, cell-surface adsorption is reversible, which allows easy desorption of the adsorbed metal ions and regeneration of the bioadsorbent. In addition, an intrinsic ChrB protein fluorescence assay suggested that pH and salinity may influence the Cr(VI) adsorption capacity of ChrB-expressing E. coli cells by modulating the ChrB protein conformation. Although the characteristics of ChrB may not be universal for all metal-binding proteins, our study provides new insights into different engineering strategies for whole-cell biosorbents for removing heavy metals from industrial effluents.

        A biologically inspired model based on a multi-scale spatial representation for goal-directed navigation

        Inspired by the multi-scale nature of hippocampal place cells, a biologically inspired model based on a multi-scale spatial representation for goal-directed navigation is proposed in order to achieve robotic spatial cognition and autonomous navigation. First, a map of the place cells is constructed in different scales, which is used for encoding the spatial environment. Then, the firing rate of the place cells in each layer is calculated by the Gaussian function as the input of the Q-learning process. The robot decides on its next direction for movement through several candidate actions according to the rules of action selection. After several training trials, the robot can accumulate experiential knowledge and thus learn an appropriate navigation policy to find its goal. The results in simulation show that, in contrast to the other two methods(G-Q, S-Q), the multi-scale model presented in this paper is not only in line with the multi-scale nature of place cells, but also has a faster learning potential to find the optimized path to the goal. Additionally, this method also has a good ability to complete the goal-directed navigation task in large space and in the environments with obstacles.

        Erector spinae plane block for spinal surgery: a systematic review and meta-analysis

        Background: Although the erector spinae plane block has been used in various truncal surgical procedures, its clinical benefits in patients undergoing spinal surgery remain controversial. The aim of this meta-analysis was to evaluate the clinical benefits of erector spinae plane block in patients undergoing spinal surgery. Methods: We searched the Cochrane Library, PubMed, EMBASE, and China National Knowledge Infrastructure for randomized controlled trials comparing the erector spinae plane block with a nonblocked control for spinal surgery. Results: Twelve studies encompassing 696 subjects were included in our systematic review and meta-analysis. We found that the erector spinae plane block decreased postoperative pain scores and opioid consumption in the postoperative and intraoperative periods. Moreover, it prolonged the time to the first rescue analgesic, reduced the number of patients who required rescue analgesia, and lowered the incidence of postoperative nausea and vomiting. However, it did not exhibit efficacy in decreasing the incidence of urinary retention and itching or shortening the length of hospital stays, or the time to first ambulation. Conclusions: Erector spinae plane block improves analgesic efficacy among patients undergoing spinal surgery compared with nonblocked controls; however, there is insufficient evidence regarding the benefits of erector spinae plane block for rapid recovery.

        Braking Torque Closed-Loop Control of Switched Reluctance Machines for Electric Vehicles

        In order to promote the application of switched reluctance machines (SRM) in electric vehicles (EVs), the braking torque closed-loop control of a SRM is proposed. A hysteresis current regulator with the soft chopping mode is employed to reduce the switching frequency and switching loss. A torque estimator is designed to estimate the braking torque online and to achieve braking torque feedback. A feed-forward plus saturation compensation torque regulator is designed to decrease the dynamic response time and to improve the steady-state accuracy of the braking torque. The turn-on and turn-off angles are optimized by a genetic algorithm (GA) to reduce the braking torque ripple and to improve the braking energy feedback efficiency. Finally, a simulation model and an experimental platform are built. The simulation and experimental results demonstrate the correctness of the proposed control strategy.

        Physicochemical stability and antibacterial mechanism of theabrownins prepared from tea polyphenols catalyzed by polyphenol oxidase and peroxidase

        Tea polyphenols were used as substrates and oxidized successively by polyphenol oxidase and peroxidase to prepare theabrownins (TBs-dE). The conversion rate of catechins to TBs-dE was 90.91%. The ultraviolet and infrared spectroscopic properties and zeta potential of TBs-dE were characterized. TBs-dE is more stable at pH 5.0–7.0, about 25 °C or in dark environment. Ultraviolet light and sunlight can deepen its color due to the further oxidative polymerization. Mg2+, Cu2+, and Al3+ had a significant effect on the stability of TBs-dE. The inhibitory rates of TBs-dE (1 mg/mL) against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli DH5α were 51.45% and 45.05%, respectively. After TBs-dE treatment, the cell morphology of both bacteria changed, some cell walls were blurred, and the cytoplasmic content leaked. The research results can provide theoretical support for the industrialization of theabrownins.

        Beam position measurement system at HIRFL-CSRm

        Beam position measurement system can not only provide the beam position monitoring, but also be used for global orbit correction to reduce beam loss risk and maximize acceptance. The Beam Position Monitors (BPM) are installed along the synchrotron to acquire beam position with the front-end electronics and data acquisition system (DAQ). To realize high precision orbit measurement in the main heavy ion synchrotron and cooling storage ring of heavy-ion research facility in Lanzhou (HIRFL-CSRm), a series of alignment and calibration work has been implemented on the BPM and its DAQ system. This paper analyzed the tests performed in the laboratory as well as with beam based on the developed algorithms and hardware. Several filtering algorithms were designed and implemented on the acquired BPM raw data, then the beam position and resolution were calculated and analyzed. The results show that the position precision was significantly improved from more than 100 μm to about 50 μm by implementing the new designed filtering algorithm. According to the analyzation of the measurement results and upcoming physical requirements, further upgrade scheme for the BPM DAQ system of CSRm based on field programmable gate array (FPGA) technology was proposed and discussed.
