전보에서 합성한 트리클로로 변성폴리에스테르 폴리올(TCAO)에 2종류의 이소시아네이트 경화제(Desmodur N-3300과 L-75)를 선정하여 상온경화시켜 PU계 난연도료(TACO/N-3300=TCAON, TCAO/L-75=TCAOL)를 각각 제조하였다. 제조된 난연도료로서 물성시험을 시행한 결과 경도, 내마모성, 건조시간은 TCAOL쪽이, 접착력과 연화도는 서로 비슷하게, 가사시간, 60˚ 경면광택도, 점도, 촉진내후성은 TCAON쪽이 더 좋게 나타났다. 난연성분인 trichliroacetic acid 함량 30 wt%에서의 2종류 도막의 LOI값은 29~30%로 나타나 양호한 난연효과를 보여주었다. PU flame-retardant coatings, TCAO/N-3300 (TCAON) and TCAO/L-75 (TCAOL), were prepared by curing trichloro modified polyster polyol (TCAO) with two types of isocyanate curing agents, Desmodur N-3300 and L-75, at room temperature. The physical properties of the prepared coatings were examined. The hardness, abrasion resistance, drying time of TCAOL were better than those of TCAON. However, the pot-life, 60˚specular gloss, viscosity, accelerated weathering resistance of TCAON were better than those TCAOL. The cross-hatch adhesion and fineness of grinds were similar in both the coatings. At 30 wt% of trichloro acetic acid, which is a flame-retarding component, the LOI values of the films of the two coatings were in the range of 20~30%, indicating good flame retardancy of the coatings.

N/A A silicone softner (SS-5), a permanent press (PP) finish, was prepared by blending silicone oil KF-96 (as a lubricating component) and beef tallow hardened oil (as a softening component) which was synthesized from fatty polyamide salts. The prepared SS-5 and the PP finishing resin were applied to PP finishing cotton cloth and P/C gingham sample by one-bath method. The properties such as crease recovery, tear strength, and bending resistance were tested. The samples treated with SS-5 and PP finishing resin showed improved properties when comparing with the untreated ones, with the ones treated only with PP finishing resin, with ones treated with commercial PP finishing softners and PP finishing resin. The grades of fabric samples treated with 3% SS-5 were fifth grade in the bending resistance test.

Recently, remodeling requirements resulted from structure change of construction needs and factor change of building environments show a tendency to increase. On this point of view, the purpose of this study is to develope theoretical evaluation methodology of remodeling plan of building HVAC system, such as remodeling acceptance or rejection, remodeling cost, remodeling priority order. In this study, Remodeling evaluation model of HVAC system developed by Analytic Hierarchy Process which composed evaluation factor, hierarchy structure make upper and under criteria. Remodeling evaluation by AHP will be come into provide successful methods to select proper alternative systems by remodeling of HVAC system.
Occurrence of Black Mold on Sweet Pepper Fruits Caused by Alternaria alternata in Korea

In July 2022 and 2023, black mold symptoms were observed sporadically on fruits of sweet pepper (Capsicum annuum) plants grown in a greenhouse located in Suwon, Korea. The incidence of black mold on the fruits was 5-24% (average 14.8%) in variety SP-504 (yellow and elongate type) and 1-8% (average 5%) in variety SP-505 (red and round type) investigated. Four single-conidium isolates of Alternaria sp. obtained from the diseased fruits were identified as Alternaria alternata based on the morphological characteristics and molecular phyogenetic analyses. The isolates were tested for pathogenicity to sweet pepper fruits of varieties SP-504 and SP-505 through artificial inoculation. The isolates mostly induced large lesions on fruits of the two varieties in the wound inoculation, but only two isolates small lesions on fruits of the variety SP-504 in the non-wound inoculation. No lesions formed on fruits of the variety SP-505 in the non-wound inoculation. The pathogenicity tests revealed that susceptibility of sweet pepper fruits to the disease differs between the varieties. The symptoms induced by pathogenicity tests with the isolates were similar to those observed on fruits from the greenhouse investigated. This is the first report of A. alternata causing black mold on sweet pepper fruits in Korea.

The purpose of this study is to obtain reliability of heating equipments in apartment building. Field data concerning the failure of heating equipments in recorded at the apartments constructed 14 years ago are used. As a result of the field data analysis, failure time distribution and cumulative hazard function of boiler, heat exchanger, steam head and various pumps are expressed in Weibull probability graph. The scale and shape parameters, MTBF of each equipments are presented by regression line of Weobull probability graph. Presented parameter will be come into use a reference data to evaluate the reliability. to plan the maintence scheme, and to evaluate economic renewal of equipments.

Cyclodextrin are obtained from starch by enzymatic degradation. The three best characterize forms are α, β, γ cyclodextrin consisting of 6, 7, and 8 D-glucose units, respectively. Each of the glucose units are in the rigid C1 chair conformation and are linked by α 1,4 bonds. This geometry gives the cyclodextrin the shape of a hollow truncated cone with the wider side formed by the secondary 2- and 3-hydroxy groups and the narrower side by the primary 6-hydroxy group. The most characteristics property of the cyclodextrin is their ability to form inclusion complexes with a wide range of guest moleculars. We syntheses per-6-substituted β-cyclodextrin derivatives and investigate structures, spectrospcopic properties. The substitued materials are piperidine, piperazin, morphorine. The synthetic compound showed a good solubility than natural β cyclodextrin in organic solvents such as methylene chloride, methanol, ethanol, etc.
