A 65-year-old male was admitted with atypical fatigue and mild pedal edema. He was diagnosed with anomalous origin of the right coronary artery from the pulmonary artery on transthoracic echocardiography and multi-slice computed tomography. Advanced functional echocardiography showed good biventricular function. The patient tolerated optimal medical treatment, and no further surgery was necessary.
High-Resolution Simulations for Vietnam - Methodology and Evaluation of Current Climate
Jack Katzfey,Kim Nguyen,John McGregor,Peter Hoffmann,Suppiah Ramasamy,Hiep Van Nguyen,Mai Van Khiem,Thang Van Nguyen,Kien Ba Truong,Thang Van Vu,Hien Thuan Nguyen,Tran Thuc,Doan Ha Phong,Bang Thanh Ng 한국기상학회 2016 Asia-Pacific Journal of Atmospheric Sciences Vol.52 No.2
To assist the government of Vietnam in its efforts to better understand the impacts of climate change and prioritise its adaptation measures, dynamically downscaled climate change projections were produced across Vietnam. Two Regional Climate Models (RCMs) were used: CSIRO’s variable-resolution Conformal-Cubic Atmospheric Model (CCAM) and the limited-area model Regional Climate Model system version 4.2 (RegCM4.2). First, global CCAM simulations were completed using bias- and variance-corrected sea surface temperatures as well as sea ice concentrations from six Coupled Model Intercomparison Project Phase 5 (CMIP5) global climate models. This approach is different from other downscaling approaches as it does not use any atmospheric fields from the GCMs. The global CCAM simulations were then further downscaled to 10 km using CCAM and to 20 km using RegCM4.2. Evaluations of temperature and precipitation for the current climate (1980-2000) were completed using station data as well as various gridded observational datasets. The RCMs were able to reproduce reasonably well most of the important characteristics of observed spatial patterns and annual cycles of temperature. Average and minimum temperatures were well simulated (biases generally less than 1oC), while maximum temperatures had biases of around 1oC. For precipitation, although the RCMs captured the annual cycle, RegCM4.2 was too dry in Oct.-Nov. (−60% bias), while CCAM was too wet in Dec.- Mar. (130% bias). Both models were too dry in summer and too wet in winter (especially in northern Vietnam). The ability of the ensemble simulations to capture current climate increases confidence in the simulations of future climate.

Objectives: The average alcohol consumption per capita among Vietnamese adults has consistently increased. Although alcoholrelated disorders have been extensively studied, there is a paucity of research shedding light on this issue among Internet users. The study aimed to examine the severity of alcohol-related disorders and other associated factors that might predispose individuals towards alcohol usage in a sample of youths recruited online. Methods: An online cross-sectional study was conducted with 1,080 Vietnamese youths. A standardized questionnaire was used. Respondent-driven sampling was applied to recruit participants. Multivariate logistic and Tobit regressions were utilized to identify the associated factors. Results: About 59.5% of the males and 12.7% of the total youths declared that they were actively using alcohol. From the total sample, a cumulative total of 32.3% of the participants were drinking alcohol, with 21.8% and 25.0% of the participants being classified as drinking hazardously and binge drinkers, respectively. The majority of the participants (60.7%) were in the pre-contemplative stage. Conclusions: A high prevalence of hazardous drinking was recognized among online Vietnamese youths. In addition, we found relationships between alcohol use disorder and other addictive disorders, such as tobacco smoking and water-pipe usage. Our results highlighted that the majority of the individuals are not receptive to the idea of changing their alcohol habits, and this would imply that there ought to be more government effort towards the implementation of effective alcohol control policies.

Magnetic tunnel junctions of the glass/Co(10 nm/Al2O3(tx)/Co50Fe50(1.8 nm)/Ni80Fe20(10 nm) conguration for tx from 1.4 to 2.6 nm were fabricated by RF-sputtering. Samples were studied by means of the atomic force microscopy (AFM), high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HR-TEM) and tunneling magnetoresistance (TMR) measurements. The tunneling magnetoresis- tance was investigated as a function of the thickness, as well as the oxygen concentration of the insulating layer. The optimum conguration was obtained for tx = 1.8 nm. In this case, a mag- netoresistance of 12 % was reached in an applied eld of about 2 mT. The study examines the impact of organizational rewards, procedure justice, and perceived supervisor support on perceived organizational support, and examine the impact of perceived organizational support on affective commitment to the organization in the logistic enterprises as well. Quantitative research is applied to measure relationships by regression analysis with SPSS. The research data was collected by convenient method from 180 employees who work in different departments in the logistics industry. The study results in the model 1 found that organizational rewards, procedure justice, and perceived supervisor support have a positive relationship to the perceived organizational support. The study results in the model 2 also found that perceived organizational support has strong impact on the affective commitment to the organization. The study results contribute to both management theory and management practice. For the management theory aspect, the authors suggest that perceived organizational support should be considered the key antecedent of affective commitment about which researchers should pay more attention as a concept. Based on the research results, the authors also recommend for the management practice that managers should pay attention to the implementation of rewards, procedure justice, and supervisor support to increase the perceived organizational support and affective commitment in the logistic enterprises.
Knowledge Sharing Influence on Innovation: A Case of Textile and Garment Enterprises in Vietnam
HOA, Nguyen Dinh,THANH, Vu Ba,MAI, Vu Thanh,TUNG, Le Van,QUYEN, Huynh Vo Thuc Korea Distribution Science Association 2020 The Journal of Asian Finance, Economics and Busine Vol.7 No.7
The study seeks to investigate the relationship between knowledge sharing and innovation in garment and textile enterprises. While previous research has found many factors influencing knowledge sharing, little research has been done about the influence of knowledge sharing on innovation in enterprises in developing countries like Vietnam. In particular, the textile industry plays an important role in export, but outsourcing is accounting for a high proportion of trade; it is necessary to increase innovation in order to increase the competitive advantage by internal capacity. The data is collected from a survey of 245 employees at 20 textile and garment enterprises in Vietnam to study the knowledge sharing influence on innovation. The methodology includes pilot study and quantitative method. The pilot study tests the questionnaire on the respondents. The quantitative method applies SEM analysis to measure the knowledge sharing influence on innovation. The results identify eight factors that positively impact knowledge sharing: rewarding, teamwork, management support, joy of knowledge sharing, communication, trust, commitment, and information technology. This study also shows that knowledge sharing affects innovation. The main findings are discussed for textile and garment enterprises to apply innovative capacity in the context of increasing global integration.

Anomalous left coronary artery from the pulmonary artery (ALCAPA) syndrome is a rare congenital coronary artery anomaly. Clinical presentation can range from asymptomatic conditions to sudden death with exertion. The majority of cases is diagnosed in childhood and dies within the first year, however medical literature has confirmed several cases in adults. We report a case of a 49-year-old woman hospitalized for vague chest pain. Echocardiography found collateral circulation on the anterior wall, and ALCAPA syndrome was diagnosed on multislice CT.
