Information Fusion Filter for Multi-rate Multi-sensor Systems
Jing Ma,Hao Jin,Tian Tian,Wei Zhang 보안공학연구지원센터 2015 International Journal of Multimedia and Ubiquitous Vol.10 No.1
This paper is concerned with the information fusion filtering problem for a class of multi-rate multi-sensor systems, where the system is described at the highest sampling rate and different sensors may have different lower sampling rates. Firstly, the local filters (LFs) at state updating points are proposed by using the LFs at measurement sampling points. Then, the distributed suboptimal fusion filter is obtained by the well-known covariance intersection fusion (CIF) algorithm. The filtering error variance matrices are derived to obtain the fusion weights. The computational cost is reduced since the cross-covariance matrices between any two local filters are avoided. Simulation example verifies the correctness and feasibility of the proposed algorithm.

Eucalyptus dieback disease, caused by Cylindrocladiumscoparium, has occurred in last few years in largeEucalyptus planting areas in China and other countries. Rapid, simple, and reliable diagnostic techniquesare desired for the early detection of Eucalyptus diebackof C. scoparium prior to formulation of efficientcontrol plan. For this purpose, three PCR-based methodsof nested PCR, multiplex PCR, loop-mediatedisothermal amplification (LAMP) were developed fordetection of C. scoparium based on factor 1-alpha (tef1)and beta-tubulin gene in this study. All of the threemethods showed highly specific to C. scoparium. Thesensitivities of the nested PCR and LAMP were muchhigher than the multiplex PCR. The sensitivity of multiplexPCR was also higher than regular PCR. C. scopariumcould be detected within 60 min from infectedEucalyptus plants by LAMP, while at least 2 h wasneeded by the rest two methods. Using different Eucalyptustissues as samples for C. scoparium detection, all of the three PCR-based methods showed muchbetter detection results than regular PCR. Base on theresults from this study, we concluded that any of thethree PCR-based methods could be used as diagnostictechnology for the development of efficient strategiesof Eucalyptus dieback disease control. Particularly,LAMP was the most practical method in field applicationbecause of its one-step and rapid reaction, simpleoperation, single-tube utilization, and simple visualizationof amplification products.

The reactions of hydrated CdCl2, MnCl2, and NiCl2 with 2,2'-bipyidine-3,3',6,6'-tetracarboxylic acid (H4bptc) afforded the mononuclear [CdII(H2bptc)(H2O)3]·H2O (1), linear {[Cd(H2bptc)(H2O)]·3H2O}n (2), 3-D heterobimetallic [NaCd(Hbptc)(H2O)] (3), layer [Mn(H2bptc)(H2O)]n (4) and a dinuclear compound [Ni2(H2bptc)- (H2O)2]·6H2O (5). These compounds have been characterized by elemental analysis, IR, and their structures have been determined by X-ray crystallography. The thermal stabilities of 1-3 were measured by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and their solid state luminescence properties together with the free ligand H4bptc were investigated at room temperature.
Measure Synchronization in a Huygens’s Non-Dissipative Two-Pendulum Clocks System
Jing Tian,ZiChen Chen,HaiBo Qiu,XiaoQiang Xi 한국물리학회 2018 THE JOURNAL OF THE KOREAN PHYSICAL SOCIETY Vol.72 No.2
In this paper, we characterize measure synchronization (MS) in a four-degrees-of-freedom Huygens’s two-pendulum clocks system. The two-pendulum clocks are connected by a massless spring with stiffness constant k. We find that with the stiffness constant k increasing, the coupled pendulums system achieves MS above a threshold value of kc. The energy characteristics of measure synchronization have been discussed, it is found that averaged energy of each pendulum system provide us an easy way to characterize MS transition. Furthermore, we discuss the dependence of the critical value for MS transition on initial conditions and the characteristic parameters of the system.

Genotoxicity and effect on early stage proliferation of osteoprogenitor cells of titanium surfaces modified by heptylamine functionalization through Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition (PECVD) were evaluated in current study. Mouse embryo osteoprogenitor MC3T3-E1 cells were grown on titanium surfaces of all the groups. The CCK-8 assay showed the growths of MC3T3-E1 cells on treated titanium disks were not inhibited compared with those on pure titanium groups. Result of Single Cell Gel Electrophoresis (SCGE) test indicated the treated groups showed no significant differences in tail length, tail DNA%, and tail moment compared with pure titanium group. Rate of micronucleus, nucleoplamic buds and nuclear blebs showed no significant differences between treated groups and pure titanium group. Our research exhibited that: The amino-group functionalized titanium surface has neither genotoxicity nor detrimental effects on early-stage proliferation towards osteoprogenitor cells in vitro, thus offer a theoretic support for the clinical use of such functionalized titanium as implant surface.
Measure Synchronization and Phase Coherence in a High Dimensional Hamiltonian System
Jing Tian,Bo Li,Haibo Qiu 한국물리학회 2019 THE JOURNAL OF THE KOREAN PHYSICAL SOCIETY Vol.74 No.8
Partial and complete measure synchronizations (MSs) are investigated in a high-dimensional Hamiltonian system. Here, a four-coupled ring-shaped rotor model is employed. We calculate the averaged energy of each rotor numerically to address the clustering process of measure synchronization. Poincar\'e sections are used to analyze the dynamic mechanism of partial MS and complete MS transitions, and the separatrix crossing is revealed to be the dynamical mechanism behind all different MS transition behaviors. By calculating the averaged frequency of each rotor, we explore the relationship between frequency locking and MS, and reveal a one-to-one correspondence. Furthermore, we find that abrupt changes in global or even partial phase coherence between the phase oscillators can be an indicator for MS transitions, albeit full phase coherence is not equivalent to measure synchronization.
Collective dynamics in multi-population Hamiltonian systems
Tian Jing,Ying Jiaqi,Qiao Tianli,Qiu Haibo 한국물리학회 2023 THE JOURNAL OF THE KOREAN PHYSICAL SOCIETY Vol.82 No.12
In this paper, we investigate measure synchronization (MS) in a two-population network of coupled metronomes system. The system consists of N identical metronomes placed on two swing boards, and the two swings are connected by spring of stifness k. Metronomes on each swing represents a single population. We mainly study the collective dynamics of multipopulation Hamiltonian induced by increased couplings, including inter-population and intra-population couplings. It is found that by tuning K for the inter-population coupling intensity and R for the intra-population coupling intensity, the system reaches various MS states at certain critical coupling intensities, including partial MS and complete MS. The occurrence of partial and complete MS are discussed particularly by analyzing the Poincaré sections of the Hamiltonian system. In addition, we fnd correspondence in between the phase-locking dynamics and various MS transitions.
