Recently, the regulations on fuel economy, increasing gas mileage and decreasing CO₂ emission, have been tightened extremely. Many studies are performed to realize high-efficiency and high-fuel economy for engine by recovering waste energy. Due to improvement in fuel economy at low temperature, The exhaust heat recovery system(EHRS) has received attention. The exhaust heat recovery system(EHRS) is one of the waste heat recovery system. It reduces engine warming up time by elevating coolant temperature quickly by heat transfer between the coolant and exhaust gas. Therefore, it is possible that fuel economy is enhanced by the reduced the engine friction loss. This paper presents the performance evaluation of EHRS applied on a PHEV engine with respect to various operating conditions.

In this paper, a location identification for a cleaning robot using a camera shooting forward a room ceiling which kas three point landmarks is introduced. These three points are made from a laser source which is placed on an auto charger. A fisheye lens covering almost 150 degrees is utilized and the image is transformed to a camera image grabber. The wi이y shot image has an inevitable distortion even if wide range is coverd. This distortion is flatten using an image warping scheme. Several vision processing techniques such as an intersection extraction, erosion, and curve fitting are employed. Next, three point marks are identified and their correspondence is investigated. Through this image processing and image distortion adjustment, a robot location in a wide geometrical coverage is identified.

In recent years, various technologies have been introduced for the purpose of improvement of the fuel economy at cold start. In particular, the technologies of the temperature rise of the engine coolant and the fast warm-up are the mainstream of the research field. The temperature rise technology is implemented with an electric thermostat and the upward adjustment of the opening temperature of the thermostat. Also, the fast warm-up technology is utilized by means of an electric water pump, a clutch water pump, or EHRS(exhaust heat recirculation system). This paper deals with the impact on the fuel economy characteristics by ATF(automatic transmission fluid) fast warm-up effects using the EGR gas waste heat in a diesel engine. The fuel efficiency improvement from the ATF warm-up effect is 2.5% according to the results from a chassis dynamometer test.

본 논문에서는 통계패키지와 Active Server Page(ASP)를 이용하여 통계분석을 위한 웹 컨텐츠를 개발하였다. 통계패키지는 통계비전공자에게 사용하기도 어렵고 배우기도 매우 어렵지만, 통계비전공자들은 SAS, S-plus, R 등과 같은 통계패키지에 대한 학습 없이 자료를 분석하기를 원하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 통계패키지로 많이 활용되고 있는 S-plus와 ASP를 이용하여 통계분석 웹 컨텐츠를 개발하였다. 실제 응용으로, 수질오염자료에 대하여 웹 상에서 탐색적 자료 분석, 분산분석, 시계열 분석 등과 같은 다양한 분석에 대한 웹 컨텐츠를 개발하였다. 개발된 웹 통계분석은 공무원, 연구원 등과 같은 통계 비전문가들에게 매우 유용한 도구이다. 결과적으로 웹 기반의 통계분석 컨텐츠를 통하여 인터넷으로 하여금 사용자들로 하여금 자료 분석을 쉽게 빠르게 할 수 있다. In this paper, we developed the web content of statistical analysis using statistical package and Active Server Page (ASP). A statistical package is very difficult to learn and use for non-statisticians, however, non-statisticians want to do analyze the data without learning statistical packages such as SAS, S-plus, and R. Therefore, we developed the web based statistical analysis contents using S-plus which is the popular statistical package and ASP. In real application, we developed the web content for various statistical analyses such as exploratory data analysis, analysis of variance, and time series on the web using water quality data. The developed statistical analysis web content is very useful for non-statisticians such as public service person and researcher. Consequently, combining a web based contents with a statistical package, the users can access the site quickly and analyze data easily.

A waste heat recovery system with Rankine steam cycles for improving the fuel efficiency of gasoline automobiles has been investigated. HT(high temperature) loop and LT(low temperature) loop of the system recover waste heat from exhaust gas and coolant of engine, respectively. High temperature condenser works as a condenser in HT loop, and it works as a superheater exchanging waste heat with LT loop at the same time. In this paper, the performance of the high temperature condenser was evaluated in order to set an effective design for the layout of heat recovery system.

This study contributes in noise reduction due to fluid transference through various pipes that surrounds work place. Furthermore, it focuses on the workers' operational efficiency and preventing future hearing loss due to excessive noise level. Upon analyzing the characteristics of similar pipes' noise in an industrial environment, the appropriate countermeasures are introduced. The results of the analysis indicate the pipe's main frequency is high frequency when noise level and pipes' temperature are high. Usually, piping ranges extensively. and operates continuously. So there are not various countermeasures except using noise absorptive materials. The results of the countermeasures points out to the reduction of the noise level as follows: 21dB(A) decreased at 30cm and 9dB(A) at 100cm distance from pipe.

<P>Accurate box office forecasting models are developed by considering competition and word-of-mouth (WOM) effects in addition to screening-related information. Nationality, genre, ratings, and distributors of motion pictures running concurrently with the target motion picture are used to describe the competition, whereas the numbers of informative, positive, and negative mentions posted on social network services (SNS) are used to gauge the atmosphere spread by WOM. Among these candidate variables, only significant variables are selected by genetic algorithm (GA), based on which machine learning algorithms are trained to build forecasting models. The forecasts are combined to improve forecasting performance. Experimental results on the Korean film market show that the forecasting accuracy in early screening periods can be significantly improved by considering competition. In addition, WOM has a stronger influence on total box office forecasting. Considering both competition and WOM improves forecasting performance to a larger extent than when only one of them is considered.</P>

우리가 어떻게 살아가야 하는지에 대해 생각하고 물음을 던지는 인문학은 애니메이션과 닮은 점이 많다. 인간 본성의 중요성이 거론되는 인문학에 비해 아직까지 애니메이션은 일부 관객들에게 상대적으로 하위문화로 인식되고 있다. 하지만 애니메이션은 그것이 담고 있는 주제나 이야기를 비교적 쉽게 관객들에게 전달할 수 있고, 잘 만들어진 애니메이션은 상대적으로 어렵게 생각되는 인문학을 관객들에게 쉽게 전달해주는 매체가 될 수 있을 것이다. 본 논문은 <어네스트와 셀레스틴>을 인문학적인 담론을 통해 분석하였다. <어네스트와 셀레스틴>의 세계에서는 서로에 대한 고정관념 때문에 배타주의적 성격을 띄고 있으며, 각자의 사회가 중요시하는 가치관 때문에 억압과 강요가 일상화되어 있다. 주인공들은 그러한 고정관념과 가치관을 극복하고 이해와 포용을 통해 화해를 이끌어내는 역할을 한다. 단순히 작품 내 세계에서의 화해가 끝이 아닌, 관객들에게 직접 편견을 뛰어넘는 이해와 포용을 전달한다고 할 수 있다. 여러 사회 문제들을 해결하기 위해 인문학의 필요성이 대두되는 요즘, 인문학적 접근을 통한 애니메이션 분석은 인문학적 사고력을 배양하는데 큰 도움이 될 것이며 이를 바탕으로 사회 문제를 해결하는데 많은 영향을 미칠 것이다. 또한 단순히 오락성과 교육적인 매체라는 인식에서 벗어나 인간의 본성을 일깨우는 매체로서의 인식전환에도 도움이 되었으면 한다. Humanities and Animation have a lot of similarity. They are to think about how to we have to live. The Humanities talk about a importance of the true nature of the human being. However, animation has been recognized as subculture to some audiences. But animation can be relatively easy to convey to the audience the topic or story that contains it, and Well-made animation can be a medium that can relatively easy to convey to the difficult topic in humanities. This study is to analyze the 〈Ernest & Celestine〉 from the humanistic discourses. The World in the 〈Ernest & Celestine〉 have exclusivism because they have some stereotypes, and the World trying to coerce into their traditional values every single day. Ernest and Celestine are achieve the reconciliation to understanding and magnanimity from breaking stereotypes and overcoming values. A reconciliation in the world of the animation is not end. the audience are get the message like understanding and magnanimity beyond the prejudice. These days, that the necessity of the humanities emerged to solve many social problems. Animation analysis through humanistic approach will be of great help to cultivate humanistic thinking, and it will have a significant impact in solving social problems. Also the animation should escape the awareness of just amusement or educational medium, and hope that this study has help change of recognition to think about the true nature of the human being from animation.
