A Study on the Interior Design of a Dog-Friendly Hotel Using Deepfake DID for Alleviation of Pet loss Syndrome

Sungi Hwang,Gihwan Ryu 국제문화기술진흥원 2022 International Journal of Advanced Culture Technolo Vol.10 No.1

The environment refers to what is surrounded by something during human life. This environment is related to the way humans live, and presents various problems on how to perceive the surrounding environment and how the behaviors that constitute the environment support the elements necessary for human life. Humans have an interest in the supportability of the environment as the interrelationship increases as humans perceive and understand the environment and accept the factors supported by the environment. In space, human movement starts from one space to the next and exchanges stimuli and reactions with the environment until reaching a target point. These human movements start with subjective judgment and during gait movement, the spatial environment surrounding humans becomes a collection of information necessary for humans and gives stimulation. will do. In this process, in particular, humans move along the movement path through movement in space and go through displacement perception and psychological changes, and recognize a series of spatial continuity. An image of thinking is formed[1]. In this process, spatial experience is perceived through the process of filtering by the senses in the real space, and the result of cognition is added through the process of subjective change accompanied by memory and knowledge, resulting in human movement. As such, the spatial search behavior begins with a series of perceptual and cognitive behaviors that arise in the process of human beings trying to read meaning from objects in the environment. Here, cognition includes the psychological process of sorting out and judging what the information is in the process of reading the meaning of the external environment, conditions, and material composition, and perception is the process of accepting information as the first step. It can be said to be the cognitive ability to read the meaning of the environment given to humans. Therefore, if we can grasp the perception of space while moving and human behavior as a response to perception, it will be possible to predict how to grasp it from a human point of view in a space that does not exist. Modern people have the theme of reminiscing dog-friendly hotels for the healing of petloss syndrome, and this thesis attempts to approach the life of companions.

Simultaneous Oxygen Plasma and Thermal Treatments of an ITO Surface to Improve the Electrical Characteristics of Organic Light-Emitting Diodes

Sungi Jang,채희엽,Chang-Koo Kim,정동근,김형섭 한국물리학회 2007 THE JOURNAL OF THE KOREAN PHYSICAL SOCIETY Vol.51 No.3

The electrical characteristics of organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs) were improved by lowpower oxygen plasma processing of an indium tin oxide (ITO) surface at an elevated temperature of 500 C in this work. ITO is widely used as a transparent electrode in light-emitting devices, and OLED device performance is sensitive to the surface properties of ITO. In this research, a simultaneously oxygen-plasma and thermally treated ITO surface showed better device performance than an oxygen-plasma-treated ITO surface in terms of current density, brightness, and power efficiency. OLED devices with the structure of ITO/TPD/Alq3/LiF/Al were fabricated, and the surface properties of ITO were investigated by using various characterization techniques. The work function of the modified ITO, as determined by using ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopy (UPS), increased from 4.70 to 5.17 eV. An X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) analysis showed an oxygen fraction change from 59.9 % to 70.1 % after the surface treatment. Based on the measurements, we conclude that hole injection is improved due to the high electronegativity of the oxygen adsorbed on the ITO surface. The XPS analysis also showed that the surface carbon composition decreased from 15.1 % to 4.67 % after the surface treatment. A reduction in carbon contamination is also attributed to the improvement in the electrical characteristics. Thus, we demonstrated that simultaneous oxygen plasma and thermal treatment is a proper way for improving the electrical characteristics of OLED devices.

A Study on the Servicescape Design Strategy of a Dog-Friendly Hotel According to the Convenience Pursued by Consumers

Sungi Hwang,Gihwan Ryu 국제문화기술진흥원 2022 International Journal of Advanced Culture Technolo Vol.10 No.1

This study analyzes the servicescape of a dog-friendly hotel, which is the most important element of travel with a dog, which is increasing as the types of families diversify, and intends to suggest implications for servicescape strategies to enhance competitiveness in the future. The number of households with companion animals is increasing in line with the aging of the population, changes in the demographic structure due to the rapid increase in single-person households, and increase in income. In order to successfully operate a hotel with companion animals, which cannot have all the facilities like a large hotel, we would like to segment the market according to the user's pursuit of convenience and propose an appropriate servicescape design method.

A Study on Space Utilization according to Changes in Non-face-to-Face Consumer Use : Focused on bank offices

Sungi Hwang,Gihwan Ryu,Daiyeol Yun,Heeyoung Kim 국제문화기술진흥원 2020 International Journal of Advanced Culture Technolo Vol.8 No.4

Modern financial services go beyond the stage of internet banking, and new concepts of financial transactions such as Internet of Things, mobile banking, electronic payments, and fintech have emerged. As a result, banks are less influential in financial transactions, and changes are being demanded. In the present era, the basic business of banks has decreased, and it is transforming into a space where both consumer finance work and reside. The bank office stands for the brand image of the bank, and it is represented by trust with customers in the basic business of financial transactions, and the rise in real estate value is a natural social phenomenon due to the nature of the location and location of real estate owned by the bank. The business method and space of the bank office that meets the new paradigm of the modern society is an inefficient space only for the convenience and rest of consumers, but it must be used as a variety of spaces suitable for the region to increase the functional value of the bank office. Through this study, as a convenience space for consumers, various service facilities should be introduced to understand the characteristics of the region as a convenience space for consumers, and various service facilities should be introduced to meet the needs of consumers, and the bank office should be improved as a complex service space for local residents.

      • Optokinetically Encoded Nanoprobe-Based Multiplexing Strategy for MicroRNA Profiling

        Kim, Sungi,Park, Jeong-Eun,Hwang, Woosung,Seo, Jinyoung,Lee, Young-Kwang,Hwang, Jae-Ho,Nam, Jwa-Min American Chemical Society 2017 JOURNAL OF THE AMERICAN CHEMICAL SOCIETY - Vol.139 No.9

Multiplexed real-time analysis on multiple interacting molecules and particles is needed to obtain information on binding patterns between multiple ligands and receptors, specificity of bond formations, and interacting pairs in a complex medium, often found in chemical and biological systems, and difference in binding affinity and kinetics for different binding pairs in one solution. In particular, multiplexed profiling of microRNA (miRNA) in a reliable, quantitative manner is of great demand for the use of miRNA in cell biology, biosensing, and clinical diagnostic applications, and accurate diagnosis of cancers with miRNA is not possible without detecting multiple miRNA sequences in a highly specific manner. Here, we report a multiplexed molecular detection strategy with optokinetically (OK) coded nanoprobes (NPs) that show high photostability, distinct optical signals, and dynamic behaviors on a supported lipid bilayer (SLB) (OK-NLB assay). Metal NPs with three distinct dark-field light scattering signals [red (R), green (G), and blue (B)] and three different target miRNA half-complements were tethered to a two dimensionally fluidic SLB with mobile (M) or immobile (I) state. In situ single-particle monitoring and normalized RGB analysis of the optokinetically combinatorial assemblies among three M-NPs and three I-NPs with dark-field microscopy (DFM) allow for differentiating and quantifying 9 different miRNA targets in one sample. The OK-NP-based assay enables simultaneous detection of multiple miRNA targets in a highly quantitative, specific manner within 1 h and can be potentially used for diagnosis of different cancer types. We validated the OK-NLB assay with single-base mismatched experiments and HeLa cell-extracted total RNA samples by comparing the assay results to the quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) results.

      • Massively Parallel and Highly Quantitative Single-Particle Analysis on Interactions between Nanoparticles on Supported Lipid Bilayer

        Lee, Young Kwang,Kim, Sungi,Oh, Jeong-Wook,Nam, Jwa-Min American Chemical Society 2014 JOURNAL OF THE AMERICAN CHEMICAL SOCIETY - Vol.136 No.10

Observation of individual single-nanoparticle reactions provides direct information and insight for many complex chemical, physical, and biological processes, but this is utterly challenging with conventional high-resolution imaging techniques on conventional platforms. Here, we developed a photostable plasmonic nanoparticle-modified supported lipid bilayer (PNP-SLB) platform that allows for massively parallel in situ analysis of the interactions between nanoparticles with single-particle resolution on a two-dimensional (2D) fluidic surface. Each particle-by-particle PNP clustering process was monitored in real time and quantified via analysis of individual particle diffusion trajectories and single-particle-level plasmonic coupling. Importantly, the PNP-SLB-based nanoparticle cluster growth kinetics result was fitted well. As an application example, we performed a DNA detection assay, and the result suggests that our approach has very promising sensitivity and dynamic range (high attomolar to high femtomolar) without optimization, as well as remarkable single-base mismatch discrimination capability. The method shown herein can be readily applied for many different types of intermolecular and interparticle interactions and provide convenient tools and new insights for studying dynamic interactions on a highly controllable and analytical platform.

Graphic Abstract

ACS Electronic Supporting Info
