Chondrosarcoma is a cartilaginous tumor of mesenchymal origin. The histology and grade of the tumor determine the chances of relapse and survival. These tumors usually respond poorly to chemo-radiotherapy in cases of non-resectable and recurrent disease. 18F-FDG PET/CT has been used in evaluation of recurrence. However, these tumors show only mild to moderate FDG avidity due to their lower mitotic activity and large acellular matrix. These tumors are known to have a high degree of angiogenesis, especially in those of higher grade. We present a case of a 53-year-old man with grade II chondrosarcoma of the left femur showing only mild avidity on 18F-FDG PET/CT but showing moderate to intense tracer avidity on 68Ga-DOTA-RGD2 PET/CT. This may enable the use of angiogenesis-targeted positron and beta-emitting radiopharmaceuticals as a potentially new theranostic alternative treatment in cases of refractory metastatic chondrosarcoma.

ON ASYMPTOTICALLY f-ROUGH STATISTICAL EQUIVALENT OF TRIPLE SEQUENCES
SUBRAMANIAN, N.,ESI, A. The Korean Society for Computational and Applied M 2019 Journal of applied mathematics & informatics Vol.37 No.5
In this work, via Orlicz functions, we have obtained a generalization of rough statistical convergence of asymptotically equivalent triple sequences a new non-matrix convergence method, which is intermediate between the ordinary convergence and the rough statistical convergence. We also have examined some inclusion relations related to this concept. We obtain the results are non negative real numbers with respect to the partial order on the set of real numbers.

Advances in wireless sensor network (WSN) technology have enabled small and low-cost sensors with the capability of sensing various types of physical and environmental conditions, data processing, and wireless communication. In the WSN, the sensor nodes have a limited transmission range and their processing and storage capabilities as well as their energy resources are limited. A triple umpiring system has already been proved for its better performance inWSNs. The clustering technique is effective in prolonging the lifetime of theWSN. In this study, we have modified the adhoc on demand distance vector routing by incorporating signal-tonoise ratio (SNR) based dynamic clustering. The proposed scheme, which is an efficient and secure routing protocol for wireless sensor networks through SNR-based dynamic clustering (ESRPSDC)mechanisms, can partition the nodes into clusters and select the cluster head (CH) among the nodes based on the energy, and non CH nodes join with a specific CH based on the SNR values. Error recovery has been implemented during the inter-cluster routing in order to avoid end-to-end error recovery. Security has been achieved by isolating the malicious nodes using sink-based routing pattern analysis. Extensive investigation studies using a global mobile simulator have shown that this hybrid ESRP significantly improves the energy efficiency and packet reception rate as compared with the SNR unaware routing algorithms such as the low energy aware adaptive clustering hierarchy and power efficient gathering in sensor information systems.

SUBRAMANIAN, N.,Esi, Ayhan,AIYUB, M. The Korean Society for Computational and Applied M 2019 Journal of applied mathematics & informatics Vol.37 No.1
In this paper we introduce a new concept for Riesz almost lacunary ${\chi}^3$ sequence spaces strong P - convergent to zero with respect to an Orlicz function and examine some properties of the resulting sequence spaces. We introduce and study statistical convergence of Riesz almost lacunary ${\chi}^3$ sequence spaces and some inclusion theorems are discussed.

Meloidogyne incognita is a common root-knot nematode with a wide range of plant hosts. We aimed to study the metabolites produced at each stage of the nematode life cycle to understand its development. Metabolites of Meloidogyne incognita were extracted at egg, J2, J3, J4, and female stages and 110 metabolites with available standards were quantified using CE-TOF/MS. Analyses indicated abundance of stage-specific metabolites with the exception of J3 and J4 stages which shared similar metabolic profiles. The egg stage showed increased abundance in glycolysis and energy metabolism related metabolites while the J2 metabolites are associated with tissue formation, motility, and neurotransmission. The J3 and J4 stages indicated amino acid metabolism and urea cycle- related metabolites. The female stage was characterized with polyamine synthesis, antioxidant activity, and synthesis of reproduction related metabolites. Such metabolic profiling helps us understand the dynamic physiological changes related to each developmental stage of the root-knot nematode life cycle.

Neural network based modeling of infilled steel frames
Subramanian, K.,Mini, K.M.,Josephine Kelvina Florence, S. Techno-Press 2005 Structural Engineering and Mechanics, An Int'l Jou Vol.21 No.5
A neural network based model is developed for the structural analysis of masonry infilled steel frames, which can account for the non-linearities in the material properties and structural behaviour. Using the data available from the analytical methods, an ANN model with input parameters consisting of dimension of frame, size of infill, properties of steel and infill was developed. It was found to be acceptable in predicting the failure modes of infilled frames and corresponding failure load subject to limitations in the training data and the predicted results are tested using the available experimental results. The study shows the importance of validating the ANN models in simulating structural behaviour especially when the data are limited. The ANN model was also compared with the available experimental results and was found to perform well.
