Polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) matrix composite titania nanofibers embedded with graphene derivative (GO) and quantum dot (GQDs) were fabricated via polymer assisted electrospinnning technique. Photoluminescence (PL) spectra and degradation of environmental pollutants based on methylene blue degradation for electrospun fibers were evaluated. For optimum results for PL different weight percentages (0.05, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3 and 0.5 wt. %) of GO and GQDs were used. The results show that nanosized GQDs embedded fibers possesses a strong quantum confinement effect and hence emits intense wavelength of PL spectra. Here, synergistic effect of titania and Graphene derivatives (GO and GQDs) nanofibers were investigated to elucidate the photocatalytic properties and mechanism of PL.

With the help of this study, we aim to investigate the influence of Financial Distress (FD) and information and communication technology (ICT) on the operating performance and efficiency of banks in the Indian banking sector. FD can be defined as a position in which a company or individual is not in a condition to fulfill their promise of paying their obligations on time. The term "financial distress" refers to a situation in which a corporation or individual is unable to keep their promise of paying their debts on time. In this work, panel data analysis (PDA) was used to analyze data from 33 Indian banks over ten years (2010 to 2019). According to the findings, FD has a positive and significant impact on bank operational performance and efficiency. The current study will give the banking industry a better understanding of how a bank's performance can be negatively impacted by distressing conditions that render it inefficient and ineffective. Second, it will show investors how the level of distress can have a significant impact on bank performance in the market, finally resulting in the loss of money invested.
Heterojunction of FeOOH and TiO<sub>2</sub> for the Formation of Visible Light Photocatalyst

FeOOH/$TiO_2$, a heterojunction structure between FeOOH and $TiO_2$, was prepared by covering the surface of the $\sim$100-nm-sized FeOOH particles with Degussa P25 by applying maleic acid as an organic linker. Under visible light irradiation (${\lambda}{\geq}$ 420 nm), FeOOH/$TiO_2$ showed a notable photocatalytic activity in removal of gaseous 2-propanol and evolution of $CO_2$. It was found that FeOOH reveals a profound absorption in the spectral range of 400 - 550 nm, and its valence band (VB) level is located relatively lower than that of $TiO_2$. The considerable photocatalytic efficiency of the FeOOH/$TiO_2$ under visible light irradiation was therefore deduced to be caused by the hole transfer between the VB of FeOOH and $TiO_2$.

Zero-dimensional graphene based nanostructures (GQDs) exhibit unique photoluminescence (PL) and photocatalytic properties due to the pronounced quantum confinement effect and graphene carrier’s behaviour modification by effective energy band gap of GQDs. Here, well-structured graphene quantum dots were synthesized via several top down and bottom up approaches. Different synthesis methods provide several layered GQDs with unique edge order and crystalline structure. Based on correlation between exciton lifetime and crystalline size of GQDs, crucial effect of different layered structure and edge states on the luminescence and photocatalytic activity were elucidated. Furthermore, Photodegradation and pollutant adsorption capacity were also investigated.
