Several SO42-/Zr-MCM-41 and SO42-/Zr-MCM-48 solid acid catalysts were prepared by wet impregnation method and were characterized by FT-IR, XRD, NH3-TPD and N2 physical adsorption, respectively. The catalytic activities of these catalysts were evaluated in alkylation reaction of phenol and tert-butyl alcohol. Experimental results reveal that the four solid acid catalysts still maintained a typical mesoporous framework. Under comparable condition, the SO42-/Zr-MCM-48-25 catalyst exhibits much high catalytic activity and gives the highest phenol conversion as compared with the other catalysts. A maximum phenol conversion of 91.6% with 81.8% selectivity to 4-tert-butylphenol (4-TBP) was achieved at the reaction temperature of 140 8C. 2012 The Korean Society of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry. There is a lot of debate on the relationship between vitamin D receptor polymorphisms and risk of breast cancer. Herein, we quantitatively analyzed the published case-control studies on this relationship by meta-analysis, performing a bibliographic search from Pubmed and CNKI up to July 31, 2013. The included case-control studies for Fok1, Bsm1, Taq1, Apa1, Cdx2 and Poly-A were 16, 19, 20, 10, 4, 6, respectively. Crude and adjusted odd ratios and 95% confidence intervals were calculated to present and compare the strength of any associations. The results of combined analyses indicated that Fok1, Bsm1, Apa1, Cdx2 and Poly-A were not significantly associated with the risk of breast cancer. In contrast, the tt genotype of Taq1 was a modest risk factor for breast cancer development (tt vs. TT: OR = 1.21, 95% CI: 1.01-1.44). To further confirm the above results, adjusted effects for the six polymorphisms were pooled based on adjusted ORs reported in the original studies. Adjusted ORs of Fok1, Apa1, Cdx2 and Poly-A were similar to the crude ORs. However, Bsm1 and Taq1 showed inconsistent results. For Bsm1, OR for BB vs. bb was 0.85, 95% CI: 0.74-0.98; for Taq1, OR for tt vs. TT was 1.03, 95% CI: 0.92-1.15, and not associated with risk. Subgroup analyses for crude ORs showed some association between Bsm1, Taq1 and breast cancer in Caucasians only, but for adjusted ORs, no associations were found. This meta-analysis suggests that the roles that Fok1, Apa1, Cdx2 and Poly-A polymorphisms play in breast cancer risk are negligible, with Bsm1 and Taq1 as possible exceptions. To be conservative, we still assumed that they may play a modest role in determining breast cancer risk. Further studies are needed to validate our findings.

A previous genome-wide association study conducted in a population of European ancestry identified rs4963128, a KIAA1542 single-nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) 23 kb telomeric to IRF7 (the gene for interferon regulatory factor 7 [IRF-7]), to be strongly associated with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). This study was undertaken to investigate whether genetic polymorphism within IRF7 is a risk factor for the development of SLE.

GEOMETRIC CHARACTERIZATIONS OF CANAL SURFACES IN MINKOWSKI 3-SPACE I
Fu, Xueshan,Jung, Seoung Dal,Qian, Jinhua,Su, Mengfei Korean Mathematical Society 2019 대한수학회보 Vol.56 No.4
The canal surfaces foliated by pseudo spheres $\mathbb{S}_1^2$ along a space curve in Minkowski 3-space are studied. The geometric properties of such surfaces are shown by classifying the linear Weingarten canal surfaces, the developable, minimal and umbilical canal surfaces are discussed at the same time.
Optical properties of a proton-implanted Nd: CNGG planar waveguide
Qian-Lin Zhu,Ming-Fu Lin,Jing-Yi Chen,Zhong-Yue Wang,Chun-Xiao Liu 한국광학회 2019 Current Optics and Photonics Vol.3 No.2
The work reports on the fabrication of an optical planar waveguide in the Nd:CNGG crystal by the 0.4-MeV hydrogen ion implantation with a fluence of 8.0 × 10 16 ions/cm 2 . The nuclear energy loss of the implanted hydrogen ions was derived by using SRIM 2013 code. The microscope image of the proton-implanted Nd:CNGG crystal cross section was captured by a metallographic microscope. The transmittance spectra were recorded before and after the ion implantation. The light intensity distribution of the planar waveguide at 632.8 nm was experimentally measured to validate its effect on one dimension confinement. The investigation shows that the proton-implanted Nd:CNGG waveguide is a candidate for an optoelectronic integrated device.
Study on Aging Characteristics and Chemical Composition of Hydrogenated Transformer Oil
Qian, Yi-Hua,Huang, Yi-Bin,Fu, Qiang,Zhong, Zhen-Sheng The Korean Institute of Electrical Engineers 2013 Journal of Electrical Engineering & Technology Vol.8 No.3
Under the condition of Baader aging, the chemical composition variation and the influence of transformer oil aging on electrical properties such as dielectric loss factor and physic-chemical properties such as interfacial tension were studied in the aging precess. Moreover, the correlation between hydrogenated transformer oil electrical and physic-chemical properties and its chemical composition variation were also investigated. The results show that these parameters of physic-chemical and electrical properties of hydrogenated transformer oil relate to each other and have closed correlation with chemical composition.
Clinical significance and prognostic value of C-reactive protein/albumin ratio in gastric cancer
Qian Yu,Ke-zhi Li,Yan-jun Fu,Yanping Tang,Xin-qiang Liang,Zhi-qing Liang,Ji-hong Bai 대한외과학회 2021 Annals of Surgical Treatment and Research(ASRT) Vol.100 No.6
Purpose: This study was aimed to evaluate the clinical significance and prognostic value of CRP/albumin ratio (CAR) in patients with gastric cancer. Methods: The data of 205 gastric cancer patients who underwent surgery was analyzed retrospectively. The association of CAR with the clinical features and prognostic value in gastric cancer was analyzed. The data of this study was combined with previous studies to further determine the prognostic value of CAR in patients with gastric cancer using a metaanalysis method. Results: Cox analysis revealed that preoperative CAR was an independent prognosis indicator in patients with gastric cancer. High expression of CAR indicated a shorter survival time than in those with lower expression. CAR has a higher prognostic value in the 1-, 3-, and 5-year overall survival in patients with gastric cancer. CAR showed significant difference regarding the gastric cancer patients’ age, M stage, and clinical stage. The discriminate value of CAR in M stage of gastric cancer was high (area under the curve, 0.809). A meta-analysis combining previous data and our data showed that preoperative CAR demonstrated a significant association with the overall survival of patients with gastric cancer. Conclusion: This study demonstrated that preoperative CAR could serve as an important prognostic indicator in patients with gastric cancer.

It is common practice to identify the insulation faults of GIS through monitor the contents of SF6 decomposed components. Partial discharges (PD) could lead to the decomposition of SF6 dielectric, so new reactions usually occur in the mixture of the newly decomposed components including traces of H2O and O2. The new reactions also cause the decomposed components to differ due to the different amounts of H2O and O2 even under the same strength of PD. Thus, the accuracy of assessing the insulation faults is definitely influenced when using the concentration and corresponding change of decomposed components. In the present research, a needle-plate electrode was employed to simulate the PD event of a metal protrusion insulation fault for two main characteristic components SO2F2 and SOF2, and to carry out influence analysis of trace H2O and O2 on the characteristic components. The research shows that trace H2O has the capability of catching an F atom, which inhibits low-sulfide SFx from recombining into high-sulfide SF6. Thus, the amount of SOF2 strongly correlates to the amount of trace H2O, whereas the amount of SO2F2 is weakly related to trace H2O. Furthermore, the dilution effect of trace O2 on SOF2 obviously exceeds that of SO2F2.
SEMI-DISCRETE CENTRAL DIFFERENCE METHOD FOR DETERMINING SURFACE HEAT FLUX OF IHCP
Qian, Zhi,Fu, Chu-Li Korean Mathematical Society 2007 대한수학회지 Vol.44 No.6
We consider an inverse heat conduction problem(IHCP) in a quarter plane which appears in some applied subjects. We want to determine the heat flux on the surface of a body from a measured temperature history at a fixed location inside the body. This is a severely ill-posed problem in the sense that arbitrarily "small" differences in the input temperature data may lead to arbitrarily "large" differences in the surface flux. A semi-discrete central difference scheme in time is employed to deal with the ill posed problem. We obtain some error estimates which also give the information about how to choose the step length in time. Some numerical examples illustrate the effects of the proposed method.
