A unified method for the fractional-order proportional-integral controller based on IMC scheme (IMC-FOPI) is proposed. The analytical tuning rules are derived for achieving the performance improvement in terms of both disturbance rejection and set-point tracking. Many illustrative examples are considered to confirm the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm for both integer and fractional-order processes with time delays. In addition, the robust stability of fractional-order systems are also carried out in order to demonstrate that the proposed controller can hold well the robustness against perturbation uncertainty in the process models.

At present, environmental problems are gradually becoming quite serious because of the expansion of the business scale of companies, factories, and enterprises, and that is also the reason for the global pollution of the world. Green entrepreneurship is playing an increasingly crucial role in influencing people’s intentions, behaviors, and attitudes toward environmental protection through sustainable development. The purpose of this research was to examine the factors affecting university students’ green entrepreneurship levels in Vietnam. To do this, we performed a scientific research survey with 773 students from reputable universities in Vietnam, 337 of whom are male and 436 of whom are female. To assess the reliability and correlation between observed and total variables, this study employs scale testing methods such as Cronbach alpha, EFA, CFA, and SEM. After evaluating the influencing elements, the findings reveal that the Subjective norm factor and the Risk-aversion component are two distinct aspects that influence university students’ green entrepreneurship intentions in Vietnam and of which, the greatest influence is Risk Aversion. Furthermore, the findings revealed that the level of interest in green entrepreneurship is mostly seen by students with university education between the ages of 18–25.

The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on the Vietnamese economy. In the midst of a complex disease that compelled people to limit their interaction, customers’ shopping habits shifted from “offline” to “online” transactions. Mobile payments have also grown in popularity. The goal of this study is to figure out what factors influence the use of mobile payments by hotel clients in Can Tho after COVID-19. The research team also examines how those factors influence customers’ willingness to use mobile payment and makes recommendations to better the current situation. Primary data was collected from 227 persons using online surveys and processed with SPSS software for this study. To analyze the correlation relationship between the elements determining the intention to use, the Cronbach alpha, EFA, Correlation, and Regression methods used to assess the scale are applied. Perceived Trustworthiness, Perceived Usefulness, and Perceived Ease of Use all have positive effects on customers’ propensity to use, according to the findings. Perceived Security, on the other hand, has no bearing. The findings of this study have significant theoretical and practical implications for the development of mobile payment services in Can Tho, particularly following the implementation of COVID-19.

The purpose of the research is to identify antecedents of mobile wallet continuance intention in Vietnam. A self-administered questionnaire was distributed to collect data from a total of 276 respondents. Partial least squares structural equation modeling was employed for analyzing the data. Five mobile wallet features - mobile application quality, mobile wallet familiarity, situational normality, payment security, and feedback mechanism - are introduced as fundamental elements, which influence customer' continuance intention to use mobile wallet in Vietnam. The results indicate that mobile quality application and familiarity can significantly influence perceived ease-of-use (PEOU) and perceived usefulness (PU), but situational normality has an impact only on PEOU. PEOU and PU are positively related to satisfaction. On the other hand, payment security and feedback mechanism affect positively customer' trust. As a result, the positive effects that satisfaction and trust have on electronic wallet continuance intention are confirmed. The findings can be used to advise mobile wallet providers to improve their platform design and services to retain users. As a theoretical contribution, this study combines the Technology Acceptance Model, Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology to investigate the key determinants on continuance intention in the context of electronic wallet in Vietnam.

The objective of the study was to assess the survival of microencapsulated Lactobacillus plantarum ATCC8014 produced using the emulsion technique in alginate gel combined with pectin and maltodextrin components. The microcapsules were then added to cupcake dough that was further baked at 200℃ for 12 min. The viability of L. plantarum was assessed during baking and the 10 days of storage at 4℃ as well as in simulated gastrointestinal conditions. In addition, yeast-mold and water activity were investigated. After baking, the samples with microencapsulated L. plantarum contained more than 5 log CFU/g, which was higher compared to the bacterial concentration of the control samples. The concentration of L. plantarum was more than 6 logs CFU/g after the end of the storage; therefore, the probiotic functioned as a biopreservative in the cake. The prebiotic component strengthened the microcapsules network and helped protect the viability of L. plantarum in simulated gastric fluid (SGF) and simulated intestinal fluid (SIF) media. The results show that the addition of L. plantarum microencapsules did not affect the sensory scores of the cupcake while ensuring the viability of the probiotic during baking and storing.

Microplastic, being a direct carrier of many pollutants, has caused grave concern and become a public issue. This gives rise to the need of a quick method for quantifying and identifying microplastics in the environment. This study uses impedance spectroscopy, particularly the imaginary part of impedance, for detection and identification of sample microplastics. Two type of common microplastic contaminants, Polyethylene and Polystyrene, diameter 20 m and 150 m, were chosen for this study. The results confirm accurate identification of microplastic material in question, by using self-normalized ratio between two characteristic frequencies of 7MHz and 8.9 MHz, Zf = 7 MHz / Zf = 8.9 MHz. 3-kNN classifier built with the ratio Zf = 7 MHz / Zf = 8.9 MHz, and Zf = 8 MHz /Zf = 8.9 MHz, demonstrates accuracy upto 90% for the identification of single or both microplastic types in samples. These results confirm impedance spectroscopy, permitting rapid identification of microplastic without labeling and skillful techniques, as a potential rapid sensor.
