Trajectory Tracking Control of a Quadrotor Aerial Vehicle in the Presence of Input Constraints
Trong-Toan Tran,Shuzhi Sam Ge,Wei He,Pham Luu-Trung-Duong,Nguyen-Vu Truong 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2018 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.16 No.6
In this paper, we address the control problem of a Quadrotor Aerial Vehicle (QAV) in the presence of the input constraints. For this purpose, a separation principle is applied in the control design. The QAV model is decoupled and constructed as a cascaded structure to handle its underactuated property. By imposing the constraints on the orientation angles, we show that the QAV will be never overturned. Then, a combination of the backstepping method, barrier Lyapunov and saturation functions is used in the control design for each subsystem to deal withboth input and output constraints. Our design renders the cascaded system of the QAV into the form in which an Input-to-State Stable (ISS) subsystem is driven by an asymptotic subsystem, and hence the stability of the overall cascaded system of the QAV is ensured. In addition, the tracking errors are guaranteed to converge to the origin. Simulation results are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed control.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to identify factors associated with twin pregnancy following day 3 double embryo transfer (DET). Methods: This retrospective cohort study incorporated data from 16,972 day 3 DET cycles. The participants were women aged between 18 and 45 years who underwent in vitro fertilization with intracytoplasmic sperm injection (IVF/ICSI) at My Duc Assisted Reproduction Technique Unit (IVFMD), My Duc Hospital, located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Results: Of the 16,972 day 3 DET cycles investigated, 8,812 (51.9%) resulted in pregnancy. Of these, 6,108 cycles led to clinical pregnancy, with 1,543 (25.3% of clinical pregnancies) being twin pregnancies. Factors associated with twin pregnancy included age under 35 years (odds ratio [OR], 1.5; 95% confidence interval [CI], 1.32 to 1.71; p<0.001) and cycles involving the transfer of at least one grade I embryo. Relative to the transfer of two grade III embryos, the risk of twin pregnancy was significantly elevated following the transfer of two grade I embryos (OR, 1.40; 95% CI, 1.16 to 1.69; p<0.001) or a combination of one grade I and one grade II embryo (OR, 1.27; 95% CI, 1.05 to 1.55; p=0.001). Conclusion: By analyzing a large number of IVF/ICSI cycles, we identified several predictors of twin pregnancy. These findings can assist medical professionals in tailoring treatment strategies for couples with infertility.

<P>This work focuses on systematic studies of dissolution engineering for Pt0.9M0.1/graphene(M = Au, Co, Cu, Fe, Mo, Ni, Pd, Ru, and Sn) counter electrodes (CEs). The developed nanohybrid materials exhibit higher catalytic activity and electrical conductivity compared with those of Pt/graphene CEs. The results also indicate the improved stability of the developed CEs in iodide electrolyte. Furthermore, the trend in the variation of the reactivity of the PtM alloys agrees well with the concept of density functional theory (one-electron description). An enhancement in the catalytic activity of the developed nanohybrids results from the electronic effect that originates from an upward shift of the platinum d-band to the Fermi energy level upon alloying. Thus, the Pt(0.9)M(0.1)graphene nanohybrids are cost-effective alternative CE materials to the expensive Pt. The obtained results provide a foundation for enhancing the catalytic activities of CEs for dye-sensitized solar cells (DSCs). The implementation of the Pt0.9M0.1/graphene nanohybrids offers significant potential for increasing the efficiency of DSCs. (C) 2017 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.</P>

This study was initiated to investigate the impacts of media types and other components on the callogenensis and cell mass production of Panax vietnamensis in the first step of the cell biomass procedure. Four media were checked: Murashige-Skoog (MS), White, Gamborg and Nitch-AII. All the four media were shown potential media for Panax vietnamensis callogenensis and cell mass production, in which the MS medium showed the best results: the successful callogenensis ratio and cell mass formation were 30% and 62,93 ${\pm}$ 3,63 mg (DW) respectively, the Nitch medium showed the lowest results: the successful callogenensis ratio and cell mass formation were 15% and 27,10 ${\pm}$ 2,24 mg (DW) respectively. The results showed that the MS medium is the most suitable medium for Panax vietnamensis callogenensis and cell mass production.

UNIFORM ATTRACTORS FOR NON-AUTONOMOUS NONCLASSICAL DIFFUSION EQUATIONS ON ℝN
Anh, Cung The,Nguyen, Duong Toan Korean Mathematical Society 2014 대한수학회보 Vol.51 No.5
We prove the existence of uniform attractors $\mathcal{A}_{\varepsilon}$ in the space $H^1(\mathbb{R}^N){\cap}L^p(\mathbb{R}^N)$ for the following non-autonomous nonclassical diffusion equations on $\mathbb{R}^N$, $$u_t-{\varepsilon}{\Delta}u_t-{\Delta}u+f(x,u)+{\lambda}u=g(x,t),\;{\varepsilon}{\in}(0,1]$$. The upper semicontinuity of the uniform attractors $\{\mathcal{A}_{\varepsilon}\}_{{\varepsilon}{\in}[0,1]}$ at ${\varepsilon}=0$ is also studied.
Well-Posedness and asymptotic behavior of partly dissipative reaction diffusion systems with memory
Vu Trong Luong,Nguyen Duong Toan 대한수학회 2024 대한수학회보 Vol.61 No.1
In this paper, we consider the asymptotic behavior of solutions for the partly dissipative reaction diffusion systems of the FitzHugh-Nagumo type with hereditary memory and a very large class of nonlinearities, which have no restriction on the upper growth of the nonlinearity. We first prove the existence and uniqueness of weak solutions to the initial boundary value problem for the above-mentioned model. Next, we investigate the existence of a uniform attractor of this problem, where the time-dependent forcing term $h \in L^2_b(\mathbb{R}; H^{-1}(\mathbb{R}^N))$ is the only translation bounded instead of translation compact. Finally, we prove the regularity of the uniform attractor $\mathcal{A}$, i.e., $\mathcal{A}$ is a bounded subset of $ H^2(\mathbb{R}^N)\times H^1(\mathbb{R}^N)\times L^2_\mu(\mathbb{R}^+, H^2(\mathbb{R}^N))$. The results in this paper will extend and improve some previously obtained results, which have not been studied before in the case of non-autonomous, exponential growth nonlinearity and contain memory kernels.

Cung The Anh,Nguyen Duong Toan 대한수학회 2014 대한수학회보 Vol.51 No.5
We prove the existence of uniform attractors A" in the space H1(RN)∩Lp(RN) for the following non-autonomous nonclassical diffusion equations on RN, ut − ε△ut −△u + f(x, u) + u = g(x, t), ε∈ (0, 1]. The upper semicontinuity of the uniform attractors {Aε}ε∈[0,1] at ε = 0 is also studied.
