아나타제/루틸 TiO2 결정 구조에 의한 메틸렌 블루 광분해 특성 연구

TiO2의 물리적 특성이 메틸렌 블루 광분해 특성에 미치는 영향을 연구하기 위해, HNO3/TTIP가 0.1, 0.5, 1.0과 1.5인 몰비에서 아나타제와 아나타제/루틸 TiO2 시료들이 제조되었다. XRD, SEM, TEM, BET, FT-IR과 UV-vis 분광기를 사용하여 시료들의 물리적 특성을 측정하였다. 아나타제 상이 HNO3/TTIP가 0.1인 시료에서 관찰되었고, 아나타제/루틸 상은 HNO3/TTIP가 0.5~1.5인 시료들에서 관찰되었다. HNO3/TTIP 몰 비를 증가시킴에 따라 루틸 결정상, TiO2 나노입자 사이의 메조 세공 크기와 TiO2의 표면 OH 작용기는 점차 증가하였고, UV 조사 전 메틸렌 블루 잔류 농도는 78.0에서 53.3%으로 감소하였다. UV 조사 후 HNO3/TTIP가 0.1, 0.5, 1.0과 1.5에서 제조된 시료들의 잔류 메틸렌 블루 농도는 각각 20, 14, 11과 23%이었고, HNO3/TTIP가 1.0에서 제조된 시료가 가장 우수한 광촉매능을 나타내었다. Anatase and anatase/rutile TiO2 samples were prepared at HNO3/TTIP molar ratio of 0.1, 0.5, 1.0, and 1.5 to study the effects of the physical properties of TiO2 on photocatalytic decomposition of methylene blue. The physical properties of the samples were measured with XRD, SEM, TEM, BET, FT-IR, and UV-vis spectroscopy. Anatase phase was observed at HNO3/TTIP of 0.1 and anatase/rutile phases were observed at HNO3/TTIP of 0.5~1.5. Rutile crystal phase, mesopore size between TiO2 nanoparticles, and surface OH group on TiO2 sample were gradually increased with increasing the molar ratio of HNO3/TTIP and the residual methylene blue concentration before UV irradiation decreased from 78.0 to 53.3%. After UV irradiation, the residual methylene blue concentrations of the samples prepared at HNO3/TTIP of 0.1, 0.5, 1.0, and 1.5 were 20, 14, 11, and 23%, respectively, and the sample prepared at HNO3/TTIP of 1.0 showed the best photocatalytic ability.

This study is conducted in order to select the varieties that can supplement problems related with organic cultivation of bulb onion (Allium cepa L.). 15 test varieties were selected considering rural preference, breeding line, breeding company, open-pollinated cultivar, F1 hybrid cultivar of either domestic or foreign products. Onion varieties were assessed in 5 criteria which are : growth of plants in low temperature, freezing injury resistance, resistance to physiological disorder such as bolting and doubled bulb, lodging index during harvest, and marketable yield. As a result, e-Joeun, Katamaru, Pop, Art, Singihan among F1 hybrid cultivars and Changnyeongdaego, Seouldaego, and Chunjujunggo among open-pollinated cultivars were selected as more suitable varieties for the organic cultivation. Although Sunpower cannot be selected in varieties those are suitable for organic cultivation, it showed excellent traits in the bulb characteristics. No significant differences were found between open-pollinated cultivar and F1 hybrid cultivar except growth of plants in low temperature (plant sheath diameter) and lodging index during harvest (May 24th). And no significant differences were recognized between domestic varieties and foreign varieties except missing plant ratio after wintering. 본 시험은 유기재배에 적합한 양파 품종 선발을 통해 유기재배 시 발생할 수 있는 문제점을 보완하기 위해 수행되었다. 농가 선호도, 육성계통, 육종회사, 고정종, 교배종, 국내종, 외국종 등을 고려하여 15개 품종을 선발하여 시험을 수행하였다. 각 품종들은 저온생장성, 동해 저항성, 추대, 분구 등 생리장해에 대한 저항성, 수확기 도복률 및 상품 수량 등 5개 영역에서 평가되었다. 교배종에서는 e-조은, 카타마루, 팝, 아트, 신기한 등이, 교배종에서는 창녕대고, 서울대고, 천주중고 등이 유기재배에 적합한 품종으로 선발되었다. 비록 적합한 품종으로 선발되지는 못했지만, 선파워는 구 특성에서 좋은 결과를 보였다. 고정종, 교배종간에는 저온생장성(엽초경), 수확기 도복률(5월 24일)을 제외한 전 영역에서, 국내종, 외국종 간에는 월동 후 결주율을 제외한 전 영역에서 유의한 차이가 발견되지 않았다.
생체온도에서 전기화학증착법을 이용한 티타늄 상 수산화인회석 코팅 연구

In this study, hydroxyapatite (HAp) was coated on titanium using electrochemical deposition (ECD) method at body fluid temperature. The titanium specimens for ECD were prepared by chemically etching treatment using 5M NaOH solution. The electrolyte mixed with 5 mM Ca(NO₃)₂ and 2 mM NH₄H₂PO₄ which has pH 5 (E2) was adjusted to pH 3 (E1) and pH 6 (E3). The different electric pulses of –10, -15, -30 mA were applied to each specimen. The temperature of electrolytes was kept at 37℃. E1-10, E1-15, E1-30, E2-10, E2-15, E2-30, E3-10, E3-15, and E3-30 groups were prepared for this study. Scanning electron microscope (SEM) images showed that E1-10 and E1-15 groups were not coated and the powder-shaped compounds were formed on E3-15 and E3-30 groups. The cracks were observed on the surface of E1-30 and E2-30 groups. The evenly and stable coated layer was deposited on E2-10, E2-15 and E3-10 groups. The layer coated on titanium surface had an HAp crystalline structure. E1-30 and E2-30 groups had low crystallinity, even though they had thick layer. HAp layer on for E2-10 group was well deposited on the surface because it more aligned to c-axis compared with other groups.

In this study, antibacterial chlorhexidine (CHX)-containing hydroxyapatite (HAp) was coated on titanium and investigated its characteristics. Ti-mSBF-CHX group was prepared by soaking titanium disks in the modified simulated body fluid (mSBF) mixed with CHX. Ti-mSBF group was coated using mSBF without CHX. Ti-mSBF-adCHX group was prepared by soaking Ti-mSBF specimen in CHX-containing solution. The crystallines clusters composed with nano-shaped crystallites were coated on the surface of the Ti-mSBF specimen. The ribbon-shaped crystallites were observed with the crystalline clusters on the Ti-mSBF-CHX specimen. The content of CHX chemical compositions was high in ribbon-shaped crystallites. HAp crystalline structure was dominant for all prepared specimens, and β-TCP (tricalcium phosphate) and OCP (octacalcium phosphate) crystalline structures were observed in the Ti-mSBF-CHX specimen. FT-IR spectra showed the strong peaks of CHX in Ti-mSBF-adCHX and Ti-mSBF-CHX groups. However, after immersing in a phosphate buffered saline (PBS), CHX was rapidly released in Ti-mSBF-adCHX group, while it was slowly released in Ti-mSBF-CHX. We expect that the coating method of Ti-mSBF-CHX group could be used for protecting inflammation of titanium implant by incorporating antibacterial agent CHX into HAp layer.
폴리비닐실록산 치과용 고무인상재의 친수성 향상을 위한 계면활성제의 응용과 물성에 미치는 영향

This study was purposed to investigate the effects of surfactants and fillers on physical properties of hydrophilic polyvinylsiloxane dental impression materials (PVS). Incorporation of surfactants enhanced the hydrophilicity of the PVS, however, it induced increased viscosity and permanent deformation ratio, delayed setting, and decreased tensile strength. At high concentrations of surfactant, the tensile strength was observed to decrease significantly due to the internal pore formation. Especially, the hydrophilicity of the PVS was significantly enhanced with the addition of Silwet L-77. However, the viscosity, strain in compression, pore formation, and setting time increased whereas the elastic recovery rate and strength remarkably decreased. The PVS dental materials containing Span 20 showed the lowest degree of viscosity increase, delayed setting, pore formation, and hydrophilicity. The delayed setting, pore formation, and strength decrease caused by the incorporation of surfactant were improved by substituting the crystalline quartz filler with diatomaceous earth while the contact angle of PVS dental materials increased.

Various brands of thermoplastic gutta-percha (GP) obturation materials are on the market, and knowledge of their thermal behaviors is of a great interest to clinicians using warm GP technique. In this study, the thermal properties of eleven commercial brands of GP materials were investigated by differential scanning calorimetery (DSC) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). The relationship of the thermal properties of the tested materials to their resistance forces against the trigger squeezing action was also evaluated. From the DSC analysis results, all products demonstrated thermal behaviors of typical beta-phase gutta-percha showing major endothermic peaks at 48-50℃ and 53-61℃ exhibiting beta- to alpha- crystalline transformations and alpha- to amorphous transformation, respectively. The TGA data indicated that remaining weights of B&L-H, Dia-H and Sure-H products after heating up to 600℃ were higher than those of their soft type products, B&L-S, Dia-S, and Sure-S materials, respectively. The remaining weights and resistance force to trigger squeezing action of the tested materials were well corresponded with the viscosity-types designated by the suppliers.
