Warped product skew semi-invariant submanifolds of locally golden Riemannian manifolds

In this paper, we define and study warped product skew semi-invariant submanifolds of a locally golden Riemannian manifold. We investigate a necessary and sufficient condition for a skew semi-invariant submanifold of a locally golden Riemannian manifold to be a locally warped product. An equality between warping function and the squared normed second fundamental form of such submanifolds is established. We also construct an example of warped product skew semi-invariant submanifolds.

A mechanism showing different modes of interaction of benzalkonium chloride and cetrimide with the stationary and mobile phase has been proposed which leads to the separation of this surfactant mixture. Other combination of cationic surfactants was also separated from their binary mixture by the chromatographic system comprising of silica gel and combination of green solvents as mobile phase. The effect of presence of impurities on separation process was also examined and the limits of detection of the separated surfactants were calculated. The developed method was also successfully applied for the identification of cetrimide and benzalkonium chloride in pharmaceutical formulations.

The synthesis of novel L-proline nitrate ionic liquid referred to as [Pro][NO3] (IL), was performed and the1H, 13C NMR, and FT-IR spectroscopic techniques were used to elucidate the chemical structure. Theinhibition properties of the [Pro][NO3] IL were evaluated for mild steel (MS) corrosion in 1 M HCl usinggravimetric measurement, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), potentiodynamic polarization(PDP) measurement, FT-IR spectroscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), contact anglemeasurement, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), density functional theory (DFT) and Monte Carlo(MC) simulation studies. As indicated by electrochemical and weight loss techniques the tested [Pro][NO3] IL was established as an excellent mixed type high-temperature acid corrosion inhibitor for MS; theoptimal temperature and concentration being 70 C and 300 ppm, respectively. Furthermore, the contactangle measurement and surface studies revealed water-repelling property and the protecting capability,respectively of the investigated inhibitor. The electronic property of [Pro][NO3] IL has been exploredusing density functional theory (DFT) and the sites susceptible for electron sharing were identifiedthrough Fukui indices analysis. Furthermore, molecular dynamics simulation based on the Monte Carlomethod has been employed to envisage the spontaneous adsorption of [Pro][NO3] IL on MS surface.
Mechanical Properties and Electrochemical Behavior of Electroless Ni–P-AlN Nanocomposite Coating

Ni–P electroless coatings have already proven their ability to improve the tribological properties of various materials. Thisis possible due to their high hardness, good wear and corrosion resistance. However, the inclusion of AlN nanoparticlesinto Ni–P matrix can enormously enhance their properties. The aim of the present paper is to develop electroless Ni–P-AlNcomposite coatings as well as studying the effect of the incorporation of AlN particles on the structure, electrochemical, andmechanical properties of Ni–P alloy coating was studied. The morphology of the coatings were characterized using scanningelectron microscopy. In addition, X-ray diffraction was conducted to characterize the structure of the coatings. The microstructuralstudy showed that a uniform and fine-grained coating was accessible while using aluminum nitride. The additionof AlN particles resulted in higher hardness values and improved the wear resistance of the Ni–P coating. Another attainmentof this study was to investigate the effect of heat treatment on the attributes of Ni–P-AlN composite coating, which resultsshowed heat treating at 400 °C for 1 h led to the improvement of the chemical and mechanical properties on both the Ni–Pand the Ni–P-AlN coatings. The maximum hardness value obtained was 870 HV100after performing the heat treatment onthe nanocomposite coating. The same sample revealed a lower wear rate compared with that of the other samples. Also, thepresence of AlN nanoparticles as well as heat treatment resulted in the significant enhancement of the corrosion resistancecompared with that of the Ni–P coating.
Validating the Entrepreneurial Intention Model on the University Students in Saudi Arabia

The main objective of this paper is to examine the applicability of Linan and Chen’s entrepreneurial intention model (EIM) in predicting the entrepreneurial intention. EIM is an adaptation of the Theory of Planned Behavior that focuses on entrepreneurial intention and hypothesizing slightly different patterns of relationship with regards to subjective norms. The model also includes human capital and demographic factors. Snowball sampling method was used to collect data using the entrepreneurial intention questionnaire (EIQ) through several social media platforms. The survey indicates that the overall entrepreneurial intention of Saudi students is high (mean = 5.41). Eight out of the seventeen hypothesized relationships were found to be significant. Among the demographic variables, gender-personal attitude was significant whereas self employment experience and years of business education were found to be significantly related with perceived behavioral control. The statistical analysis using partial least square structural equation modelling validated the model. All the three antecedents of entrepreneurial intention were significantly related with entrepreneurial intention. The results of this study will help policy makers to get deep understanding into the phenomenon of entrepreneurship among Saudi university students and thereby develop a conducive environment. This study also validates the entrepreneurial intention model in a different cultural context.
