        Differentiation of cystic biliary atresia and choledochal cysts using prenatal ultrasonography

        Purpose: This study explored the performance of prenatal ultrasonography in the differential diagnosis of cystic biliary atresia (CBA) and choledochal cyst (CC). Methods: Fetuses diagnosed with hepatic hilar cyst in the second trimester were included in this study. A series of prenatal ultrasound examinations were performed in the second and third trimesters. The diameter of the gallbladder (GB) and hepatic cyst were measured, as well as the wall thickness of the GB. The GB-cyst connection, visibility of the right hepatic artery (RHA), and other concomitant abnormalities were carefully evaluated. A neonatal transabdominal ultrasound examination was performed within 1 week after birth, and clinical data were followed up to 6 months after birth. Results: Between January 1, 2016 and January 31, 2020, 53 fetuses diagnosed with hepatic hilar cyst were recruited. Eight were excluded because they were lost to follow-up. Among the 45 cases included in this study, 10 were diagnosed with CBA and 35 with CC after birth. Statistically significant differences were found in GB width, wall thickness, change in GB width, change in cyst length, GB-cyst connection, and RHA visibility between the CBA and CC groups. GB width showed the best diagnostic performance with an area under the curve (AUC) of 0.899. The combination of GB width, GB wall thickness, and GB-cyst connection yielded a comparable AUC of 0.971. Conclusion: The GB should be carefully evaluated in fetuses with hepatic hilar cyst. Prenatal ultrasound findings could provide suggestive parameters for the differential diagnosis of CBA from CC.         A Facile One-Pot Method for Co3O4/Graphene Composite as Efficient Electrode Materials for Supercapacitors

        As one of the electrode materials for supercapacitor, Co3O4/graphene composite was mainly synthesized via two-steps method. Here, a facile one-pot method was used for Co3O4/graphene composite, and the performances of one-pot-synthesized Co3O4/graphene composite were carefully investigated. Liquid-phase exfoliation was used for graphene and the D-band/G-band ratio of liquid-phase exfoliated graphene was only 0.094, which indicated that the graphene had low defect density and enhanced electrical conductivity. Morphologies investigation of Co3O4/graphene composites indicated that Co3O4 nanoparticles with mean diameter of 14 nm were uniformly anchored on graphene sheets. The facile one-pot method associated with liquid-phase exfoliated graphene induced Co3O4/graphene composite with enhanced specific capacitance of 392 F · g -1 at a current density of 1 A · g -1. The Co3O4/graphene composite also expressed relatively small internal resistance and diffusion resistance (0.36 Ω and 0.45 Ω, respectively). Moreover, the synthesized Co3O4/graphene composite yielded excellent rate performances with only 9.5% capacitance loss when current density was increased by a factor of 10.

        Plate column adsorption of Pb(II) from industrial wastewater on sponge-type composite adsorbent: Optimization and application

        A sponge-type composite adsorbent xanthate-modified chitosan @ titanate nanotubes (XCTS@TNTs) was prepared via a simple and low-cost procedure, and its adsorption capacity was evaluated in batch and continuous plate column systems. The three-dimensional network macroporous structure made it easy to separate from the solution and suitable for the column-based treatment. The excellent adsorption capacity of Pb(II) was as high as 342.47 mg/g and could be obtained in wide ranges of pH and temperature. Interestingly, XCTS@TNTs exhibited outstanding selectivity for Pb(II) rather than other divalent heavy metal ions. Adsorption mechanism was elucidated by the FTIR and XPS analyses. The column adsorption results indicated that the treatment effect was proportional to bed height and inversely to flow rate and influent concentration. XCTS@TNTs was remarkably effective in the removal of Pb(II) from actual industrial effluents to meet the discharge requirements and contributed to the recovery of Pb(II). The treatment volumes of simulated actual battery wastewater and smelting effluent by 2.40 g XCTS@TNTs were as high as 6360 and 49584 mL for Pb(II) with the concentration of 30.55 and 4.49 mg/L, respectively. This work developed a highly practical process for removing heavy metal ions from practical wastewaters.

      • The Research of the PNG Image Encryption Algorithm on the Mobile Platform

        This article has thoroughly researched how to store the images used in the game development on the mobile platform, and proposed a new algorithm for both encryption and compression. While encrypting, the algorithm performs double encryption method, the self-encryption of the encrypted key is also used and the encrypted key is got according to the decryption seed and the system seed. The method is very simple that only addition and subtraction etc. operations are needed and meanwhile it is has several advantages: diversities of encryption technologies are used, the decryption process is fast, there is no high demand of the hardware performance and all the images are integrated into a single file to compress them. In the applications, the algorithm is both secure and efficient because it is robust against being decompiled and it has a cheerful compression rate.

        Improved Thermal Conductivities of Epoxy Resins Containing Surface Functionalized BN Nanosheets

        The hexagonal boron nitride nanosheets (BN) were firstly treated by silane coupling agents 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane (KH550) and 3-glycidoxypropyl-trimethoxysilane (KH560) to introduce some amino and epoxy (EP) groups on the BN surface. These modified BN nanosheets were incorporated into an EP matrix to prepare BN@KH560/EP composites with excellent thermal conductivity and electrical insulation properties. Results showed that the thermal conductivity of BN@KH560/EP composite with 20 vol% BN dosage was found to be 0.442 W/(m · K), which was 81% higher than that of pure EP resin. Both BN/EP composites treated by KH550 and KH560 showed rather good electrical insulation properties, although the dielectric constant of BN@KH550/EP composites were slightly higher than BN@KH560/EP composites. Moreover, BN@KH560/EP composites also showed better thermal and mechanical properties than that of BN@KH550/EP composites.

        Experimental and numerical study on large-curvature curved composite box girder under hogging moment

        Curved steel-concrete composite box girder has been widely adopted in urban overpasses and ramp bridges. In order to investigate its mechanical behavior under complicated and combined bending, shear and torsion load, two large-curvature composite box girders with interior angles of 25º and 45º were tested under static hogging moment. Based on the strain and deflection measurement on critical cross-sections during the static loading test, the failure mode, cracking behavior, load-displacement relationship, and strain distribution in the steel plate and rebar were investigated in detail. The test result showed the large-curvature composite box girders exhibited notable shear lag in the concrete slab and steel girder. Also, the constraint torsion and distortion effect caused the stress measured at the inner side of the composite beam to be notably higher than that of the outer side. The strain distribution in the steel web was approximately linear; therefore, the assumption that the plane section remains plane was approximately validated based on strain measurement at steel web. Furthermore, the full-process non-linear elaborate finite element (FE) models of the two specimens were developed based on commercial FE software MSC.MARC. The modeling scheme and constitutive model were illustrated in detail. Based on the comparison between the FE model and test results, the FE model effectively simulated the failure mode, the load-displacement curve, and the strain development of longitudinal rebar and steel girder with sufficient accuracy. The comparison between the FE model and the test result validated the accuracy of the developed FE model.
