Liu Zhang,Quan-Zhi Liu,Guo-Wei Fan,Xue-Ying Lv,Yu Gao,Yang Xiao 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2024 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.22 No.7
To address the problem of control performance degradation caused by flexible attachment vibrations and external disturbances during attitude maneuvering of flexible spacecraft, this paper proposes a parametric method for improving flexible spacecraft attitude maneuver control (AMC) based on a functional observer. The objective was to enhance the control accuracy and disturbance rejection. First, state expansion was carried out for flexible spacecraft systems affected by disturbances. A functional observer was designed for the system, and sufficient conditions for the existence of the observer were obtained. Furthermore, a controller was designed by using the state information of the observer, which included state feedback and feed-forward compensation. Based on the parametric solution of a class of generalized Sylvester equations (GSEs), the parametric expressions of the controller and observer were established. Finally, a numerical example of a flexible spacecraft proved the effectiveness of the design method. The method can effectively suppress flexible vibrations and external disturbances while also meeting the high-precision control requirements of the flexible spacecraft.

With the increasing share of renewable energy such as wind energy in power system, flexible DC transmission technology has become an important way to effectively absorb wind energy. But the problem of synchronous sub-synchronous oscillation becomes more and more serious. To reduce the influence of sub-synchronous oscillation on interconnected systems, a Controller for energy conversion system is proposed. It is used to control the synchronous operation of the doubly-fed fan and the rectifier station to connect the doubly-fed wind farm. First, based on the impedance method, a doubly-fed wind farm and multi-module impedance model considering AC/DC dynamic coupling are established. The control energy conversion of wind power generation system, rectifier station and inverter station is designed. Second, according to Nyquist curve and impedance stability criterion, the change of system stability in the process of adjusting controller parameters is observed. Third, the system structure is simulated by MATLAB software. The effectiveness of the controller in the converter station at both ends of MMC is verified. The results show that the new controller can effectively suppress the current offset caused by SSO, and thus improve the power system stability.

Objective : A role of diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) in the diagnosis of cerebral venous thrombosis (CVT) is not well-understood. This study evaluates the effectiveness of DWI in the diagnosis of CVT. Methods : Literature search was conducted in electronic databases for the identification of studies which reported the outcomes of patients subjected to DWI for CVT diagnosis. Random-effects meta-analyses were performed to achieve overall estimates of important diagnostic efficiency indices including hyperintense signal rate, the sensitivity and specificity of DWI in diagnosing CVT, and the apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) of DWI signal areas and surrounding tissue. Results : Nineteen studies (443 patients with 856 CVTs; age 40 years [95% confidence interval (CI), 33 to 43]; 28% males [95% CI, 18 to 38]; symptom onset to DWI time 4.6 days [95% CI, 2.3 to 6.9]) were included. Hyperintense signals on DWI were detected in 40% (95% CI, 26 to 55) of the cases. The sensitivity of DWI for detecting CVT was 22% (95% CI, 11 to 34) but specificity was 98% (95% CI, 95 to 100). ADC values were quite heterogenous in DWI signal areas. However, generally the ADC values were lower in DWI signal areas than in surrounding normal areas (mean difference-0.33×10-3 ㎟/s [95% CI, -0.44 to -0.23]; p<0.00001). Conclusion : DWI has a low sensitivity in detecting CVT and thus has a high risk of missing many CVT cases. However, because of its high specificity, it may have supporting and exploratory roles in CVT diagnosis.

Test temperature is an important factor affecting the measurement results of dielectric response of field power transformers. In order to better apply the polarization and depolarization current (PDC) to the condition monitoring of oil-paper insulation system in power transformers, the influences and elimination method of test temperature on PDC characteristic spectroscopy (PDC-CS) were investigated. Firstly, the experimental winding sample was measured by PDC method at different test temperatures, then the PDC-CS was obtained from the measurement results and its changing rules were discussed, which show that the PDC-CS appears a horizontal mobility with the rise of temperature. Based on the rules, the “time temperature shift technique” was introduced to eliminate the influence of test temperature. It is shown that the PDC-CS at different test temperatures can be converted to the same reference temperature coincident with each other.

Infectious bronchitis virus (IBV) poses a severe threat to thepoultry industry and causes heavy economic losses worldwide. Vaccination is the most effective method of preventing infectionand controlling the spread of IBV, but currently availableinactivated and attenuated virus vaccines have somedisadvantages. We developed a chimeric virus-like particle(VLP)-based candidate vaccine for IBV protection. The chimericVLP was composed of matrix 1 protein from avian influenzaH5N1 virus and a fusion protein neuraminidase (NA)/spike 1 (S1)that was generated by fusing IBV S1 protein to the cytoplasmicand transmembrane domains of NA protein of avian influenzaH5N1 virus. The chimeric VLPs elicited significantly higherS1-specific antibody responses in intramuscularly immunizedmice and chickens than inactivated IBV viruses. Furthermore, the chimeric VLPs induced significantly higher neutralizationantibody levels than inactivated H120 virus in SPF chickens. Finally, the chimeric VLPs induced significantly higher IL-4production in mice. These results demonstrate that chimericVLPs have the potential for use in vaccines against IBV infection.

ZnO thin films were grown on silicon substrates using a hydrothermal method. The XRD patterns show that all of the peaks can be attributed to the wurtzite structures of ZnO. The TC value of (002) plane and average crystal size increase first and then decrease with the increase of solution concentration. SEM and AFM results show that many dense hexagonal cylinder particles have been observed on the surface of the thin films, which grown at 0.08 and 0.10 mol/L. The surface roughness of the thin films deposited at 0.06,0.08, 0.10, and 0.12 mol/L are 24.5, 38.3, 32.0, and 39.4 nm, respectively. Surface wettability results show that the preferential orientation along c-axis and surface roughness contribute significantly to the hydrophobicity. The reversible switching between hydrophobicity and hydrophilicity is related to the synergy of the transition of wetting model, surface crystal structure, and surface roughness.

Multilayered nanoshells have attracted much attention due to their unique optical, electronic and magnetic properties. In this work, numerical calculation using discrete dipole approximation (DDA) is conducted to investigate the quad-layered metal nanoshell consisting of a particle with a dielectric silica (SiO2) core, inner cadium sulfide (CdS) shell, middle indium tin oxide (ITO) shell and outer metal silver (Ag) shell. The phenomenon is interpreted by plasmon hybridization theory and the Ag–ITO–CdS–SiO2 multilayered nanoshells are studied by extinction spectra of localized surface plasmon resonance. The variation in the spectrum peak with nanoparticle thickness and refractive index of the surrounding medium is derived. The electric field enhancement contour around the nanoparticles under illumination is analyzed at the plasmon resonance wavelength. The |ω-->, |ω+->, and |ω-+> modes red-shift with the refractive index of the surrounding medium and increase in the layer thickness causes either blue-shift or red-shift as shown by the extinction spectra. The mechanism of the red-shift or blue-shift is discussed. The |ω--> blue-shifts and furthermore, the |ω-+> and |ω+-> modes of the Ag coated multilayered nanostructure are noticeable by comparing the extinction efficiency spectra of the Au–ITO–CdS–SiO2 and Ag–ITO–CdS–SiO2 multilayered nanoshells.
