Factors Influencing the Quality of Standardized Treatment for Patients with Post–Cardiac Arrest Syndrome

        Jing Lu,Lijun Liu,Jianliang Zhu,Xinying Guo 대한심장학회 2017 Korean Circulation Journal Vol.47 No.4

Background and Objectives: For the present study, we investigated the factors that influence the quality of standardized treatment for patients with post–cardiac arrest syndrome (PCAS) to improve the quality of PCAS treatment. Subjects and Methods: We collected data on patients with cardiac arrest (CA) who were admitted to the intensive care units (ICUs) of 11 hospitals-Class II Grade A or above-in Suzhou from January to October 2013. Indexes of standardized treatment were observed within 72 hrs of CA. We analyzed monitoring techniques, monitoring frequency, ICU human and material resources, and intensivists’ knowledge of PCAS treatment to explore how those factors affected the management of patients with PCAS. Results: The bed/nurse ratio and the frequency with which core temperature was recorded correlated closely with the implementation of therapeutic hypothermia (TH) within 6 hrs of CA. The bed/doctor ratio and intensivists’ knowledge about PCAS correlated closely with high-quality blood glucose control within 6 hrs of CA. Furthermore, the frequency with which core temperature was recorded was an independent factor influencing the quality of TH implementation, and the number times blood gas was analyzed was an independent factor influencing how well partial pressure of carbon dioxide was kept within the normal range in the 6 hrs after CA. Conclusion: The frequency of core temperature measurements and the number of times blood gas is analyzed are the most important factors influencing the quality of standardized treatment for patients with PCAS.

Enhanced Distance Dynamics Model for Community Detection via Ego-Leader

( Cai Lijun ),( Zhang Jing ),( Chen Lei ),( He Tingqin ) 한국인터넷정보학회 2018 KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Syst Vol.12 No.5

Distance dynamics model is an excellent model for uncovering the community structure of a complex network. However, the model has poor robustness. To improve the robustness, we design an enhanced distance dynamics model based on Ego-Leader and propose a corresponding community detection algorithm, called E-Attractor. The main contributions of E-Attractor are as follows. First, to get rid of sensitive parameter λ, Ego-Leader is introduced into the distance dynamics model to determine the influence of an exclusive neighbor on the distance. Second, based on top-k Ego-Leader, we design an enhanced distance dynamics model. In contrast to the traditional model, enhanced model has better robustness for all networks. Extensive experiments show that E-Attractor has good performance relative to several state-of-the-art algorithms.

Seismic Damage Indexes of a High Arch Dam Based on the Monolith

        Jianyun Chen,Lijun Qin,Qiang Xu,Jing Li 대한토목학회 2020 KSCE JOURNAL OF CIVIL ENGINEERING Vol.24 No.7

To assess safety of a dam in an earthquake, establishing the performance evaluation index of the arch dam is significant. The finite-element model based on the 289 m-high Baihetan Dam in Southwest China is taken as a case for seismic response analysis, in which the radiation damping of infinite foundation and opening of contraction joints are taken into consideration. Using the incremental dynamic analysis (IDA) approach, a three-component earthquake scaled to 12 increasing intensity levels is applied to the model, and the seismic response of the model is analysed. In this paper, it is proposed to study the damage based on the monolith, so the monolith damage volume ratio and monolith damage area ratio are suggested to determine the most severe part of the dam. Meanwhile, to help identifying the damage of the dam, the response results of contraction joints are extracted to analyse the potential relationship between the proposed indexes, providing a reference for exploring new detection indexes and damage evaluation indexes. In order to explore the possibility of the simplified layout of dam damage monitoring, the dam body is partitioned according to the results of monolith damage development.

      • Matching Algorithm Based on Semantic Similarity of Service Requirement Ontology for CAE Simulation in Cloud Platform

        Ziyun Deng,Jing Zhang,Lijun Cai,Lei Chen,Tingqin He 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of u- and e- Service, Scienc Vol.9 No.9

When Cloud Platform for Computer Aided Engineering Simulation (CPCAES) are developed to use Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), on the one hand, it’s necessary to accurately express the service requirements of users, on the other hand it’s need to semantic of the existing services in the platform, and then to match the ontologies. The existing Ontology Web Language for Services / Universal Description Discovery and Integration (OWL-S / UDDI) algorithm has weak matching precision, and not meet the Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) simulation applications. The other semantic similarity algorithms also have weakness in judgment factor, or do not meet the requirements of CAE simulation applications for matching to service requirement ontology in cloud platform. Such that, the authors present a kind of ontology of service requirement for CAE simulation, model the content of the ontology, including resource requirements, computing requirements, computing job requirements, input, output, etc. The authors give the ontology mapping relationship between Ontology Web Language for Services (OWL-S) and the ontology, give the matching decision rules for the ontologies, propose a matching algorithm for matching the ontologies, and compare with the classic OWL-S / UDDI matching algorithm and a similarity matching algorithm proposed in other paper in the ability for measure the similarity quantity of services, the ability to suit the applications, as well as algorithms recall rate and precision rate. The results show the matching algorithm proposed in this paper is more suitable for service requirement ontology of CPCAES, can use the quantify value for the similarity analysis to the ontologies, and has higher precision rate and higher recall rate, which can reach about 90%. The research work in this paper is used in the second prototype of CPCAES, and the research team is developing the third prototype based on semantic Web Services and SOA framework.

Hybrid Veil-Like Co(OH)2/rGO Nanocomposites Towards Electrochemical Hydrogen Storage Properties

        Keda Wang,Jing Yu,Lijun Liu,Lin Hou,Fengyou Jin 성균관대학교(자연과학캠퍼스) 성균나노과학기술원 2017 NANO Vol.12 No.11

The design and synthesis of new hydrogen storage nanomaterials with high capacity at low cost is extremely desirable but remains challenging for today's development of a hydrogen economy. As a new type hydrogen storage material, Co(OH)2/rGO nanocomposites were successfully obtained through a facile method in this study. Through the measurements of X-ray diffraction, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), cyclic voltammetry and galvanostatic charge/discharge, it indicated that Co(OH)2/rGO nanocomposites showed a veil-like microstructure, consisting of interlaced nanorods with a diameter of 4–8 nm on rGO nanosheets. The hydrogen storage capacity was up to 400 mAh/g at room temperature, higher than those of graphene and Co(OH)2.

Pounding Dynamic Responses and Mitigation Measures of Sliding Base-isolated Concrete Rectangular Liquid Storage Structuress

        Xuansheng Cheng,Wei Jing,Lei Qi,Lijun Gong 대한토목학회 2019 KSCE JOURNAL OF CIVIL ENGINEERING Vol.23 No.7

This paper adopts a simplified spring-mass mechanical model for a concrete rectangular liquid-storage structure (CRLSS). Using a nonlinear model to simulate the pounding effect based on the contact element method, the effects of pounding and parameters on the dynamic responses of a CRLSS are studied. Mitigation measures for the pounding effect are investigated. The dynamic responses and the liquid sloshing height are increased after pounding. A parameter analysis shows that impact stiffness, initial gap, peak ground velocity, isolation period, liquid height and length-width ratio (LWR) of the structure are the main factors affecting the pounding response. Certain intermediate gaps can maximize the amplification caused by pounding. The coefficient of restitution (COR) can be reduced by installing a bumper layer, and the COR decreases with an increasing bumper thickness. A reasonable bumper design not only allows the moat wall to limit the displacement but also effectively reduces the structure’s dynamic responses and number of collisions caused by pounding.

Dynamic Responses of a Sliding Base-isolated RLSS Considering Free Surface Liquid Sloshing

Xuansheng Cheng,Wei Jing,Lijun Gong 대한토목학회 2018 KSCE Journal of Civil Engineering Vol.22 No.12

Free surface liquid sloshing is an important characteristic of LSS (liquid storage structure) under the action of earthquake. The velocity potential function considering free surface liquid sloshing is obtained, and the fluid dynamics problem is solved based on Navier-Stokes equation. The dynamic responses of the system are comparatively studied considering free surface liquid sloshing or not. The results show that, when free surface liquid sloshing is considered, structural slippage is decreased while structural acceleration, effective stress, base shear force, and liquid pressure are increased significantly. Free surface liquid sloshing has a great influence on distributions of dynamic responses along the wall height, and distribution and size of tensile stress of the wall are significantly affected by free surface liquid sloshing. Regardless of whether free surface liquid sloshing is considered or not, the first principal stress, effective stress and liquid pressure are all increased with the increase of liquid level height, and the influence of free surface liquid sloshing also increases with the increase of liquid level height. Without considering free surface liquid sloshing, the structural slippage will be overestimated and the other dynamic responses of the system will be underestimated.

Effects of Ti and La Additions on the Microstructures and Mechanical Properties of B-Refined and Sr-Modified Al–11Si Alloys

        Chenlin Li,Ye Pan,Tao Lu,Lijun Jing,Jinhong Pi 대한금속·재료학회 2018 METALS AND MATERIALS International Vol.24 No.5

The effects of Ti and La additions on the microstructures and mechanical properties of B-refined and Sr-modifi ed Al–11Sialloys were investigated in the present work. The interactions among Ti, La, B and Sr elements were discussed employingmicrostructure observation, thermal analysis and tensile test, respectively. It was found that the addition of 0.05 wt% Binduces a transformation of eutectic Si from fi nely fi brous to coarsely plate-like morphology in the Al–11Si alloy with 0.02wt%Sr modifi cation, owing to the poisoning of IIT mechanism, and the eutectic Si grows only with TPRE mechanism. Bothtitanium and lanthanum can neutralize the co-poisoning effect between Sr and B in the Al–11Si alloy, but the neutralizingeffect of La is dependent on the addition sequence. The combinative addition of La and B elements promotes the effectiverefi nement of α-Al grains, but an inhomogeneous modifi cation of eutectic Si phases is also observed, leading to a slightlydecrease in the elongation.
