      • Control System Design of Anti-rolling Tank Swing Bench Using BP Neural Network PID Based on LabVIEW

        Lihua Liang,Mingxiao Sun,Songtao Zhang,Yu Wen,Peng Zhao,Jia Yuan 보안공학연구지원센터 2015 International Journal of Smart Home Vol.9 No.6

The anti-rolling tank swing bench is a typical hydraulic position servo system. Its function is to simulate the ship roll motion and to verify the performance of the anti-rolling tank. Generally, the PID control method can achieve an ideal control effect. But the uncertainties, such as the couplings and the nonlinearty of the swing bench, make it difficult to establish the precise mathematical model of system. During experiments, the different disturbance torques are generated according to the different dimension scales of the anti-rolling tanks. Changes of the natural characteristics of the system are caused by changes of load, and the fixed parameters of PID controller are difficult to continue to ensure a good control effect. In order to reduce the influences caused by the factors mentioned above, a BP neural network PID control system based on virtual instrument LabVIEW is designed. By simulating the responses of the system in real time control, the verification tests using actual system are avoided. Finally, the experiments of swing bench are carried out. The results show that the controller can ensure the control accuracy and stability. The parameters tuning process efficiency is improved. The operation is convenient. The data acquisition process is simple and practical.

An Efficient and Mild Oxidation of α-Isophorone to Ketoisophorone Catalyzed by N-Hydroxyphthalimide and Copper Chloride

Lihua Chen,Ruiren Tang,Zhongying Li,Shan Liang 대한화학회 2012 Bulletin of the Korean Chemical Society Vol.33 No.2

N-hydroxyphthalimide (NHPI) and copper chloride (CuCl2) were first utilized for aerobic oxidation of α-isophorone (α-IP) to ketoisophorone (KIP) and the effects of co-catalysts, temperature, reaction time, solvent, amount of CuCl2 and pressure of oxygen were investigated extensively. NHPI/CuCl2 turned out to be highly efficient to this oxidation with up to 91.3% conversion and 81.0% selectivity under mild conditions. And various hydrocarbons including benzylic compounds, cycloalkene and its derivatives were also oxidized smoothly under optimized conditions. Moreover, the possible reaction mechanism was proposed and verified by FT-IR spectra.

Sum rate and Energy Efficiency of Massive MIMO Downlink with Channel Aging in Time Varying Ricean Fading Channel

( Lihua Yang ),( Longxiang Yang ),( Hongbo Zhu ),( Yan Liang ) 한국인터넷정보학회 2018 KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Syst Vol.12 No.3

Achievable sum rate and energy efficiency (EE) are investigated for the massive multiple-input multiple-output (Massive MIMO) downlink with channel aging in the time varying Ricean fading channel. Specifically, the expression of the achievable sum rate of the system for the maximum ratio transmission (MRT) precoder with aged channel state information (CSI) in the time varying Ricean fading channel is first presented. Based on the expression, the effect of both channel aging and the Ricean factor on the power scaling law are studied. It is found that the transmit power of base station (BS) is scaled down by 1/√M (where M is the number of the BS antennas) when the Ricean factor K is equal to zero (i.e., time varying Rayleigh fading channel), indicating that aged CSI does not affect the power scaling law. However, the transmit power of the BS is scaled down by for the time varying Ricean fading channel (where K≠0) indicating that the Ricean factor affects the power scaling law and sum rate, and channel aging only leads to a reduction of the sum rate. Second, the EE of the system is analyzed based on the general power consumption model. Both the theoretical analysis and the simulations show that the channel aging could degrade the sum rate and the EE of the system, and it does not affect the power scaling law.

Protective effect of liensinine on periodontitis through its antioxidant effect in mice

        Liang Pang,Kai Zhu,Xia Feng,Weiwei Liu,Deguang Peng,Lihua Qiu,Xiang Gao,Jiang Deng,Ying Li,Xin Zhao 한국응용생명화학회 2015 Applied Biological Chemistry (Appl Biol Chem) Vol.58 No.6

Liensinine is the most important functional compound in lotus seeds; its protective effect on periodontitis was determined and the mechanism of its antioxidant effect was also explained. During the experiment, we could observe that liensinine could reduce the gingival index in periodontitis-induced mice, and these effects were similar to that during the treatment of periodontitis with the metronidazole drug. After the treatment with liensinine, the serum Immunoglobulin G1 (IgG1) level was found to increase and IgG2a level was found to decrease compared to the periodontitis control mice. Liensinine and metronidazole could increase the superoxide dismutase (SOD) serum levels in the periodontitis-induced mice, and both the drugs at the same concentration (200 mg/kg) showed similar SOD activities, which was found to increase. Liensinine also increased the oxidationrelated factor of catalase (CAT), glutathione peroxidase, and decreased nitric oxide, malondialdehyde, and endothelin in the serum of mice, compared to the periodontitis control mice. The serum cytokine levels of Interleukin-6, tumor necrosis factor-a, and Interferon-c in liensinine-treated mice were lower than the control mice, but higher than the normal mice. The serum IL-4 cytokine level of liensinine-treated mice was reversed, i.e., higher than the control mice. In the periodontal tissue, the mRNA and protein expressions of inhibitor of kappa B-a, transforming growth factor beta 1, Interleukin-10, Mn-SOD, Gu/Zn-SOD, and CAT were increased by the treatment with liensinine compared to the control group mice, and nuclear factor kappa B expressions showed the opposite trend. Liensinine is a good functional compound in the treatment of periodontitis, similar to metronidazole drug. Higher concentration of liensinine had better effects.

Synthesis and characterization of TiC powders by sol-gel method

        Liang Gao,Yun Zhang,Xue Yang,YanBin He,LiHua Song 한양대학교 세라믹연구소 2020 Journal of Ceramic Processing Research Vol.21 No.6

TiC powders were successfully synthesized by carbothermal reduction of Ti-O-C precursor in argon at 1,400 °C for 2 h. Andthe Ti-O-C precursor was formed by sol-gel method using titanium butyrate (Ti(OC4H9)4), fructose (C6H12O6), and acetylacetone (acac). Here, acac was used as chemical modifier to control Ti(OC4H9)4 hydrolysis to obtain stable sol. Furthermore,TG-DSC, XRD, FTIR, Raman, SEM, and EDS were employed to characterize the precursor and TiC powders. Moreover, acacas stabilizer was studied using FTIR when reacted with Ti(OC4H9)4 formed stable six-member ring as a result of the existenceof tautomer, prevent the nucleophilic attack of water, which reduced the hydrolysis rate of Ti(OC4H9)4. Besides, the compositionof TiC phase was further understood by the Raman spectra, and the results showed that the peaks at 403 cm−1, 513 cm−1, and 629 cm−1 were ascribed to the characteristic peaks of TiC. Finally, the photomicrograph revealed an equiaxed shape and theaverage grain size of TiC particles was ca. 1 um. The EDS indicated that the particles contain elements of Ti and carbonaccording to dot and line scan.

Iterative Channel Estimation for MIMO-OFDM System in Fast Time-Varying Channels

( Lihua Yang ),( Longxiang Yang ),( Yan Liang ) 한국인터넷정보학회 2016 KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Syst Vol.10 No.9

A practical iterative channel estimation technique is proposed for the multiple-input-multiple-output orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (MIMO-OFDM) system in the high-speed mobile environment, such as high speed railway scenario. In the iterative algorithm, the Kalman filter and data detection are jointed to estimate the time-varying channel, where the detection error is considered as part of the noise in the Kalman recursion in each iteration to reduce the effect of the detection error propagation. Moreover, the employed Kalman filter is from the canonical state space model, which does not include the parameters of the autoregressive (AR) model, so the proposed method does not need to estimate the parameters of AR model, whose accuracy affects the convergence speed. Simulation results show that the proposed method is robust to the fast time-varying channel, and it can obtain more gains compared with the available methods.

      • Efficient Mining Maximal Subspace Differential Co-expression Patterns in Matrix Datasets : a General Earthquake Analysis Approach

        Miao Wang,Zhiyong Xiong,Liang Xu,Lihua Zhang,Cheng Gong,Yi Hu,Yi Lin 보안공학연구지원센터 2015 International Journal of Database Theory and Appli Vol.8 No.3

The electromagnetic anomaly observations before earthquake, have been confirmed by many cases of strong earthquakes. The analysis of earthquake magnetic anomaly is an effective approach for seismo-precursor detection. Traditional frequent mining methods for electromagnetic matrix datasets analysis often find the co-related items. However, these methods may miss the items which are differential co-related patters under different datasets. Mining these differential co-related patterns is more valuable for inferring potential knowledge. In this paper, we develop an algorithm, MSPattern, to mine maximal subspace differential co-expression patterns. MSPattern constructs a weighted undirected item-item relational graph firstly. Then all the maximal co-related patterns would be mined using item-growth method in above graph. MSPattern also utilizes several techniques for producing maximal patterns without candidate patterns maintenance. Evaluated by real electromagnetic matrix datasets and the gene expression datasets, the experimental results show our algorithm can find some potential knowledge for earthquake analysis, and MSPattern algorithm is more efficient than traditional ones. The performance of MSPattern is also evaluated by empirical p-value and gene ontology, the results show our algorithm can find statistical significant and biological differential co-expression patterns.

Expression profiling identified IL-8 as a regulator of homotypic cell-in-cell formation

( Banzhan Ruan ),( Chenxi Wang ),( Ang Chen ),( Jianqing Liang ),( Zubiao Niu ),( You Zheng ),( Jie Fan ),( Lihua Gao ),( Hongyan Huang ),( Xiaoning Wang ),( Qiang Sun ) 생화학분자생물학회(구 한국생화학분자생물학회) 2018 BMB Reports Vol.51 No.8

Homotypic cell-in-cell (CIC) structures forming between cancer cells were proposed to promote tumor evolution via entosis, a nonapoptotic cell death process. However, the mechanisms underlying their formation remained poorly understood. We performed a microarray analysis to identify genes associated with homotypic CIC formation. Cancer cells differing in their ability to form homotypic CIC structures were selected for the study. Association analysis identified 73 probe sets for 62 candidate genes potentially involved in CIC formation. Among them, twenty-one genes were downregulated while 41 genes were upregulated. Pathway analysis identified a gene interaction network centered on IL-8, which was upregulated in high CIC cells. Remarkably, CIC formation was significantly inhibited by IL-8 knockdown and enhanced upon recombinant IL-8 treatment, which correlated with altered cell-cell adhesion and expression of adhesive molecules such as P-cadherin and γ-catenin. Together, our work identified IL-8 as a positive regulator of homotypic CIC formation via enhancing intercellular adhesion. [BMB Reports 2018; 51(8): 412-417]
