Characterization, Antioxidant Capacity and Protective Effect of Peptides from Cordyceps militaris Cultivated with Tussah Pupa on Oxidative Injured HepG2 Cells

Bingxin Li,Jinying Zhang,Yefei Liu,Ze Wang,Fangxu Xu The Korean Society for Microbiology and Biotechnol 2024 Journal of microbiology and biotechnology Vol.34 No.5

The antioxidant capacity and protective effect of peptides from protein hydrolysate of Cordyceps militaris cultivated with tussah pupa (ECPs) on H2O2-injured HepG2 cells were studied. Results indicated ECP1 (<3 kDa) presented the strongest antioxidant activity compared with other molecular weight peptides. Pretreated with ECPs observably enhanced survival rates and reduced apoptosis rates of HepG2 cells. ECPs treatment decreased the ROS level, MDA content and increased CAT and GSH-Px activities of HepG2 cells. Besides, the morphologies of natural peptides from C. militaris cultivated with tussah pupa (NCP1) and ECP1 were observed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Characterization results suggested the structure of NCP1 was changed by enzymatic hydrolysis treatment. Most of hydrophobic and acidic amino acids contents (ACC) in ECP1 were also observably improved by enzymatic hydrolysis. In conclusion, low molecular weight peptides had potential value in the development of cosmetics and health food.

Observer-based Sliding Mode Control for Fractional Order Singular Fuzzy Systems

        Bingxin Li,Xiangfei Zhao,Yaowei Liu,Xin Zhao,Xuefeng Zhang 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2023 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.21 No.9

In the paper, observer-based sliding mode control (SMC) for fractional order singular fuzzy (FOSF) systems with order 0 < α < 1 is studied. The non-fragile FOSF observer is designed to reconstruct the unmeasured states, and a novel fractional order integral sliding function is formulated. Then, the admissibility condition of the FOSF error system is derived, based on the linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach. By using the singular value decomposition approach, the strict LMI-based admissibility condition is improved. Based on the fractional order Lyapunov function and sliding surface, the fractional order SMC is constructed to ensure the reachability of the sliding surface. Two examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the methods proposed in the paper.

      • A Stray Capacitances Model of Inductors with Partial Layer of Windings

        Bingxin Xu,Zhan Shen,Chenglei Liu,Cungang Hu,Bi Liu,Long Jin,Jiangfeng Wang,Xin Li,Zhike Xu,Wu Chen,Xiaohui Qu,Zhixiang Zou 전력전자학회 2023 ICPE(ISPE)논문집 Vol.2023 No.-

With the high precision requirements of electronic devices, more accurate analysis and modelling of stray capacitance is required in order to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI) from the stray capacitance in inductors. This paper proposes an improved analytical model of the stray capacitances of the inductor, which takes into account the capacitances between the windings and the central limb, the side limb and the yokes of the core. A general model of the stray capacitance with each winding as a complete layer is calculated, and the potential of the floating core is derived analytically. For the case of a partial winding layer near the side limb, calculations are derived and the stray capacitance changes are compared for different winding layers. Finally, the stray capacitance model of the partial layer is verified by finite element simulations and experimental results on the prototype.

Effect of Mn Content on the Characteristics of Inclusions in Ti-Containing Steel Welds

        Bingxin Wang,Jing Li 대한금속·재료학회 2021 METALS AND MATERIALS International Vol.27 No.8

Steel weld metals containing Ti were prepared with Mn contents of 0.35%–2.98%. The inclusion characteristics in the weldmetals were investigated by means of thermodynamic calculations coupled with electron probe microanalyses and transmission electron microscopy. The results show that with an increase in Mn content, the primary constituent phases of theinclusions are changed from pseudobrookite to a combination of pseudobrookite and spinel and eventually to a mixture of(Mn–Si–Al)-oxide, spinel and ilmenite. Ti3O5, MnTi2O4 and MnTiO3 are the primary constituents of the pseudobrookite, spinel and ilmenite solid solutions, respectively. Spinel and ilmenite have higher amounts of Mn but lower amounts of Ticompared with that of pseudobrookite. The formation of large amounts of ilmenite and spinel leads to the development of aMn-depleted zone (MDZ) in the vicinity of the matrix/inclusion interface. Acicular ferrite has a Baker–Nutting orientationrelationship with MnTi2O4.

Fault diagnosis of rotating machines based on modified hierarchical fluctuation dispersion entropy and multi-cluster feature selection

        Baoyue Li,Yonghua Yu,Jia Hu,Bingxin Cao,Yangfeng Yao,Defeng Xu 대한기계학회 2023 JOURNAL OF MECHANICAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Vol.37 No.12

The vibration signal of rotating mechanical equipment contains a large amount of information that can be used for the fault diagnosis of rotating mechanical equipment. However, the vibration information is distributed in multiple dimensions, and a single-scale analysis cannot effectively reflect its damage characteristics, reducing the accuracy of fault diagnosis. Accordingly, an improved hierarchical fluctuation dispersion entropy (MHFDE) method based on the improved hierarchical processing is proposed. MHFDE can simultaneously mine low- and highfrequency features in the time series, avoiding information omission. Comparison results of the simulated signals show that the proposed method has the advantages of high stability and accurate measurement of complexity. In combination with the multi-cluster feature selection (MCFS) and kernel limit learning machine (KELM) optimized by whale optimization algorithm (WOA), a rotating machinery damage recognition method based on MHFDE-MCFS and WOA-KEM was proposed. Three sets of typical rotating machinery datasets are used to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method. The results show that this method can not only accurately and stably identify the damage types of the three selected machinery but also have a higher accuracy of damage recognition compared with the existing feature extraction methods.

A Communicationless PCC Voltage Compensation Using an Improved Droop Control Scheme in Islanding Microgrids

Ding, Guangqian,Gao, Feng,Li, Ruisheng,Wu, Bingxin The Korean Institute of Power Electronics 2017 JOURNAL OF POWER ELECTRONICS Vol.17 No.1

This paper proposes a point of common coupling (PCC) voltage compensation method for islanding microgrids using an improved power sharing control scheme among distributed generators (DGs) without communication. The PCC voltage compensation algorithm is implemented in the droop control scheme to reduce the PCC voltage deviation produced by the droop controller itself and the voltage drop on the line impedance. The control scheme of each individual DG unit is designed to use only locally measured feedback variables and an obtained line impedance to calculate the PCC voltage. Therefore, traditional voltage measurement devices installed at the PCC as well as communication between the PCC and the DGs are not required. The proposed control scheme can maintain the PCC voltage amplitude within an allowed range even to some extent assuming inaccurate line impedance parameters. In addition, it can achieve proper power sharing in islanding microgrids. Experimental results obtained under accurate and inaccurate line impedances are presented to show the performance of the proposed control scheme in islanding microgrids.

Effects of stocking density on the homeostasis of uric acid and related liver and kidney functions in ducks

        Lin Peiyi,Liufu Sui,Wang Jinhui,Hou Zhangpeng,Liang Yu,Wang Haiyue,Li Bingxin,Cao Nan,Liu Wenjun,Huang Yunmao,Tian Yunbo,Xu Danning,Li Xiujin,Fu Xinliang 아세아·태평양축산학회 2024 Animal Bioscience Vol.37 No.5

Objective: Stocking density (SD) is an important issue in the poultry industry, which is related to the production performance, intestinal health and immune status. In the present study, the effects of SD on the metabolism and homeostasis of uric acid as well as the related functions of the liver and kidney in ducks were examined. Methods: A total of 360 healthy 56-day-old Shan-ma ducks were randomly divided into the low stocking density (n = 60, density = 5 birds/m2 ), medium stocking density (n = 120, density = 10 birds/m2 ) and high stocking density groups (HSD; n = 180, density = 15 birds/m2 ). Samples were collected in the 3rd, 6th, and 9th weeks of the experiment for analysis. Results: The serum levels of uric acid, lipopolysaccharide and inflammatory cytokines (interleukin-1β [IL-1β], IL-8, and tumor necrosis factor-α [TNF-α]) were increased significantly in the HSD group. Serious histopathological lesions could be seen in both the livers and kidneys in the HSD group in the 9th week. The mRNA expression levels of inflammatory cytokines (IL-8 and TNF-α) and related pathway components (toll-like receptor 4, myeloid differentiation primary response gene 88, and nuclear factor-κB) were increased significantly in both the livers and kidneys in the HSD group. The mRNA expression levels of enzymes (adenosine deaminase, xanthine oxidase, phosphoribosyl pyrophosphate amidotransferase, and phosphoribosyl pyrophosphate synthetase 1) related to the synthesis of uric acid increased significantly in the livers in the HSD group. However, the mRNA expression level of solute carrier family 2 member 9, which plays an important role in the excretion of uric acid by the kidney, was decreased significantly in the kidneys in the HSD group. Conclusion: These results indicated that a higher SD could cause tissue inflammatory lesions in the liver and kidney and subsequently affect the metabolism and homeostasis of uric acid, and is helpful for guiding decisions related to the breeding and production of ducks.
